Candidate must have passed 10th grade or S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS, such as Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education(ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), 10th class examination conducted by various State Boards
of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
Candidates from NIOS/APOSS/other recognized examinations deemed equivalent to SSC by the A.P. Government must have passed all subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject.
Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March-2024, and whose results are yet to be declared can also
appear for POLYCET- 2024.
There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2024.
Candidates must be Indian citizens and residents of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra Polytechnic college, Kakinada.
Placements: Around 20% students were placed in my course. The highest package was 4 LPA from maruti suzuki whereas the average packages is 2 LPA, offered by companies like Coramandel, NFCL, suzuki, wipro and many more. All the students get internships from different companies in their sixth semester. Most of them are offered the role of assistant.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi but it is limited to faculty. It has very good labs and a proper library which consists of all the books from all the branches. Classrooms are good enough and quality of hostel is not good as it is maintained by private people. My college has a canteen and we have very good facilities for sports and games but no medical facilities are there.
Faculty: Faculty were of high standard as my college is one of the best in my state and they were highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was excellent and curriculum was provided by state board so it was relevant. It makes students industry ready. Semester exams were quite difficult. Pass percentage was 60%.
Other: I wanted to be an aeronautical engineer so I chose this course. It has very good opportunities in the government sector. My college conducts less fests but they are very helpful for mental health and physical health. Less students take admission in my course because of less jobs offered, so I want that to change.

I am dissatisfied with labs, faculty, atmosphere, and fests but it had good placements in 2021.
Placements: There are 75 students in mechanical engineering. The highest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Maruthi Suzuki, Coromandel Chemical Plant, and Medha servo drives are the companies offering jobs to students with good opportunities. Around 3% of the students got internships from mechanical engineering.
Infrastructure: There are not enough classrooms, and there is no equipment in some labs. Even we don't have Wi-Fi and there is a library which is not having enough books. Quality of the hostel is not good. There is no purification for drinking water, and the food served is average. Facilities for sports and medical are above average.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified but the teaching style of some teachers and their methods of teaching are not good nor understandable. Some teachers are helpful and are knowledgeable. Semester exams are difficult if you are not prepared well. Their invigilation is also strict. But some teachers are not strict in the examination hall.
Other: I opted for mechanical engineering as it is a very large field in engineering compared to others. No fests and extracurricular activities are held. The surroundings and atmosphere of the college are not good.

I am satisfied with the teachers, and they interact with the students closely to clarify doubts.
Placements: Around 40% of students were placed in India campus interviews. The average salary offered was Rs 20,000 per month, and the highest salary offered was Rs 34,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs 18,000 per month. Top companies visited our college like Maruti Suzuki, Servo Drives, and L&T. All students had internships in the best companies. The roles were junior associate, service assistant, and RND engineer.
Infrastructure: There was a library in our college which was open at all working hours of the college from morning to evening. All the books were available in the library. The facilities were not good, and the food was average. There were no facilities for the sports and games. The medical facilities were not available.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified to the student at any time to clarify the doubts. The curriculum was very helpful to gain practical knowledge regarding industrial wise. Semester exams were conducted very strictly, and around 40-60% of students were passed out.
Other: I opted for this course due to my father's interest but now I am very satisfied with this course, and I want to gain more knowledge. I want to improve myself practically, and the surroundings were good on the campus.

Technical teaching staff members are very talented, and placements are good.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students got a job with a minimum salary package of 2.5 to 1.75 LPA. Top recruited companies were Maruthi Suzuki and Shapoorji Pallonji. Internships are given in Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. The job role offered was a diploma engineer trainee.
Infrastructure: Labs, Library and classrooms are good. Wi-Fi is not available in the hostel. Grounds are available for playing cricket, shuttlecock and basketball. Indoor games such as table tennis, carrom and chess are also available. The quality of food is good and hygienic. Rooms are neat and clean.
Faculty: All faculty members are qualified and have good knowledge of technical education. Lab staff members are also very supportive while doing practicals and experiments. The course curriculum is relevant, and there is a 6-month industrial training for students to understand industry rules and gaining some practical knowledge.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in this course, and it was good. The annual celebration is good.

Our college is good at providing studies, but it is bad at providing facilities.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed in our course. In our course, the highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Hyundai and Medha are the top recruiting companies for our course. Almost 30% of the students got an internship in Medha company. Placements and jobs are valuable for the course.
Infrastructure: Our college provides labs, classrooms, Wi-Fi, computers and a library. Facilities available are not that good, and they are just above average. The quality of food is average, and medical facilities are available in our college hostel. Sports and game equipment is not plenty enough for us.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to us in providing good education. The qualification of every teacher working in our college is M.Tech, and the teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is much relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. It is good to understand by us.
Other: I have chosen this course because of its job opportunities. The best thing about our course is it is always value for money. The course content should be improved in our course. Events, fests and extracurricular activities are not conducted in our college.
