Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

My college ACET and my future.
Placements: The placement rate at this college is about 50-60%. The average salary is about 5–10 lacs per year. Right now, the college doesn't give us more information about internships and companies.
Infrastructure: They have Wi-Fi but don't provide it to us. They have classrooms but they are mostly dirty and they just show that they are cleaning it. They have a library but no hostels, no mess, and no canteens.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are lazy and don't respond quickly to students. They have an attitude problem, and the quality of teaching is average. The curriculum is not industry-ready, and students are only given the minimum knowledge to pass the exams. The exams are not that hard, but some questions are on material that the teachers didn't teach. Passing marks are 25 out of 70.
Other: The teaching needs a lot of improvement. If I had to rate the college, it would probably get 2 stars out of 5.

Anjuman College Honest Review, Located in Central India.
Placements: I am pursuing Electronics and Telecommunication. Placement facilities are also good. I don't know about the highest package, but there are many who got a 9 LPA package, and many are in top universities worldwide. Companies like Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Every single lab is well-maintained with recent technology. In the computer labs, there is the availability of the fastest Wi-Fi. Hostel facilities are not available in the college. Anjuman is in the top list when we talk about sports in RTMNU. There are many sports opportunities, including indoor and outdoor.
Faculty: Mostly, every teacher is a doctorate (Ph.D. holder). The course is as per the university, but teachers and professors take the initiative to make students industry-ready by providing them opportunities like clubs, international languages (Chinese, French), and also arranging many activities.

Not really satisfied with anything about this college; I'm just surviving.
Placements: Artificial intelligence and data science are the new branches in my college. So 2024–25 will be the first year of placement for my branch. As long as you'll see all the other branches in my college, the placements are not too many, and even I am not satisfied with those companies and their packages.
Infrastructure: If we talk about the infrastructure, for our course, we have a classroom and a lab. The lab is better; it has too many computers with Windows 11, Wi-Fi, and even AC to keep the lab cool. But if we'll talk about the classroom, then it is the worst—not comfortable desk and bench, no AC or cooler, and even small.
Faculty: Faculty members are good in nature and also in behaviour, but I am not satisfied with their teaching. But yes, I can say one thing: it can actually get better. And we will talk about exams. The center we get to give exams is too far away from home.
Other: The crowd is satisfying, but the campus is to small.

Good college but it is not an autonomous college and doesn't have a canteen available here.
Placements: The percent of placed students is 20-30 %. The highest package offers 12 lpa and lowest package offered is 2 lpa. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, etc. Didn't have seating area for the students only garden is available to sit and relax but the guards didn't allow to sit in the garden.
Infrastructure: Anjuman College of Engineering and Technology is a good college but it is not an autonomous college. And we don't have any canteens available here. and no WiFi is available for the class. College is ok. My personal rating given to the college is 6 out of 10.
Faculty: Our teachers are so helpful, as whatever need we have, they give their best to us. Every teacher is well qualified with a PhD degree. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant to me as I learn many things.

Decoding Anjuman College of Engineering and Technology Nagpur.
Placements: If I consider out of 100 students, at least 50 to 60 students get placements, but students must be eligible for placement. If students don’t have the required skills for cracking the interview, they cannot sit in campus placements. You should maintain a CGPA of at least above 7 for college placement, as the college does not accept students with a lower CGPA.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility for first-year students. The classrooms are spacious. The college does not have hostel facilities. You will need to find rented rooms or PGs nearby. There is no canteen in the college, but you can find everything from stationary to snacks shops just outside the college.
Faculty: The faculty is very cooperative and helpful. The lab assistants are also very supportive during practical sessions. This course primarily provides practical knowledge about specific skills, and you need to learn additional skills by yourself to become industry-ready.
Other: I am a 2023 batch student. The college hosts cultural fests, celestial events, and other activities. It also focuses on extracurricular activities and has a section for scholarships.

This is a genuine review of my college, ACET.
Placements: Placement in this college is average and not above that. Only TCS and Wipro are known companies; other companies are unknown local companies that come for the placement drive. The placement cell here does not feel genuine, sometimes providing false information that could mislead students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is just okay, not that good. The campus is very small. There is no hostel facility available on campus. If you are not from Nagpur, you have to find your own accommodation, like private rooms, flats, and PG. Since the campus is small, there is nothing to explore in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members' educational qualifications are high, but they do not know how to deliver that to students. The attitude of faculty members is much higher than it should be. They do not have manners, like how they should talk with students friendly. In each semester, the faculty covers on average only 70% of the syllabus.
