Breaking: CBSE Secretary says CBSE Class 12, 10 Results 2023 to be out by May End

Talking about the average passing percantage which saw a jump during the COVID Pandemic period, CBSE Secretary said that overall the passing percentage remains around 90, which is likely to remain the same this year

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to publish the CBSE Board results in 2023 of class 10 and Class 12 by May end. CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi speaking exclusively with Shiksha.com said that CBSE results 2023 will be out by the end of May.

Talking about the timeline of the CBSE examination Tripathi said that this year it was 100 percent normal situation, the examination was conducted on time, evaluations are happening on time and the result will also announced on time.

Speaking about the time by when students should expect CBSE Class 12 results and CBSE Class 10 results, Tripathi said: “We will be out with the CBSE Board Results by May end. We will try if we can come up with the results before May end as well.”

Speaking to Shiksha he said that before COVID, CBSE set a target to begin the CBSE Board exam by mid-February, end the Board exams by mid-April and publish CBSE Board Results by May end, which will be met this year. CBSE Secretary said: “Evaluation is a lengthy process as there are 40 lakh students and there are over two crore copies, and this takes time.”

He said that once the evaluation is done, it takes 15-20 days to process the results and the last process is to upload the results on the website. “We are hopeful that we will be able to publish the results by May end as the timetable is settled now and the same timetable will continue.

Once released, students will be able to check and download their CBSE 12th board results 2023 from the official websites- results.cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in
