A brief review of Adichunchungiri Institute of Technology, Chikmagalur.
Placements: 65-70% of students get placed every year in this course. The highest package is 15 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5-6 LPA. ABB, Google, ChatGPT, Amazon, TCS, etc., visit the campus. About 40% of students get internships in this course. The top roles offered are machine building, program development, and robotics building.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is old and nice. Classrooms are clean and connected with projectors. The campus is covered with average-speed Wi-Fi, there are many labs, and the library has every book that we need in 4 years. The faculty are good and well-educated, and everyone has at least a Ph.D. There is a canteen for students where we can get everything. The mess always has boring food, but it is tasty. For any emergency, they provide a van for the hospital. The college has a very large ground for sports and also has a gym.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is awesome. No, the course curriculum does not make students industry-ready as much as the industry needs. The semester exams are not difficult to score in but are not easy to pass. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in both machine learning and program development, and as part of this course, you can get a job in both segments: machine building or program development.

Our college is accredited with NAAC A grade.
Placements: Every semester, this college conducts training classes for placements. Around 5 students got placed with an average salary package of 10 LPA at Mercedes Benz. Few students got placed with a minimum salary package of 8.25 LPA at other companies.
Infrastructure: Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Hostel is great. Mess is also available. They provide ragi balls twice a week. Several books are available in the library under various schemes. Many students visit ISRO, Bangalore.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive. They are easily approachable. They also provide in-depth knowledge to students. Semester exams are conducted by VTU.
Other: Our campus life is good.

Peaceful atmosphere with less crowd.
Placements: In our college, the highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Companies like Wipro and Infosys provide high packages, while others offer lower ones. Most of the students get hired for low packages, but they need to develop skills to get placed. The college provides good training facilities.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, I would rate it 7 out of 10. The canteen food quality is an 8 out of 10, and the campus is quite large. The hostel facilities are also good. The boys' hostel is inside the campus, while the girls' hostel is located outside. The girls' hostel provides good food and water facilities and is maintained in good, clean condition.
Faculty: Almost all professors have completed their education in the same college. They are friendly, helpful to students in every aspect, including attendance. They also support students to score well in VTU exams by helping with internals. It's not difficult to pass; we can easily clear every subject with their guidance.
Other: The crowd is very minimal, creating a peaceful atmosphere. Two main events are organized, with Chunchana being held once a year.

Placements are good and the college life is enjoyable.
Placements: There are good campus placements. In 2022, almost 30 percent of the students were placed. Internships can be done outside of college, and the college also gives students the opportunity to do internships outside of college. Civil, mechanical, computer science, and information technology are the courses provided here.
Infrastructure: Nature's view is good. The view from the college and the atmosphere are good around here. They have a vast variety of lab equipment. The teaching staff has good knowledge.
The hostel facility is good, with hot water and hygienic rooms. The food in the mess is tasty compared to other foods.
Faculty: There are highly qualified teaching staff who are knowledgeable and have good teaching qualities. This course curriculum is very relevant and makes the students industry-ready.
The semester's difficulty is based on VTU University, as they set the papers and syllabus. The pass percentage is quite good at this college.
Other: Events are a bit less compared to other colleges.

It is a good college for studying. There is no disturbance.
Placements: About 90% of students are placed at good companies. 10.8 LPA is the highest salary package, and 4 LPA is the lowest salary package. Tata is the top recruiting company. Nine out of every ten students will be placed without any doubt. Skills depend on students.
Infrastructure: Our campus is huge and beautiful. We have well-developed labs, like computer labs. Many systems are available in our college. We can go to the labs and use the systems during our free time. The hostel is hygienic. They take care of students well. The food is fine.
Faculty: Our HOD is very strict and good. Exams are conducted very strictly. Qualitative papers are created by our teachers. Teachers are good. We can stop them anywhere and ask them about our doubts. They will clarify our doubts at any time.

The college campus amidst nature.
Placements: Only 60% of students were placed in our college, as companies coming to our college are very few. The highest package was 11 LPA till now. Average package is 3 LPA.
Top companies coming to our college are TCS and Accenture.
They do not provide internships from our college.
Software developer is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Wifi is provided to our ID monthly on request.
Labs and classrooms are sufficiently comfortable.
The quality of the food is bad, not tasty at all. Canteen is good but untidy. Medical facilities are excellent, and sports are highly encouraged here.
Faculty: Faculty is very friendly and understanding in our department.
Our syllabus is relevant, as ours is a VTU syllabus. It makes students industry-ready, but a still more efficient way is required.
Difficulty level is reduced as half of the marks are with our faculty.
Other: I chose this course only because I did not want to do medicine. I found out my interest in coding in my 12th grade.
I want my course to improve teaching in coding languages.
Events are conducted regularly; Fest is conducted every year. Branch festivals are also done in a grand way.
