It was founded by International Olympic Committee, EPFL, UNIL, University of Geneva, IMD Business School, EHL, Lausanne Capitale Olympique and Canton De Vaud. It is affiliated to the University of Lausanne. The Institute offers Executive Education Programme and Post Graduate Certificate Programme. The campus of AISTS is located in Mumbai.
