Dissatisfied regarding faculty but there is a freedom in learning process.

Placements: There will be at least 3 campus placements every year. 30% - 50% of the students will be placed for every year. The salary pack will be between 3 - 5 LPA. L&T, Wipro, Infosys will approach every year. Aptitude test will be conducted and then there will be an interview. There is a placement cell on our campus which is very useful.

Not a better college for an intelligent and aspiring student.

Placements: The placements offered are not as much as you expect. Only software companies can recruit the students. Almost, 10-15% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. The lowest offered is Rs. 11,000 per month. The companies like LnT, Wipro, and Infosys visited. The infrastructure is not much good. Most of the students go for the competitive exams like GATE, CAT, GRE, etc. as the placements and package are not good.

AU has the average placements, good infrastructure, and indifferent faculty members.

Placements: The placements on the campus are average. The CTC for the core branches such as mechanical, chemical, civil, etc., is around 3-4 LPA. Most of the students are left unplaced. Around, 50% of the students have to find placement for themselves. The summer internship is mandatory for everyone, and you have to find it yourself.

I was somewhat dissatisfied while joining the college, but I got used to like it more now.

Placements: My super seniors batch had been placed well with core jobs. Mainly, the Indian Navy offers the highest package with 9 lakhs per annum, and the minimum starting package is 3 lakhs per annum. Ship designing companies like Sb marine, Aveva, Vedam, etc., visit our campus. We all get internship offers.

Downfall of placements, good facilities, bad infrastructure and maintenance, unqualified faculty

Placements: The placements are decreasing year by year. The 2016 relieved batch get about 75% of placements and the next year, only 40% get placements. This upcoming year, there are no placements yet and the placement cell has failed in its duty to bring placements. The highest salary offered was 15 lakhs per annum and lowest salary offered was 2.4 lakhs per annum and the students offered organizing roles in conducting seminars and department functions and as placement coordinators. About 100% students get ...

Excellent faculty, providing a lot of information. There is a good exposure from libraries and labs.

Placements: There are fewer placements for our batch, and only one company visited for placements, i.e., Infosys. Three students got placed in a position of an associate software engineer, with a package of 3.25 LPA. One student got internship stipend of Rs. 12000. The biggest disadvantage in our college is regarding the placements.

Good college life, good for software placements. But very poor faculty, hostel and labs

Placements: Software placements are very good. Usually, around 22/30 students get placed on campus and companies like Wipro, Infosys and Accenture come for the placements. Working on aptitude a few days prior to placements will get you through the written and by speaking decent English can get you through the interview. The package is around 3.25 lakhs per annum for the software jobs. But for the core jobs, the package is very less. Usually, only 1 or 2 people get core jobs. For us (2016 revealed batch), th...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of lack of the infrastructure and hostel mess.

Placements: The placement drives have been good till now but compared to last year, the percentage has decreased this year. The highest package offered was 6 LPA and the lowest was 3.15 LPA. I can say that the average was 3.25 LPA. Companies like FTD, FactSet, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Hexagon, Aurobindo, TCS, Coromandel etc. have visited the campus till now. They have offered positions like systems engineer, associate engineer, etc. As for internships, the rate was less than 5%.

The college atmosphere is quite cool. This college is the top government college in the state. Everyone thinks the same that college is excellent but it's not that good. College infrastructure is average. This college is started in 1960's, so the buildings look old. Great personalities like Sarvepalli Radhakrishna, CR Reddy etc. served as Vice Chancellor's for this college. The college history is quite impressive. The sad thing is technology doesn't increase rapidly in this college, but now it's...

College atmosphere is decent, it is better for foreigners students to study at Andhra University.

Placements: It is tough to get placements but then we will get good recommendations. We will get support from concerned department head for sure. And due to the demand of Certificate from this university companies do offer good packages (out of the campus jobs). That is about it.

I am dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: Our college is 0% transparent in this process. During our studies, there were few companies that visited our campus for placements. No core companies used to visit us. The percentage of placed students was so low that it was not even shared publicly. In our course, the highest salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. The average package lies somewhere around 3.2 LPA -3.5 LPA. During our course, CSOT was the top recruiter. None of the students got internships. System en...

Placements: The percentage of students placed is very low that is less than 5% The highest package is 80000 and the lowest is nearly 10000 and average package is 30000 Top recruiting companies are HPCL Top roles offered are managers The percentage of students got internship is 10 %.

Faculty is better and placement are better when compared with other colleges the infrastructure.

Placements: Internships are not provided we have to choose it and placements are good but very less are being placed only based on their talent many big companies come for placements some times job not based on our course faculty is NIT more helpful for us but they even sometimes help us projects and many things are common.

It has good faculty and grounds for playing sports. It does not provide good placements.

Placements: Placements are conducted in the final year. Not more than 2 or 3 companies visit our campus for civil engineering placements. However, for CSE students, placements are better than civil students. The highest salary package offered was 5.3 LPA. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month.

There are poor faculty, placements, and infrastructure, but it's far better than any other college.

Placements: We got good placements in the past five years like Indian Navy, Mumbai Port, Cochin Port, etc. But now onwards, there are no chances for anyone to get placed in any shipyard through college placements. There is a little bit of a chance to get a job outside, and it's quite difficult. However, there is a scope in foreign countries. The jobs are also based on a mainly naval architect, which means planning for the construction of a ship, i.e., simply architecture jobs. If you want to work as a marin...
