Honest review on Sathyabama.
Placements: I took Computer Science and Engineering, so the first two years were online. The faculty doesn’t care about teaching the easiest methods and logic about coding. Regarding placements, everything seems made up. You will get a placement and offer letter, but you won’t receive a call from the company.
Infrastructure: Coming to infrastructure, Sathyabama provides the best infrastructure in Chennai. Hostel food is excellent; Sathyabama offers the best food in Chennai. Hostel accommodation is also nice, with larger rooms and good food for hostelers. Everything is great for hostelers.
Faculty: Faculty is not very good, and the planning of the academic curriculum is also not up to the fee that we pay. The faculty doesn’t teach easy methods to learn coding. In placements, you aren’t allowed to attend another company drive once you get a company. You will be blocked in placement portals.
Other: Regarding connectivity, there is bus transport from the bus and railway station. Fests and cultural events happen twice a year. Scholarships and extracurricular activities like hackathons, startup innovation hubs, and everything else will be there.

Good Education for All.
Placements: I think in placements at our college, Sathyabama University, 60 to 70% of students were placed in my ECE course. The highest package was 14 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA offered in my course. The top recruiting companies for my course are HP, etc. 85% of students got internships from my course.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my courses and department are some, like 6 to 7, only for my department. Wi-Fi was available all the time, but we don’t know the password for the Wi-Fi in our college. But sometimes they keep Wi-Fi blocked to not use it in some areas.
Faculty: All the teachers are helping us for better understanding of the subject and for a better future. They are so helpful and qualified for working in this field and also knowledgeable to teach our subject. The teaching quality, if I rate it, means 10 out of 10, but sometimes only 5 for some teachers.
Other: I chose this course based on my opinion because I think it was fun to learn about electrical and electronic engineering. The lab I used to do all the practical work because I love studying about that. The thing I wish would be better and improved about my course is the lab facility because when we go to the lab, the teachers are not friendly to us.

Amazing Placements, Free Bus and Mess Facilities.
Placements: Students get their placement training from the second year itself. 95% of students who were eligible for campus placements are selected. The highest package this year was 50 LPA, and the lowest was around 4 to 5 LPA. The top companies are Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Deloitte, and many more. The top roles offered are developers, business analysts, UI/UX designers, and many more.
Infrastructure: The Campus Has Wi-Fi Zones Near every department. In a classroom, 60 students are there, and the classroom is Spacious and cleaned daily. The Library is accessible for all the Students in the campus, and it is so Big. In the Hostel, you have both AC and Non-AC rooms. You also have laundry facilities. There is a clinic and pharmacy inside the Campus if students are not well. The Quality and Taste of the Food in the mess and Canteen is So Good, and Both Veg and Non-veg have separate Messes. Students can access the University Ground before and after college hours.
Faculty: The Curriculum is updated according to technological advancements every 4 years. So the students can get better knowledge about the growing technologies. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The staff are extremely experienced and knowledgeable. The staff are also friendly to the students in my experience. The semesters are moderate in difficulty, and if prepared well, you can clear all the papers. 40 out of 60 students get all cleared in the semesters.
Other: I am more interested towards Information Technology and IT industry, so I chose B.Tech. in IT. This really has scope in the coming years. This course comes up with 3 programming languages, which will be very useful during placements. Once a year in February, Culturals happen. Everyone in Chennai knows that Sathyabama University has the best Culturals, and it is so grand with many celebrities coming. The campus is completely safe. Do join this college for placement. I'm not sure, but the food is very nice.
Placements: No placement at college in the last two years. Companies coming are like call centers, and the highest package is 50 lakhs. Overall review of my college is 70% placement, but they will provide extra courses like AI and ML with a low package of 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very bad, and the food is very nice. The lab is also very nice. There are no sports games, and the canteen food is very nice, but there is a long line to stand in. In college, they give daily non-veg and veg food with nice food.
Faculty: Old curriculum and old syllabus. Old classrooms and no PowerPoint. Also, old staff teaching and does not provide much to describe my college. Think and join at my college and try it. It is very strict, aware shoes, and also separates boys and girls.
