Aachi Institute of Management and Entrepreneurial Development (AIMED) was established under Aachi Educational and Research Foundation, which was founded by Mr. A.D. Padmasingh Isaac, Chairman and Managing Director of Aachi Group of Companies, Chennai. The institute has a collaboration with Bharathidasan University, which is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and was established by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 1982.

AIMED aims to help the students in becoming successful entrepreneurs and business leaders in the coming future. And hence, it has designed all its courses in such a way that every student goes through all the functional and practical aspects of setting up a business and running it efficiently. The teaching pedagogy involves interactive class room sessions, including lectures, exercises, Group Discussions (GD), role plays, case studies, practice sessions, term projects, industrial visits, etc.

The faculty to student ratio at the institute is 1:8 and additionally, Aachi Institute of Management and Entrepreneurial Development also provides frequent guest lectures using both its in-house talents and external guest faculty. The institute offers PG diploma, certificate and Foreign Language courses.

Admission to each programme offered at Aachi Institute of Management and Entrepreneurial Development is based on the academic performance of a student in the previous qualifying exams. The institute offers admission in online mode through its official website. Candidates need to register and fill the application form to apply for the programmes offered by Aachi Institute of Management and Entrepreneurial Development.

Aachi Institute of Management and Entrepreneurial Development Courses

Aachi Institute of Management and Entrepreneurial Development offers postgraduate programmes such as PG diploma in Management and Entrepreneurship (PGDME) and Post Graduate diploma in Family Managed Business (PGDFMB) with a course duration of one and a half years each. In addition to this, the institute also offers short-terms courses such as certificate programme in Retail Sales and Foreign Language courses. The duration of certificate programme and Foreign Language is three months and one year, respectively.
