GIM Admission Test or GAT 2025 syllabus for BBA Programme will have questions from English Language, Quantitative, Reasoning & Intelligence and General Knowledge. For MBA programme, GAT syllabus is divided into four parts namely English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & Intelligence, and Data Interpretation. This article will provide you a detailed syllabus of GAT exam as well as other related information such as the section-wise distribution of questions and best books for GAT preparation.

Q:   What is full form of GAT?

A:

The full form for GITAM GAT is GITAM Admission Test. It is an management entrance test conducted by Gandhian Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) for admission to MBA/PGDM programe of GITAM School of Business. Candidates seeking admision to Post graduate programe of GITAM must appear for the exam. Candidates having valid score in national level management entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. will be exemted from taking the GITAM GAT exam. Candidates will be required to fill the application form to be eligible for appearing in group discussion and personal interview rounds. GITAM GAT is conducted in multiple sessions in a year. Candidates can chose the date of examination as per their convenience.

Q:   When is GAT usually conducted, and how can I get information about the exam dates?

GAT (GITAM Admission Test) is conducted multiple times a year, with different exam dates for different admission cycles. The exact GITAM GAT exam dates is announced for each session. GITAM GAT is a paper based test conducted at exam centres across India. Q:   When will be the GAT exam conducted?

A:

GAT 2025 exam will be held in multiple sessions. Candidates who will register for the exam will be able to appear for the GAT exam. The examination for GITAM (Deemed to be University) UG and PG admissions will be held in computer based mode. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre. GAT exam is codncuted for a duration of 60 minutes. As per the GAT exam pattern, the question paper consists of 200 multiple choice questions. Candidates had to choose a correct answer among the four options provided. There will be negative marking for wrong answers of 1/3 marks. Candidates wothout GAT admit card will not permitted to enter the GAT exam centre.

Q:   What is the last date for GITAM GAT application form?

A:

The last date to apply for first phase of GAT exam will be notified. Aspirants will be able to submit the online GAT 2025 application form online till prescribed date at gitam.edu. Registered candidates will also be able to download the GAT 2025 admit card when released. Candidates will not be permitted to take the exam without the registration and admit card.

As per the GITAM Management Admission Test (GAT) marking scheme, for every correct answer candidate will get one mark. There will be negative marking for wrong answers. For every wrong answer 1/3 of the mark will be deducted. There will be no negative marking for not attempted questions. As per the GAT 2025 exam pattern, the question paper will consist of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs), of one mark each. There will be no sectional time limit. Candidates can start answering from any section they are comfortable with. The GAT BBA exam is conducted for a duration of 60 minutes.

Candidates interested in admission to BBA or MBA programme of GITAM Deemed to be University, must fill the online application form on or before the last date. The GAT application form can be filled in online mode only when released. GITAM will commence the GAT 2025 registrations online after the release of notification. Candidates must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligbility criteria before filling the application form. To complete the GAT 2025 registrations candidates must ensure to pay the GITAM application fee of INR 1200. The application fee can be paid in online mode only.

Stage 1: Fill the GAT BBA application form

Stage 2: Appear for the exam

Stage 3: Declaration of results; shortlisting of candidates

Each student can appear for the GAT exam once for one course in one phase. Authorities does not provide re-appearing students with credentials by considering it an unfair practice of duplicate application. Candidates can apply for courses while filling the single application form.
