Everything is good in college.
Placements: Above 70% of students get placed in different hotels. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Taj Hotels, The Oberoi group hotels, etc., visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: Despite being an old building, our college has a good infrastructure. The campus is huge, and the classrooms are also in good condition. A Wi-Fi facility is available. The library is in good condition with many books. The canteen also serves good quality food, and the taste is also good. The price of the canteen food is also suitable according to the taste. The hostel facility is not available. Medical and sports facilities are good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are helpful. Teachers are good and well-qualified. They are not excellent but much good. They provide both practical and theoretical knowledge. The course helps in higher studies, and it also has a scope of going foreign.
Other: I like to do management because in this field punctuality plays an important role, so I have chosen this course.

Good infrastructure with good placements.
Placements: Amritsar College of Engineering and Technology is the top college in Amritsar with a very good placement record from the companies like TCS and Amazon for computer science and management. The hotel chains like Radisson Blu and Hyaat do come here for the placements which are very good for the hotel management students. Nearly 60% to 80% students get placed each year and from each batch which is a very good rate according to the college.
Infrastructure: While I was studying in the hotel management department, the infrastructure was very good. We got proper electricity back up, and the kitchens were very good. I can borrow up to 4 books from the library. They do provide some basic medical facilities like first-aid. Apart from that, even the Wi-Fi connectivity was very stable. The internet connection was good. The students are encouraged to take part in the games by the teachers, and I do not live in the hostel, but I know that it is good and secure.
Faculty: The experience keeps on changing as it depends on how good you are studying. But the faculty are very helpful. Some of them gave me their number so that I can contact them whenever I need their help. Since everyone has been teaching for more than four years, they are very experienced. The teaching methods are mixed. Some of them use books, and some of them use slideshows to teach us. I got the industry exposure here because a lot of industries come here to share their opinion as well as they do workshops on what is currently trending. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1 in my department.
Other: If I talk about my college, it has a better infrastructure than the other colleges. It is 10KM to 12KM away from the Amritsar city, and the college does provide free bus service to almost every part of the city. So the transportation is not an issue. Apart from that, the security is very good. The staff is very humble and ready to help whenever someone needs. A lot of competitions keep going on in the college which I like the most. It makes me interact with the other students.
