Coronavirus Lockdown: SET 2020 to be Held in Online Proctored Mode; Check the Guidelines Here

Symbiosis Entrance Test 2020 will be conducted from July 26 to July 29 in online proctored mode. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be conducted on July 19, 2020 but due to the Coronavirus pandemic and nationwide lockdown, the exam and registration dates were extended. Due to the extension of lockdown, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) decided to conduct the SET 2020 exam in online proctored mode with the help of Artificial Intelligence and Human Proctoring. The university has also decided to conduct a mock test so that students will get clarity about the mode of examination. SET 2020: Guidelines for Online Proctored Mode of Examination
Candidates can take the SET 2020 (A) from their homes using a laptop or a desktop (with a webcam) and a 5 MBPS uninterrupted internet connection. Applicants must remember that they will be invigilated using AI and Human Proctoring. Candidates must take the exam ethically and honestly as Symbiosis University holds the right to disbar the candidate if he/she is found to be involved in malpractice.
Basic Instructions
- Candidates must use a laptop/desktop which has Windows 7, 8, 10 and Ubuntu LINUX (14.1 and 16) version
- If the candidate is using a laptop, then he/she must make sure that it is connected to the charger throughout the exam
- The laptop/desktop must have minimum 4GB of RAM and Intel Core i3 processor or above
- There must be at least 100 MB of free space in the system
- Candidates must be seated in front of the laptop throughout the exam duration
- The face of the candidate must be clearly visible, hence they must sit in an area which has good lighting
- Candidates must take the exam in formals or smart casuals
- There shouldn't be any disturbance in the background
- No electronic gadget other than the mobile phone which has the registered mobile number will be permitted
- Candidates will be required to fulfill the IT infrastructure requirements needed to take the test
Instructions to be Followed During the Exam
- Candidates must not leave their seats throughout the exam because their video and images will be recorded and supervised in real-time with the help of AI and Human Proctor. If they do so, it will be considered as a violation
- Applicants must not open any other application window and if anybody would be caught doing so, he/she will be disbarred
- No breaks are allowed during the exam
- Candidates cannot use any electronic gadget such as a tablet, calculator, etc. while giving the exam. They can only use a plain paper and pencil
- Candidates are not allowed to talk or speak during the SET exam
- Candidates must not disturb the position of the webcam during the exam. It will auto-submit the test and the exam will not be accessible by the candidates thereafter
- Candidates must use the same system for all the tests
