CBSE finally released the revised syllabus for classes 9 to 12 for the academic year 2020-21. Read further to download the revised curriculum here.

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE finally released the revised syllabus for classes 9 to 12 for the academic year 2020-21. HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced the revised syllabus. According to the latest tweets posted by the HRD Minister, the CBSE Syllabus for 2020-21 classes 9 to 12 is reduced by 30%. The focus right now is to retain the core concepts. The subject wise revised curriculum is listed below for quick reference for Classes 9 , 10 and Classes 11 and 12. The Board's released syllabus would also assist students to begin their preparation for CBSE 10th Board Exams 2021 and CBSE 12th Board Exams 2021 amid the ongoing closure due to the COVID-19 outbreak. 

Revised Curriculum for Core Subjects is provided below for quick downloads. For the remaining subjects, students and parents as well as teachers can check the revised curriculum for 2021 Classes 9 to 12 on cbseacademic.nic.in at http://cbseacademic.nic.in/revisedcurriculum_2021.html. Among the reduced syllabus, the chapters are not removed but few portions of the chapters are deducted.

The Education Minister through his Twitter handle further added that the focus was to rationalize the syllabus and also the retention of core concepts. He states, β€œLooking at the extraordinary situation prevailing in the country and the world, #CBSE was advised to revise the curriculum and reduce course load for the students of Class 9th to 12th.”
