The Symbiosis International (Deemed University) releases the SET scorecards for all sessions. Only the candidates who appeared for the SET exam were able to download their scorecards using their User ID and password. The scorecards were available only on the official website. The SET exam 2024 was conducted on May 5, 2024, and May 11, 2024, in the computer-based test mode. The SET results were out for all the courses provided by the institutes under the Symbiosis International University. No, after the SET exam is cleared, candidates had to go through for further selection procedure conducted by the participating institutes. The SET scores are accepted by the ten prestigious institutes of the Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Candidates need to meet the cutoff criteria of the participating institutes to take admissions. The admission process included Written Ability Test (What), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). Other factors such as academic record, work experience, etc. were also considered for admission to various institutes which accept SET scores. SET score is determined on the basis of correct answers marked by aspirants in the SET exam. For each correct answer, candidates are awarded one mark. For an incorrect answer, there is no negative marking. And also no marks will be awarded or deducted for unaswered questions. Candidates who match the SET cutoff criteria are further called for the Personal Interview round. 

Therefore, the total marks of SET is 60. The sectional marking scheme for SET is given below:

1. General English: 16
2. Analytical and Logical Reasoning: 12
3. Quantitative Ability: 16
4. General Knowledge: 16

Candidates must choose the questions to solve very carefully and smartly as they will not be awarded marks for incorrect answers. If they are not sure of the correct answer, they should leave the question instead of taking a chance.

SET results will be annoucned in the third week of May 2025 tentatively. The exam results are announced within approximately three weeks of the SET exam. If you meet the SET cutoff, candidates need to prepare for the further admission process which includes WAT and PI. To prepare for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI), you should focus on improving your communication skills, general knowledge, and awareness of current affairs. It's also advisable to practice answering commonly asked interview questions and participate in mock interviews.

The WAT and PI process at various Symbiosis centres usually continue till the end of July every year.

No, there is no provision of re-evaluation of the SET scores once the SET results are announced. SET counselling is conducted for candidates who have cleared the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) and have secured a rank in the merit list. To be eligible for SET counselling, candidates must fulfil the following criteria:

1. The candidate must have qualified for the SET exam by obtaining the minimum qualifying marks and matching the cutoff criteria of the participating institutes
2. Candidates must have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board or institution.
3. The candidate must have scored at least 50% aggregate or equivalent grade (45% for reserved categories) in Class 12
4. The candidate must meet the eligibility criteria for the desired course and college for admission based on SET.
5. The candidate must have all the required documents as required at the time of document verification.

Candidates who fulfil the above eligibility criteria can participate in SET counseling process. Such candidates can apply for admission to various undergraduate courses offered by colleges accepting SET scores.

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is conducted for admission to various undergraduate courses offered by the ten prestigious institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). The admissions to these colleges is done on the basis of the scores obtained by the students in the SET exam. Students who wish to appear in the SET exam must have scored at least 50% aggregate in Class 12. Hence, your eligibility criteria to appear for the SET entrance exam matches the your score in Class 12, i.e. 75%. However, the SET cutoff usually goes up till 90% for the General category. If you belogn to the General category then, having a 45% in the SET entrance exam lowers your chances of getting into the Symbiosis International University. SET score is valid for admission for the same academic year in which the candidate has taken the exam. For example, SET 2024 score will be valid for admission for 2024-2027 BBA batch only. If a candidate wishes to drop a year after taking the SET exam, then they will have to appear for the exam once again next year. They should however check the eligibility or selection criteria to have a clarity of SET score of which session/phase is valid for admission in which academic year. Candidates taking the SET exam, the test takers must not try to use their score for admission more than one year after appearing for it. They should appear for it again and use the latest score for admission.

SET cut-offs will be announced after the declaration of the result. In the WAT, candidates are given a topic to write a short essay. The essay is usually of 200-300 words. Through WAT, the interviews check candidates' knowledge, clarity of thought, and communication ability. In the PI round, candidates are judged on their interpersonal skills, communication ability, and overall personality. For instance, SCMC Pune does not conduct the Group Discussion round but rather has a studio test that the students are judged on. Students' academic profile is also taken into consideration for the final selection. However, there may be slight differences in cut-offs or weightage assigned to various selection criteria of the colleges.
