A very good college with decent environment and a ragging free campus.

Placements: As per the computer science stream, placements are pretty good compared to our senior batch. Around 90% of the students who are eligible were placed till now. The highest package was 25 lakhs by Intrude. The lowest package was 3.3 lakhs per annum. Around 60+ companies came to recruit the students from different streams. The roles were different according to the company specifications. 50% of students got the internship from our branch, and the highest stipend is 30k, and the lowest is 6k.

Dissatisfied with the faculty but placements are good.

Placements: If you are good with some technical stuff and have some good grade, then it is easy to get placed in MNCs and also some good companies with good package. In 2015-16 60% are mass recruiters, 5% huge packages and remaining are good companies. The highest package was around 14 LPA.

Good placements, infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch are good. Almost 99% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered is 11 lpa, and the lowest package is 3.5 lpa. Almost all the core companies visited, and all the mass recruited companies also visited. The students will be offered well salaries and well professions according to their abilities. 98% of the students will get internships from the college.

A review on Amrita campus, Bangalore.

Placements: The college placements were good. The campus interviews are going on at Coimbatore campus. We have a track record of 100% placement. The faculty members will help us for interviews. They will conduct exams on aptitude and other competitive based exams, group decisions, etc.

Satisfied with the faculty, but dissatisfied with the placements as it is getting reduced this year.

Placements: The placements in our college were good compared with the other colleges. In our batch, 60 were placed out of 170, and more companies are coming up from January. The highest package offered by Arista was 14 LPA, and least was 3.3 LPA. Around 50 companies visited the campus. The roles are different according to the company, whether technical or non-technical. 30% of the students peered the internship, and the highest stipend was 30K, and the lowest is 5K.

I'm well satisfied with education here, but the hostel life is worst.

Placements: Amrita says it has 100% placements, but the fact is not only amrita, but all colleges have only calculated placement parameters on the people who are eligible. Here, we have criteria of 6 CGPA without backlogs and upon that it doesn't account people who do not opt for placements due to various reasons like higher studies. Now we have mass recruiters who take everyone, so if you are working smart and hard, you will have good companies in your hand, all you need is to maintain CGPA above 7.5 and g...

I am satisfied with the college faculty, good placements, infrastructure and facilities

Placements: The placements of my campus are quite good. They claim to get above 96% of the students placed. The highest package in Amrita, Bangalore is about 20 lakhs per annum. Good product-based companies like Microsoft, Caterpillar, Himachal Pradesh, Amazon, etc. do attend. But there is a condition that the students whose CGPA is above 6 can only attend placements. There is a soft skills department in our college which trains the students in English, aptitude, and personality development. The average sal...

My college life was the best of my life.

Placements: Most of them are computer science students. There were few core placements, but unfortunately, not many of them could surmount the eligibility criteria as it is difficult to maintain a decent CGPA. Many of the core branches visited the mass companies and are still waiting for the call letters.

An awesome infrastructure. A place to learn and grow.

Placements: The Amrita School of Engineering, as every year, offered almost 100% placements to the students this year as well. The fourth-year students got placed in Bosch and many other companies. Moreover, the college also has a CIR department which acts as some bridge between the students and the companies. The placements are pretty good at Amrita college.

Satisfied with my faculty but dissatisfied since IT companies didn't take mechanical students.

Placements: The college has very good placements for all branches. Most of the companies that visit our college are IT based. The core companies are expected to come for EEE and mechanical branches too. We will be provided good coaching for interviews. This year, we had 90% of placements. The highest salary package is 20LPA, and the least is 2.5LPA. We get companies to recruit for an internship also. We get a good number of mass companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra and core companies like R...

It's Amrita college, but not an university college.

Placements: The placements in the campus are 100 percent, but only a few are eligible for the placements. The evaluation pattern is difficult, and it is not easy to pass and sit in the placements. We should work hard, and in studies, the average student cannot survive, and they should have some basic knowledge.

Good placements record till now.

Placements: Nice record of placements for our college. About eighty percent of the students got placed in companies like Cisco, TCS, Infosys. The maximum salary offered is twenty-five lakhs per annum by Intuit to a girl student, and the least salary offered is three lakhs per anum. About twenty students got internships in Amazon and Cisco. Web developers and marketing jobs are being offered to our senior students.

The college is good if someone is really interested in engineering

Placements: The placements are pretty good. There are about 95% placements all the time in the university and I am placed in TCS. Every year, a lot of companies came to recruit student so the placement is not a problem. The college is known all over Bangalore due to its placement.

An extraordinary college with good placements. Decent infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Very good placements only for the eligible candidates. If you have 6 CGPA with no standing arrears then you have a job in your pocket. I got placed in a company called Mu Sigma. It gives a package of 21 lakhs for 3 years. It is a decent package. In the last 3-5 years, our college placements never went under 90%. If you get placed in the campus interview you will surely get the call letter or offer letter from the company. I know many colleges where people get placed in campus interview and don't...

A good college with many useless rules.

Placements: The placements were a bit tough when compared to last year. Many analytical companies are visiting. There are many opportunities for CSE and ECE branches. Core companies intake was very low (single digits). Last year placements percentage was around 95%, and the average salary offered was around 3.5-4 lacs per annum.

Learn, implement and grow.

Placements: Placements are good here. Those who deserve will definitely get placed. Companies like Bosch, Amazon, Cisco and General Electric have been coming for a long time. Mass recruiters like TCS and CTS also visit to take a large number of students. Students are supposed to go to Coimbatore for centralized placements.

I love the college though it has many rules and regulations. The college is worth joining.

Placements: If you have a CGPA above 6 after completing 6 semesters, you will be eligible to attend the placement drive. There is a 100% chance of getting placed if you have 6 CGPA. For my batch, the percentage of placements is 92%. The college has a great record when it comes to placements. There was also a batch of students which had 100% placements. CIR department works very hard to bring MNCs to the college and provide students with great opportunities.

Placements: For 2016 passed out batch, placements were very good. Almost 80% and above were placed in all streams. But most of the companies were for CSE students. But for some placements, we had to go to Coimbatore campus. Except for this, placement went very good.

Placements: For our batch, it was less than our senior's batch. The previous year, the average salary was high but now it has reduced. The highest salary offered is 19 lakh per annum and the lowest is 1.8 lakh per annum. Most of the roles are that of developers, consultant and network engineers. Placements: Placements were good, though I have heard that it has picked up really well over the years. The average package was around 3.25 LPA at that time. Mass recruiters were Infosys, CTS and there were other companies like Accenture, Ericsson, Caterpillar, Amazon, Microsoft, Tally, Mistral solutions, Microchip, Soliton and Sundaram Fasteners to name a few. Roles offered ranged from software engineer/development to technical roles in electronics and mechanical engineers. ...
