AMC Engineering college review.

Placements: The batch for 2015 had good placements. We were visited by Infosys which selected 25 students, Tech Mahindra which selected 15 students. We also were placed in a pool campus drive. However once you are selected in any one of the companies, then you cannot participate in the next companies to visit your campus even if they offer a higher package.

Satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure and dissatisfied with the curriculum.

Placements: Placements are good, but we have to maintain 60% aggregate in 10th, 12th and engineering. A lot of companies visit, but the giant companies are Infosys, Amazon, Tech Mahindra etc. The college provides placement training before the placements. Majority of the students get placed who are eligible. The average package offered to the students who get placed is 2.5 LPA.

There are really good infrastructure and facilities available.

Placements: There are poor placement facilities for mechanical engineering students compared to other branches. There are no core companies for mechanical branch. Seniors also faced the same situation in 2017. Some of the students were placed in IT companies like Tech Mahindra, Infosys etc.

The college is good for an average student.

Placements: The placements in this college are good. Most of the IT companies like Infosys and Tech Mahindra visit campus for placements. The placements for the mechanical engineering students are very less. Toyota and Mahindra are top recruiters in the college. The placements for CS and IS are good. The companies like Google and Microsoft visit this college.

Overall, this college is average in every field.

Placements: There is an average rate of placement. Some company are fixed as they come every year. No core companies come to this college, so in the branches like EEE, ME and civil, students face a lot of problems and also they are not eligible for some IT companies. The placement training is good here.

If you have not got a very good rank in your entrance exams then you can join this college.

Placements: Around 60% placements are there in various companies. An average package is around Rs. 2.2 lakhs per annum. Most of the companies provide a job profile of the technical support. Placements are the last priority of this college. There are very fewer companies who visit for the ME, EE and EC students.

The college is average for PGCET students. For MBA and MCA, there are no placements.

Placements: As compared to engineering students, we get less number of companies for placements. All the companies will ask the eligibility criteria of about 60%, and unfortunately, the placements didn't help my friends and me. Some companies visit the campus to hire engineering students. The average salary package is about 3-4 LPA.

The college is okay type. Neither good nor bad.

Placements: There are no placements for mechanical engineering. No core company has been coming till now, and others branches like Computer Science and Information Science, electronics and communications only MAC companies will come other than that I didn't see any core company's coming to this college.

It is a good college for good students but could be better in many aspects.

Placements: The placements are fine, but when it comes to CSE branch, it is not up to the level. No good reputed companies take students. There are companies especially startups taking students. Out of 100 eligible students, 10-15 get placed. The placements in this year are not satisfactory.

The faculty are very helpful.

Placements: The placements are not available for the seniors. The companies are visiting for us. Til now nearly 8 companies visited. 40% of the students may get placed. The salary ranges from 1.8 LPA to 27 LPA. Many students take part in placements. There is a placement cell, and the placement officer takes the responsibility.

The best in class infrastructure is there on the campus.

Placements: Well, the placements depend on the grades, which need to be consistent per every semester. The maximum number of students are from the mechanical branch. The companies like Dell, Capgemini, Tata, and much more visited the campus for the placements. One of my friends got the internship in Google and placed there too.

Great faculty, good infrastructure, but the placements department needs to improve.

Placements: 8th sem has started for us, and about 2-3 students are placed. But, companies are yet to come. Till now, it hasn't been up to the mark. The coordinator works hard though. But, the good thing is our college tries to train us prior a drive. So, I will give 3/5. Overall, it has to be improved.

Fairly satisfied with this college, because I have learned a lot of things from here.

Placements: I'm in the 7th sem now, and till now, just 2 to 3 companies have come for the recruitment, but none for the mechanical engineering. But, very good training has been given to us for the recruitment purpose. Expecting more visits from the companies, especially for the mechanical engineering purpose.

I am satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placements are based on our merit. The companies like Infosys, Mahindra, and Wipro do visit the college. The training for the placements will be given in the college. Accordingly, many institutes attend the college, which helps us in building our profile. We get trained with software and get the industrial exposure.

Overall, the college is good to study.

Placements: Major MNCs like Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahendra and Bosch are the regular visitors to AMC engineering college during the placement season. Infosys and TCS recruit students in big number. The training and placement officers have good contact with many companies, and thus you can expect lots of MNCs visiting the college. The students who are eligible will be certainly placed. 90% students are placed in the campus placements. A lot of software companies visit the college, and the placement section plac...

Good college, but needs improvement in some cases.

Placements: Placements of the college are very bad. Most of the students don't get eligibility because of the percentage criteria. During the time of admission, they tell lots of good company names, but only few will come. Even if you get selected for a job through placement cell, you won't get any call letter from the company, and the placement cell asks to pay Rs. 2500 even after knowing that you didn't get call letter. In my batch, only two students were selected, and both of them didn't get call letter ...

Very good infrastructure and having good placements.

Placements: The placements are not bad in our college. If the students put more efforts on aptitude and little bit knowledge about C or Java, they will get into the company easily. Some faculty members take an extra class for the projects and internship, and it's very helpful for making final semester projects and also campus selection.

The college is not too good or too bad. It is an average college.

Placements: The placements are good, and we get some top companies in college, but you have to maintain a 60% aggregate in 10th standard, 12th standard and engineering without this you are not eligible for campus placements. The placements record is not good. Only 50% of them get placed in Infosys, Tech Mahindra. Those are the big companies and major recruiters. They give an average package of 2.5 lakhs per annum.

In the scale of 5, I will give 3 to my college as it is NAAC accredited and a developing college.

Placements: It is good for computer science and mechanical students other than these departments, it is not good. Most of the top companies visit our college like Infosys, Microsoft, Honey wel, Just Buy, Oracle and they will train for placement from the third year only, and the placement heads are too friendly which makes us feel comfortable.
