    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is BE/BTech at Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences (ANITS) Worth the Investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from current students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

    * Infrastructure: The infrastructure of ANITS is good, with modern labs, Wi-Fi connectivity, and well-equipped libraries. However, the hostel facilities could be improved.
    * Teaching Staff: The faculty is generally experienced and supportive, with many holding master's or PhD degrees. However, some students felt that not all teachers are equally effective in teaching.
    * Course Curriculum: The curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented, preparing students well for placements. However, some students found the course load to be heavy.
    * Placement Record: The placement record of ANITS is decent, with many students securing jobs in top companies like Amazon, TCS, and Wipro. The average package is around INR4 LPA, while the highest package is around INR44 LPA.
    * Hostel Life: The hostel life at ANITS is average, with mixed opinions on the quality of food and living conditions.
    * Campus Activities: The college has a good atmosphere, with occasional events and festivals throughout the year.

Conclusion: While ANITS has its strengths, such as a good infrastructure and industry-oriented curriculum, it may not be perfect. Students may want to consider factors like hostel facilities, course load, and teacher effectiveness before making a decision. With a decent placement record and reasonable fees, ANITS can be a good option for those seeking a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Satisfied but need to improve. Too good placements, facilities.
Placements: On average, 65% of the strength will get placements. The highest package is 26 LPA in 2024. AWS, Drawinbox, Pinnacle, Moschip, Infosys, and other companies visit. Technical analyst, cloud support engineer, and engineer in R&D roles are given. The remaining will go for further studies.
Infrastructure: Only some of the teachers are from NIT and most of the teachers have done their M.Tech. Infrastructure is good, only as it is in a very small area. Our college provides B.Tech which has 9 courses: CSE, ECE, EEE, Chemical, Mechanical, IT, Civil, CSM, CSD. In hostels, 4 people per room with a bathroom, with mess available for both veg and non-veg. The non-veg options are specified only for certain days. Medical facilities are available for every student if he/she has a problem within the college premises because NRI hospital is beside our college.
Faculty: Most of the teachers' knowledge is not addressable for the students, but some teach very well. Some changes should be included, like including industrial tools in the curriculum, but in our curriculum, some tools have been included like Matlab. The semester exams are not that tough, NIT is not that tough. The pass percentage is 24/60.
Other: I got a 15k rank in the counseling, got this college, followed by the ECE branch, as it is a good reputation college, I opted for it. Events are not too much in our college. The fest is only held once a year. The campus crowd is okay, not too crowded. Connectivity is good, and campus surroundings are also good as each is near to us. Scholarship is provided by the government of Andhra Pradesh. There are no many extracurricular activities in the college.

    Placements are not so good.
Placements: The placements in the college are not good enough; there are very few placements. Most of the placements are below 8 LPA, so only a few students get the placements. But this year, the highest package is 28 LPA for nearly 8 students, whereas last year it was 40 LPA. The placements are decreasing .
Infrastructure: The course structure is good, which means the subjects thought by the college are good. The college has a central library where you can access many books, and we have a digital library but the hostel is not good and too expensive; there is no Wi-Fi in hostel .
Faculty: Faculty are experienced in core branches like ECE and mechanical but the faculty for CSD and CSM are not experienced and they are unable to explain our doubts. Most of them have recently graduated; the exams were held strictly and paper evaluations were too but they declared results too late.

    ANITS: Honest Review (School)
Placements: In my college, nearly 60% of students are placed this year. The highest package is 10.8 LPA, the lowest is 1.8 LPA, and the average remains somewhere around 4.2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Factset, Tejas Network, Inncircles, Infosys, Accenture, and Akrivia. Only 10% get internships. Mostly developer, QA tester, product analyst, and business process associate roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities of the college are good to some extent. However, Wi-Fi is not available. Please use Airtel network only, as no other network works in the college. There are enough computers in the labs. The canteen is also good. You also have the ANH beside it, where you can get medical facilities.
Faculty: Very few faculty are really good at core subjects and help you out. However, the faculty are always willing to help the students even outside the classroom. The coursework is irrelevant. You have to learn web development and connecting frontend to databases to make yourself industry-ready. You should do 3 or 4 projects before the placement session itself.
Other: I got this college in EAPCET, so I had to take this. The syllabus can be changed a lot more to improvise. The fest and events are the worst part. They literally do nothing.

    My college is simply superb.
Placements: We can be placed in the course through the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET rank. We should have a 10k rank in the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. We can also join this college through management quota, and the management seats are allotted through JEE Main score and IPE score. Amazon, Infosys, and many other big MNCs are top recruiters of our college.
Infrastructure: Coming to the college infrastructure, our classroom size is 60, and classrooms are too good. The labs are too good and are provided with all the apparatus required for experiments. And coming to the classrooms, they contain projectors to teach practically. Our college also contains a library. Coming to medical facilities, a hospital is available beside the college with good facilities. Indoor and outdoor games are also available in our college.
Faculty: Coming to the teachers of our college, they only prefer highly qualified faculty. Our lecturers are certified from NITs and IITs. They teach the students practically. Our examinations are very easy to attempt. The knowledge provided by our lecturers is enough to attempt the semester examination.
Other: I chose the Computer Science and Engineering course because, at present, this course is a highly paid course. This made me join this course. Skills in programming languages are enough to improve my course. Events, fests, and many other competitive programs are performed in our college. These are performed by our seniors, and anyone can participate in these events.

Expectation should be on yourself. College provides you anything but Certificate.
Placements: The percentage of placements is very less as of now. The highest package is 24 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA and Average Is 4 LPA. Amazon AWS, Accenture, Darwin Box were some of the companies. We are in the third year and were not provided any from them and everything we should try on our own.
Infrastructure: At present, we have Labs, Wi-Fi facility. Infrastructure-wise for the purpose of Academics is okay. For Sports, it is very bad, we are not having any Facilities in this, if you are a sports enthusiast then do not come to this college will be very much disappointed.
Faculty: On the first two years, Our Curriculum, teaching faculty were all decent, but in the third everything changed. Less experienced faculty were posted who are not much known to the subject are assigned which went wrong from then, semester exams are easy only but you should have interest to learn every day.
Other: I am a category B student so fee was. As the field of data Science is thought it would be a better option for me and joined course.

Admission to B.E./B.Tech programs at ANITS is primarily based on entrance exams like AP EAMCET for first-year admissions or AP ECET for lateral entry. Without these exams, direct admission is generally not possible unless through a management quota, where seats are limited and fees may be higher.
