A short and honest description of my college.

Placements: The process of campus selection here is quite good. You must have obtained more than a 7 CGPA in the University exams with no backlogs in any subject. When we talk about the average package, it is 4 Lacs per annum. Along with the CGPA, you must have some skills. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, Intel, HCL, etc.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the poor management of AKGEC.

Placements: This year, the placements are really bad, especially because of the recession period. The placements themselves are usually not that nice, but due to the recession in the IT sector this year, it is way worse. Other branches apart from all the computer-related branches are being placed in large amounts. ME, ECE, EN, CIVIL—these branches have better placements than CSE branches this year.

Best college in India is AKGEC.

Placements: In this college placement cell, it provides 90% placement for all students. The highest package in recent years is 1 crore plus, the lowest package is approximately 3 to 4 lacs, and the average is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Amazon, Paytm, TCS, etc. 3rd-year course students are eligible for internships, and this course is the best for placement.

Really good academics, but worse in terms of infrastructure.

Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech. It teaches information technology, and it is one of the NBA-accredited courses by AICTE. The highest package from our college was 1.25 crore, and the lowest is around 3 crore per annum. The average package is around 6-7 lacs per year, and if you are good at coding, you can easily bag a package of 20–25 LPA.
