GSEB examinations for classes 10 and 12 likely to be from May 10 or 17. Read to know more.
The Gujarat Board is considering May 10 or May 17 as the two dates for conducting the board examinations for classes 10 and 12 as it will now be conducting the GSEB Class 10 and GSEB Class 12 examinations in May 2021. One of these two dates will be picked and the detailed GSEB 10th timetable and GSEB Class 12 time table will be released by next week.
Earlier, GSEB had announced the decision to postpone the board exams for this academic session in November 2020. This decision was taken to give students some extra time to prepare for the exams as no classroom studies were conducted this year due to the pandemic.
The GSEB 10th Syllabus 2021 as well as GSEB 12th Syllabus 2021 has also been reduced in view of the pandemic. Moreover, the State Board has also decided to keep the ratio of 30:70 for MCQ and descriptive questions.
The number of examination centres for the Gujarat board exams 2021 has been increased this year from 5,500 to 6,700 to maintain social distancing norms amid COVID-19.
This year around 10.5 lakh students are likely to register for Class 10 board exams and 5.30 lakh students for class 12 board exams.
