The Honest Review of College!

Placements: The placement of this college is not very great! Last year, there was a 75% placement rate for the CSE department (out of 2,500 students), 90% for the ECE department (out of 200 students), and 95% for the CE department (out of 50 students). The top recruiting companies include Flipkart, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, etc.

AKGEC college review, with all pros and cons.

Placements: The placement records, as per the college website, are quite good. The reality isn't different; placement records are good. But the amount that companies give is very low. The average package stands at 3–4 lacs per annum, while the highest can go around 30-34 lacs per annum. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and Commvault visit every year, while the top companies like Google and Amazon do not visit frequently.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the poor management of AKGEC.

Placements: This year, the placements are really bad, especially because of the recession period. The placements themselves are usually not that nice, but due to the recession in the IT sector this year, it is way worse. Other branches apart from all the computer-related branches are being placed in large amounts. ME, ECE, EN, CIVIL—these branches have better placements than CSE branches this year.

The college is only good for obtaining a degree certificate.

Placements: 50 percent of students get placed in our college. 8 LPA is the highest package and 3 LPA is the lowest package, and the average is 5 LPA for our course. There are no top companies that visit our college. All companies are newly startups. Only 50 percent of students have done internships online.

The college is strict in its policies.

Placements: The placements are quite average and mostly below average. The college does not allow internships in which staying outside is required especially for Third-year students and the second-year students.

Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College has good academics but lacks cultural development.

Placements: I am pursuing B. Tech in electronics and communication engineering. I have chosen this branch because it is accredited by the NBA, and companies prefer branches during recruitment. The highest package from our college was 1.17 crore, and the average package for all the engineering branches lies somewhere between 6-7 LPA.

Really good academics, but worse in terms of infrastructure.

Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech. It teaches information technology, and it is one of the NBA-accredited courses by AICTE. The highest package from our college was 1.25 crore, and the lowest is around 3 crore per annum. The average package is around 6-7 lacs per year, and if you are good at coding, you can easily bag a package of 20–25 LPA.

The average college of Ghaziabad.

Placements: The placement records of our college are decent, as each and every student can get placement inside the college. The companies that visit our college are generally mass recruiters and hence the average package is 4 to 5 lacs only. The college is not that supportive of placing the students.

The college is way better than others.

Placements: The average placement of our college is 5 LPA, and the highest placement this year is about 25 LPA due to the recession. Because of the recession, the percentage of students getting placed is low, and fewer students are securing placements. The top role is a software engineer.

I am not satisfied with this college as placements are decreasing every year.

Placements: Almost all students get placed, but the salary packages are very low. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The highest on-campus salary package rarely exceeds 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, etc. Most of the roles offered are in marketing and sales.

Crucial details you should know before taking admission.

Placements: The placements are decent, mainly with mass recruiters. The average package is around INR 5.2 LPA. The main thing is that if you are already placed early on and later a company with a better offer comes along, you will not be allowed to sit in on the interview, so others get a chance and more people get placed even if you are more qualified. There are no internship opportunities from the college; you have to help yourself. On the brighter side, the college administration is working to improve th...

I am not satisfied with its faculty members.

Placements: Our college showed that 80% of students got placed but in real 41% of students got placed in top companies. Nearly 55% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 70 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.40 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2.6 LPA. You can only work in offline internships if they are paying you a pretty decent amount otherwise this college does not allow you to do online internships. The course is not up to date, but our college has a good crowd and a good environment.

Placements: For placements, you require 70% marks. About 150 students are not placed in our batch. Top companies such as Amazon and Adobe only come to hire girls. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA. Maximum students get a salary package of 4 LPA to 6 LPA. Placements depend on your skills.
