A. I had expected myself to be amongst the top 10.
Q. How did you prepare for the examination? What was your preparation strategy?
A. I had begun my preparations from the beginning of the session itself. I focused more on self-study and used to read all NCERT books daily. My teachers guided me throughout. Also, I used to go for an hour-long coaching every day in my neighbourhood.
Q. When did you finish your syllabus?
A. I completed the syllabus in January and then revised until the last day of the examination.
Q. What do you think should everyone’s preparation strategy be?
A. I think students should chalk out a study schedule in the beginning and divide their time according to the number of chapters and the subjects.
Q. What are your plans after this? What do you plan to become?
A. I want to become an IAS officer and will give the UPSC Civil Services exam.
Q, Do you think COVID-19 had an impact on your studies? Will it have an effect on the upcoming admissions?
A. Luckily, our exams were over by the time the Coronavirus had spread throughout the country, so, there wasn’t any effect. But it would definitely affect the upcoming admission cycle for the entrance examinations. Also, I think to contain the spread of the Coronavirus, we all should stay at home as we want to be healthy.
Q. Would you like to give students some tips to do well in the BSEB examination?
A. Students should be well focused and dedicated while preparing for their examinations. They should also focus more on self-studying. They should be thorough with all the topics given in the books and read them slowly.
