B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (3 Continent) - Batch of 2017

State of the art infrastructure.
Placements: They have a good placement record and I was placed well through the campus placement. Though the college does not provide internships but the placement cell works hard to get the best companies for interview and provide with many chances for the placement even after the student has passed out.
Infrastructure: It has the best infrastructure available in India with everything available ranging from entertainment to food services to lab equipments. The food courts are there in every block. For entertainment the have their own bowling area, snooker tables. The campus is huge with a huge sports ground, tennis courts, badminton, basketball and swimming pool.
Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable and helpful. Curriculum is similar to the top colleges in India. Many projects and assignments are given to keep the flow going and proper assessment takes place. Externals come for the Viva and competitive environment is given. Amity is strict with attendance and one has to keep minimum 75 percent attendance in each subjevt.
Other: Many events and groups are there including sponsored events.

Absolutely dissatisfied and very sad with worst faculty no placement, studies, and knowledge.
Placements: Amity University is one of the worst of its kind in India. They just brag about their international relations and all while the matter of fact is that there are no placements in the college as no student from my branch is placed yet. We are given BPO jobs till now, and only a few students from CSE branch on campus are placed and make sure you go around the survey properly as many courses in Amity University have 0% placement. Since past 7-8 years, till now no student from the civil engineering or mechanical engineering is placed in any company. The seniors are quite better last year, as 4-5 seniors were placed and don't expect any good salary after graduating from Amity as most of the BPO will be up here for placements are offering Rs 20-22,000 per month. After you have paid 20-26 lakhs as fees to Amity university and next to them are the sales job, the companies come down to hire us as a door to door sales person to name a few companies we had Xeno, Dyson, Zycus and all. The internship is something that we have to arrange for yourself and failing to do, so we will eventually fail in that semester. Many times we have to pay to the company to give us the internship, and no stipend is ever offered to the students. We have two placement cells in the college, one for university open for every branch, course and one for the department, but at the end of the day both of them are useless, and all they do is sit down around the year and enjoy booze in their office.
Infrastructure: The only best thing about the college is, it is situated on 150 acres. The campus is its beauty as it has marvellous arcadia, you have facilities like swimming pool, snooker, gym, basketball, shooting range, football, etc. name the sport and Amity have it. We have CCD round the campus with Dominos and wall mart, along with it we have 5 gates across the campus, and outside the campus, we have some of the famous food joins and trucks around the corner, we have some marvellous interiors for the school of business studies. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled which hardly works, and the classrooms are not of that great quality means obviously they are better than local colleges as we have AC around the campus, but the quality inside them is not that good. While if we consider the case of mechanical engineering, the labs are *** and reckless, no use of the machinery as they are outdated and not used in industry. We are never allowed to use any machine or any lab equipment all throughout the course. Don't rely on the college canteen, its *** better you get out of the campus and have a parantha from a stall on the road just outside the campus.
Faculty: The maximum of the faculty in Amity are PhD ( God only knows how they received their PhD), and none of the faculty knows how to communicate to the students and behave with the student. The faculty just visit here to mark their attendance and have the salary at month end. None of the faculty is keenly interested in teaching you or learning your doubt or helps you out rather they will always be there to take credit for your hard work. The faculty members are qualified, but not helpful neither knowledgeable. On a scale of 10, I would rate teaching quality as 2-3 at maximum. All the classrooms have projectors, so the maximum faculty members use PPTs and simulations in the classes. The student to faculty ratio is of 50-60 students of three branches in one class ( mechanical engineering, automobile engineering, aeronautical engineering ) and for the same, we had one faculty, so that's what I said you don't have faculty netherworld any support all you have to do it by yourself. Amity forces everything in you it's in you how to get industry exposure, we have to arrange internship by yourself. The placements projects on our own and at the end when we will be done, the programme leader will take away all of the credit. Amity teaches some of the shittest course all throughout the course. Me being a mechanical engineer, I have studied biology, law, sociology, behavioural science ( for all 8 seems ), German ( all 8 seems ), English ( all 8 seems ) apart from all the mandatory course, so on an average, we have 11-14 subjects + back papers every semester.
Other: We have some of the magnificent campus events in the college. Some of them even mark an international dignitary, its causal thing for Amity students. Once or twice every month there is one or another celebrity from Bollywood or politics marking their presence in the campus, a few of them were Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Akshay Kumar, Aditya Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Sonu Nigam, PMO India Narendra Modi and the list goes on. We have the hottest crowd in Delhi, NCR most of the beautiful and named personalities in Delhi circle are from the Amity campus. The surroundings are pretty cool as we have a bar down the road adjacent to a cremation ground. We have a metro station at walkable distance and some amazing food joints across the campus. The scholarship is something which you will only hear and never have it. The university brags as not for profit university which eventually aims only for profit. The scholarships are provided only to one student in every class who is above 95% in every examination. They are all useless, worthless extracurricular activities which go around the campus which have no vital use and any support from the department or the university.

Fully satisfied with my college's environment.
Placements: The whole placement was good except mechanical engineering branch. Placement was excellent for CSE and IT. Good quality of education was there but the placement was not as per the students expectations. Companies related to mechanical engineering branch were given the application form for placements but they didn't come into the campus.
Infrastructure: Awesome infrastructure and good quality of environment where students can enjoy their college life and have joy full experience of the college. the best library was provided to the students and each and every book was available in the library for the students so that they can study each and every subject.
Faculty: Faculty members were very friendly and cool. They had given a great and the best quality of education. They always used to teach us how can we achieve our goals.

I am fully satisfied with the college faculty, placements, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placements were good and about 90% in our batch and more were placed in the next batch. The highest salary offered was about 10 lakhs per annum and the lowest was 2.75 lakhs per annum. Google, Ford, Indian Navy, Motherson and much more were the companies which visited the campus.
100% students got the internship from college. The maximum stipend offered was Rs 30,000, and the lowest was 10,000.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is world-class as every possible and needed facility is available on the campus. Every sports facility is available here.
The labs are world-class and there are theatre-like classrooms also available which meet the standards very well.
The quality of food is very nice and really very cheap along with a buffet system.
I was a day scholar so I hardly know about the hostel rooms but according to my friends, the hostel rooms are quite well-furnished.
I never faced any infrastructure-related problem during my tenure in the college.
Faculty: All faculty members are really good and helpful, and all of them are having doctorate degrees from renowned IITs and the other top colleges of India. They are supernatural when it comes to knowledge.
The teaching method was very clean and up to the mark and if the subject is really tough, then there is also some extra lectures organised which is mostly held after the normal college schedule.
8:1 was the student-faculty ratio for our section, and I got the industry exposure as I got my internship letter from BHEL, which is not only India's biggest turbine manufacturing government company but also the world's most reliable company.
The course curriculum is really useful and it used to evolve every time here.
Other: The college is really good not only for study and getting a degree but also for the personal growth.
I am happy that I was the part of such a big university. I consider myself a lucky one that I got to graduate from such a good university.
The rules are very strict here and which helped me with everything. The college security is very good and no one can enter the college without the ID cards. A really nice college to start the career.

Other: Amity University has world class infrastructure and a high class living standard.
It has multiple blocks in which engineering, MBA, and almost every branch is available. The bad thing is that there are a lot of members who are not highly qualified. There is a problem of attendance.
You have to go to college daily to get attendance done.
If you want to enjoy your life join Amity University because the party is always going on.
