I am satisfied with the college as it has quite decent placements. Campus is lush green.
Placements: Around 60%-70% of students in our college are placed. Talking about off-campus placements, it is quite high. Campus placements are decent, with a maximum salary package of 15 LPA - 20 LPA and the lowest being mass recruiters whose salary package is 3 LPA-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. Most of the interested students get internship opportunities if they perform well in projects and academics.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is good with a lush green campus. It spans an area of 40 acres. There are sufficient labs for each course, and they are well-maintained. College also provides opportunities to explore areas like robotics and more. It has a central library, which is quite decent and well-equipped with fast Wi-Fi connections. Classrooms don't have air-conditioners, only fans are provided. Hostels have sports facilities, medical facilities, libraries, and labs. Hostel food is healthy and good compared to other PGs and messes near college.
Faculty: Faculty members are not very good, but they are decent. Every batch gets different faculty members; some are good, but some are not up to the mark. It follows the normal AKTU curriculum, which I don't think is the best, but it includes all the basic information required. College is very strict on academics. They conduct tests every month, like seasonal tests and PUts. Main pass percentage is provided by AKTU examination.
Other: As there is a lot of scope in CSE, I chose the CSE AIML branch. College should focus more on extracurricular activities like sports, debates, fests, seminars, etc. Here, the college mostly focuses on academics. There is no fest in this college. We only have a fresher's party and a farewell party.

Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College review.
Placements: In my batch, there are 120 students. The highest salary package in our course is 38.66 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant. After graduation, you can work in a variety of fields, including software engineer, game developer, data analyst, and data scientist.
Infrastructure: Our course has well-equipped labs and classrooms, including an electronics lab, a mechanical lab, a chemistry lab, a physics lab, and a robotics lab. The hostel facilities are also quite good, with good food, hostel rooms, and a well-equipped gym.
Faculty: The faculty at AKGEC is quite good. They pay attention to each student personally. There is a 75% attendance requirement for exams, which is both good and bad, depending on your perspective. The college conducts tests and exams on time.
Other: I chose this course because it offers a combination of computer science and information technology. This combination allows you to go into either software or hardware after graduation.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the poor management of AKGEC.
Placements: This year, the placements are really bad, especially because of the recession period. The placements themselves are usually not that nice, but due to the recession in the IT sector this year, it is way worse. Other branches apart from all the computer-related branches are being placed in large amounts. ME, ECE, EN, CIVIL—these branches have better placements than CSE branches this year.
Infrastructure: The facilities, such as Wi-Fi, do not work. It is very slow, and if you want to actually study, it will only frustrate you because of how slow it is. There are no ACs in classes, and in the summer of 2024, it's WAY TOO HOT. We have classes in May, June, July, which are the hottest months of the year, and the management thinks we should be 'mentally strong' and not be bothered by the extremely hot classrooms, which are unbearable. The management is not there to help the students.
Faculty: The faculty may be qualified and have the required degrees, but they do not know how to teach, and most of the faculty don't want to teach. The curriculum is very outdated, and no practical applications are taught. Even in labs, they don't teach us anything and expect us to do the research ourselves and complete the experiments. They do not care if we even did the experiments; they just want their lab files, which are handwritten CODE.
Other: The value for money is not there since even after taking this much money, they cannot put ACs and instead are just building more classrooms so they can extend the number of seats in order to get more admissions and hence more money.

Really good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Placements are average; approximately 90% of students are placed. The lowest package is 4 lakhs, and the highest is 22 lakhs. Companies such as Amazon, Flipkart, Google, TCS, and Aditya Birla recruit here. The college has no role in providing internships; you have to find them yourself.
Infrastructure: High-speed wireless data is available all over the campus, ensuring students can access online resources and collaborate digitally from any location. Classrooms are equipped with multimedia projectors, smart boards, and comfortable seating arrangements. Various types of hostels are available according to your needs. The hostel food quality is good. Medical facilities are free for students of the college.
Faculty: The faculty is good and helpful. They are very skilled and help students. The faculty are very qualified. I think the curriculum is not relevant enough; it should be up-to-date. It does not fully prepare students for the market and is not able to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult.
Other: I chose this because I am interested in computer science. The course is interesting and involves working on real-life examples. My course should be up-to-date, not outdated.

Good college overall for placement but not suitable if you are looking for fun .
Placements: The percent of students placed were about 70 percent among which the highest package was approximately 49 Lacs average package was 17 Lacs and the lowest 6 Lacs the top recruiting companies were infosys, Accenture, tata etc. Top roles were of full sack developed, tester, etc.
Infrastructure: The labs and infrastructure for these labs are good with proper equipments and devices available in each lab with proper Wi-Fi and ventilation condition. The hostel facility is even good with good food provided along with medical facilities and most importantly the sports team have the best player and mentors.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful among which many facilities are there that really have a wide knowledge in their field. The course curriculum is not completely relevant as students will still need to learn all the essential skills on there own.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027

Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College has good academics but lacks cultural development.
Placements: I am pursuing B. Tech in electronics and communication engineering. I have chosen this branch because it is accredited by the NBA, and companies prefer branches during recruitment. The highest package from our college was 1.17 crore, and the average package for all the engineering branches lies somewhere between 6-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure and facilities in terms of academics, such as well-equipped labs and a library. The only downside in classes is that they are not air-conditioned, and neither is the hostel. The worst part of this college is its hostel. No cleanliness and a number of restrictions are imposed.
Faculty: The faculty of our institution is highly experienced. They know how to tackle both the weak and the bright simultaneously. Apart from being qualified, they are also highly supportive, both academically and emotionally. There are sessional tests every month, which helps us prepare for final exams.
