Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Has experienced faculty. We enjoyed being in celestial. The garden was a good place to chill.
Placements: 60% of students got placed from different departments in various companies. 1.5 lakhs per annum was the lowest package, 5-8 lakhs per annum was the highest package, and 2 lakhs per annum was the average package. Infosys, TCS, Cognizant were the top recruiting companies. 80% of students got HCL internship. Production planning engineer was the role offered.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for the branch was not good enough. There were no proper classrooms and it was too uncomfortable to study in summer. There was a library where students can work on their projects or read books. The campus had network issues. There were projectors for E-learning. No hostel was there in our college.
Faculty: The faculty helped students in clearing their doubts. Lectures were qualified and experienced. They also shared their professional experiences with us. The curriculum was more theory oriented that's why for mechanical engineers it was a challenge to get a core job. Semester exams were very difficult. 70% students were able to pass the exams.
Other: I had interest in mechanism Better Infrastructure, practical knowledge, paid internships Celestial were fun.

Provided good placement opportunities.
Placements: Every student got placement and internship opportunities. Many MNCs were invited for placement. Some of the roles offered were executive engineer and design engineer. Around 80% of students were invited for internship opportunities. The highest package offered was 12 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: Each and every type of lab and library was provided with all the latest technology. Sports and games activities were organised after college hours. Every branch was provided with best computer labs. The classrooms were equipped with digital screens.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and always provided students with the necessary information about the subjects. Pass percentage is calculated for both internal and external examination. Students were provided with internal and external industry based practicals. All the teachers were knowledgeable and the teaching quality was the best.
Other: I chose this course because I was very interested in mechanical engineering. The college always organized fun learning activities. The course could include more industry-based practicals.

Review of Anjuman College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Not many students got placed due to lockdown in our batch. Placements in our college are good. Companies like Bajaj, TTEC, Cognizant, and several other companies visit our college for placements. Only a few students got placed, and from that few also very few joined due to lockdown.
Infrastructure: The campus is not huge as it is situated in the middle of a city. The good thing is the availability of everything is nearby, like the groceries and the food counters. The college also provides Wi-Fi, a library and sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers at our campus are very talented. Some teachers are very good at teaching and other social life too like they just don't give you lectures about the study, but also guide you on you personal level for good progress. Semester exams are tough, but you have to be prepared for them.

Our college provides quality education, along with average job placements.
Placements: Out of a batch of 60 students, almost 20 students got placed through on-campus placements. The salary package offered is in between 1.8 LPA-3 LPA in the mechanical branch, and for the entire college, it was 1.2-7.5 LPA. Some decent companies like Triveni Turbines, Plasto, etc., visit here for placements. None of us got an internship offer. The best role offered was the assistant engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure and campus were awesome. There were a library, lab and Wi-Fi facilities, and the canteen was fine. My friend used the hostel facility, and it was a small room, and mess service was private (outside). There was a ground for sports activities. Every year our college organises many inter-college sports events and exposure.
Faculty: All the faculty members in our department were experienced, and their teaching quality was very good. They had conceptual knowledge. We got practical knowledge which helped me in my job. Sohail sir was the best in terms of clearing doubts, and he always helped us. HOD sir was also very helpful.
Other: I got a decent score in the entrance exam, which are eligible for this college. So, I have chosen this college.

Less than 10% of the students get their dream job on the grounds of their UG degree.
Placements: The technical roles offered were for the position of graduate engineer trainee, whereas the non- technical had a variety of entry level positions ranging from business development associate to marketing trainee to sales executive and so on. On an average, more than one fourth of the students got placed during their final year where the highest package was 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The institute comprises of an updated library along with updated list of the international journals. The computer labs for each department is absolutely phenomenal with excellent internet connection. The classrooms are decent and the overall quality of the campus along with the associated amenities were exemplary and was worth praising for.
Faculty: The faculty members of my department were adept with knowledge on their respective field of the subject. Most of them are experienced ones, so they not only impart knowledge from the books but also wisdom from experience. The course curriculum however, is designed by the University, and is only of cursory knowledge, to be honest. I believe the desire to learn beyond books drives a student to get in deep with his area of expertise.
