SET Exam Result 2026: Release Date (OUT), How to Download Symbiosis SET Scorecard @set-test.org

SIU will release the SET 2026 result on May 20, 2026. SET scorecard will be available for both sessions on same day. Students can use their login details to download scorecard. 

Previously, the SET exam had 150 questions. They were reduced to 60 multiple-choice questions in the year 2021, and the duration of the exam was also reduced  proportionally. SET score is valid for admission for the same academic year in which the candidate has taken the exam. For example, SET 2026 score will be valid for admission for 2026-2029 BBA batch only. If a candidate wishes to drop a year after taking the SET exam, then they will have to appear for the exam once again next year. They should however check the eligibility or selection criteria to have a clarity of SET score of which session/phase is valid for admission in which academic year. Candidates taking the SET exam, the test takers must not try to use their score for admission more than one year after appearing for it. They should appear for it again and use the latest score for admission.

3. Enter login details, SET user ID and password 
4. Check your result for the SET exam
5. Download the SET scorecard and take a printout of the same for future references

After the declaration of SET result, each participating institute will release a cutoff list to shortlist the candidates. The participating institutes will then call the candidates for the admission process which includes further rounds. If candidates want to apply at colleges other than those selected during the SET application process, then they will have to fill out the application form for those other colleges individually. The SET selection process includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Applicants can begin preparing for the GD/PI rounds soon after the SET result announcement. SET score remains valid for one year for BBA admission. The final admissions will be based on candidates' performance in the SET exam as well as in WAT/PI/ST rounds.

Symbiosis International adheres to the reservation criteria as per the University of Grants Commission guidelines 2006 reservation policy for all the institutes. The sanctioned intake is as follows: 

SET exam has four sections having multiple-choice questions. The sectional weightage of each section of the SET question paper is different. The General English, Quantitative Aptitude and General Knowledge sections have 16 questions. Each question carries one mark. The Analytical and Logical Reasoning section of the SET question paper has12 multiple-choice questions and each question carries one mark. For incorrect answers, there is no negative marking. Yes, 36 is a good score in SET exam. General category usually faces a competitive SET cut off. The SET 2026 cut off will likely be between 34 to 42 marks. 

No, the only way to get BBA admission 2026 in Symbiosis University is through SET exam. Students have to appear for PI and GD for final admissions. 

SET cut-offs will be announced after the declaration of the result. The SET scores are accepted by the ten prestigious colleges of the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and each individual institute releases their own cutoff after the results are announced. SET results are usually announced in the last week of May, for the both the sessions and other courses. Students can check the same on the official websites of the institutes. The students who match the cutoff criteria will be called for further selection process which includes Group Discussions and Personal Interview . Some institutes also conduct Written Ability Test as a part of the selection process.

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is conducted for admission to various undergraduate courses offered by the ten prestigious institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). The admissions to these colleges is done on the basis of the scores obtained by the students in the SET exam. Students who wish to appear in the SET exam must have scored at least 50% aggregate in Class 12. Hence, your eligibility criteria to appear for the SET entrance exam matches the your score in Class 12, i.e. 75%. However, the SET cutoff usually goes up till 90% for the General category. If you belogn to the General category then, having a 45% in the SET entrance exam lowers your chances of getting into the Symbiosis International University. Most of the colleges follow the same selection process, i.e. exam score, Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). Some colleges do not conduct WAT. The GD round is conducted group-wise. For instance, SCMC Pune does not conduct the Group Discussion round but rather has a studio test. Students' academic profile is also taken into consideration for the final selection.

Candidates have to choose their preferred institutes during the SET application process and pay the requisite fee. After the SET results are announced, the SET participating institutes will release their cutoffs. If the candidate matches the cutoff, they will be required to appear for the further admission process which includes the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). 

Aspirants do not need to call the institutes nor will they get a call from the institutes. Candidates will be required fill out the registration form for the participating Symbiosis Institutes after the announcement of results and cut-off marks according to the schedule released on their official websites.
