It's the worst college and course.
Placements: About 30% of our classmates got placed, including myself. But opportunities are mainly for engineering students. Top companies that offered opportunities are Zoho, EY, and TCS. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA-7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Mostly, data analyst jobs are available.
Infrastructure: Hostel life was the worst. Not at all hygienic. Some insects and chairs can be seen sometimes. There is a lack of nutrition. Other facilities are okay. Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are good. Lab facilities are also good, but not neat, I would say.
Faculty: They are very biased. Myself and many others experienced a lot of mental torture. They play with the grades. They are also not competent in the subject, which is Data Science. They learn from YouTube videos and mimic the same. The course curriculum was not that good. In interviews, most of the questions were Data Science-related. We cracked the interviews, but in the hands-on coding test, we failed multiple times because we did not get in-depth learning in coding. Database was one of the subjects for us. It only had theory in it. The exam contained coding, where we needed to write the code. A lot of improvement is needed in the curriculum. The final paper publishing part was the worst among all. Most of the students preferred to take Data Science-related papers to work on, but they said there were no guides to take up these many students, so they forced us to take Math papers. My guide published the paper with the first authors, which I worked on tirelessly. Overall, it was the worst experience.
Other: Fests and events are top-notch. We celebrated everything. Sometimes we have classes in the middle of events. Fest, especially Vidyut, is famous and fantastic. About our course, they need to update the subjects. They should provide hands-on training for coding. More Data Science faculty members are needed, rather than Math professors teaching by looking through the text.

I am satisfied with our college. The infrastructure and facilities are good.
Placements: About 75% of the students get placed from our college in various reputed companies. About 150 companies visit our college every year for placements. Infosys, TCS and CTS are some of the companies which visit here for placements. CIR training and special semester courses are provided in our college.
Infrastructure: Amritapuri Campus is surrounded by one of the most beautiful and picturesque coastal areas. The information and communication technology course provides leadership quality to plan and coordinate central IT resource and is responsible for upgrading and developing the computing and telecommunication systems on CPUs. Canteen and hostel facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are good here. The integrated physics programme at Amrita aims to train students in high-level theoretical knowledge and enable them to overcome complex practical problems in industries. Since mathematics, physics, chemistry and life sciences are fundamental courses. In this course, students will be taught a combination of all these four subjects during the first two years.

Experience in Amrita as a Telugu Guy.
Placements: If we come to the placement point of view, there are various MNCs which come here like Microsoft Amazon TCS, etc. And the average placement here is 6.3 LPA, and the opportunities for placement ratio is also good; for example, every 7/10 student get placements and the least is 4 LPA, and there are good local companies that offer a decent package .
Infrastructure: Classrooms are actually good, with decent competition, and the labs are good; they are good enough for a student, but coming to hostel food or maintenance, it's quite disappointing. It's very tough to handle people who are coming out of Kerala. I would prefer them to look for a PG instead of a hostel, and other things like Wi-Fi, etc. are satisfactory.
Faculty: Coming to the faculty, I am satisfied with this session because they are actually close to us, they maintain a good nature to be a good teacher for a student, they won't go on the toppers, and they back the students, which gives them a boost to compete with others in the class. When it comes to exams, they are really challenging and hard enough.
Other: The curriculum is quite interesting, and the nature (the university is full of trees) and the university are near each other, so it is an eco-friendly university, which makes me feel pleasant.

The college is very good in terms of culture and growth.
Placements: Our pass out batch saw some recruitments in companies like Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, etc. Training given in the soft skills classes played an important role for many students. For internships, our batch saw a plethora of companies like V-Guard, INA, Asian Paints, etc.
Infrastructure: Hostels are pretty well-maintained, and the first year ashram hostels provide a very good environment to grow. Mess food is average on excluding the fact that it is purely vegetarian. Canteens are good and serve a good variety of dishes.
Faculty: Teaching quality varied all the way from excellent to below average. Most of the teachers are more than willing to help us in any way possible. The curriculum spanned a good deal of the ideas and theories need for practical applications and is useful for the work later on.

Good infrastructure and qualified teachers for help.
Placements: Placements for our course has just started 2 years before. The first batch that faced placement had a few students who got placed. The CIR department of our college actively encourages students to take part in the placement drive and they provide a training during the process by arranging classes. We have now attended the test by Infosys and TCS.
Infrastructure: The college has a wonderful infrastructure and the labs and library facilities are okay. We have spacious rooms in our hostel and the mess food is satisfactory. We get only vegetarian food in the canteen. Medical facilities are also available in case of emergency. Sports are not that encouraged in the campus, still there are students who actively take up the responsibility and initiate different activities. Free Wi-Fi is available.
Faculty: Teachers in the Physics department are highly qualified and always willing to help. We have enough opportunities here if we use them. Curriculum is updated frequently and the reaching quality is satisfactory. Teachers encourage students to take part in internships and improve their knowledge.
Other: This course is an integrated programme and the syllabus is a bit tough. It would have been a lot better if we are given a bit more exposure. We have great events happening at our campus, Ammas birthday and Vidyut being the best among them. Ayudh group of the campus also arranges wonderful lectures for interested students.

I am moderately satisfied with the college, but it needs up-gradation.
Placements: About 1 student out of 60 students got placed in our course. Students had only one option, i.e., Federal Bank, which is not even the student's field of interest. Most of the students from our batch were interested in researched-based jobs, and even then, the students were only offered IT jobs.
Infrastructure: The college had many facilities for students, but still, they were not allowed to access or proper information regarding the accessibility to technology. In the library, most of the textbooks were available, but they were not enough for students to use. Hostel infrastructure is good, but still, it is not up to the mark. Food is adjustable.
Faculty: In the department of mathematics, teachers are not well-skilled to teach undergraduate students. They have appointed teachers who have qualified just M.Sc or even just passed M.Sc students with less experience in teaching, and due to which students suffered a lot in their higher semesters.
Other: The course I think can be improved by adding some programming subjects from 1st year as it is an important part of a career in today's time.
