Perfect college for CA students.
Placements: There is no direct placement service from our college for the B.Com course! B.Com is losing demand in the industry due to a variety of new finance courses. However, internship opportunities depend upon your skills. B.Com aspirants can work in many fields such as risk advisory, analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure facilities are very good. The college has a library, lab, gym, playgrounds, etc. Classrooms are spacious and good. There are two buildings. The buildings are renewed. This college does not provide hostel facilities. However, it has a canteen, but it's not open most of the time.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful. They always guide students about exams and syllabus. They are well qualified and are experts in their field. No, this course does not by itself make a student industry-ready. Semester exams are quite easy; one can pass by studying for one night.
Other: Crowd for B.Com mainly consists of students preparing for professional exams like CA, CS, as this college is attendance free. There are many events, fests, and activities that take place in the college regularly.

High cutoffs are there to take admissions in this college.
Placements: 6Lakh, 2.5Lakh & 4.5 Lacs are being paid as a maximum, minimum, and an average. Mahindra & Mahindra is the company from which the students get hired. 20% of my batch gets the internship. Accounts executive is the major career path after this course. But there are many other opportunities after this course, like stock trading, internal audit, and tax audit.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and the floors are neat and clean. There was no canteen, but there was the zero shop in the premises so that the students won't require to go out of the premises. There are lots of sports and games departments where both boys and girls can play. There is Kalakrida also going on in the college, where a person can join and participate, and later those who win get honors with the trophy and some cash prizes.
Faculty: The teachers were all good from a teaching perspective. Yes, after this course, students are well-versed with the industry. The semesters are not difficult, but we can say it's an average exam compared to competitive exams like CA. All the teachers are polite and hardworking. Whenever any student has doubts with respect to anything, the teacher will never deny, even helping with personal issues in a polite manner.
Other: To earn money, and I have an interest in learning the calculation and involvement of money. The campus is being kept.

The reality of Vartak College.
Placements: Very few students are placed. There are no placements offered. They do provide teaching jobs in their own college to the top students of the batch, but that's it. There are no top recruiting companies, but some people did get internships at small companies.
Infrastructure: There is no AC in classrooms, just fans that are really high up and do not provide enough air. There is no Wi-Fi either. However, the library is really big and well-maintained, with relevant books from different publications for each subject. There is no hostel, but the canteen has very limited food options.
Faculty: Some teachers are really knowledgeable and helpful, but some are just old students who passed their Bachelor's degree from there and got the job; they are quite close-minded. This course is very helpful for students who want to go into management fields. The exams are moderately difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I was really interested in the finance field, and in BMS, you can select finance electives in your second year, which are very relevant. There are no interesting fests for students to organize; just a few competitions are conducted in the name of fests, and the campus crowd is very uncultured and lacks sophistication.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty.
Placements: There are around 520 students in the B Com program, from various quotas including general, SC, and ST. There are about 120 students in each class. I spoke with a senior student who told me that good companies come to the college for placement and internship programs, which will help the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was not very good. On the first day of college, when I entered the classroom, I saw that some lights were not working, some benches were not proper, and the classroom was dirty. The playground was very big, but everything else was a mess.
Faculty: The teachers don't come to class most of the time, and when they do, they don't have any fixed time. To be honest, the faculty is not very good. Most of the students are only taking admission here for the sake of getting into college, and they are doing professional courses.

Good faculty and placement.
Placements: The majority of students were placed in highly recognized and well-organized companies, with an average package of 4 - 5 LPA for freshers. About 90% of students secured placements. Despite being in the COVID batch, which affected some students' ability to complete their degrees, overall placement outcomes have been good.
Infrastructure: The library is very well organized, with good infrastructure and ample seating. Labs are well-maintained, and Wi-Fi is available in computer labs. Each department has its lab, and classrooms are well-kept with a reliable electric supply. Sports facilities are above average, contributing to a strong overall infrastructure.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, and competitive semesters are well-arranged. The teaching quality and methods of the professors are exceptional, motivating a majority of students. The passing percentage is 35%. Teachers are very helpful, treating everyone equally and providing personal attention to students.
Other: Even though it was the COVID batch, we received maximum exposure and benefits. All classes were conducted online, but teachers ensured there were no compromises in the quality of education. They provided a well-maintained and organized schedule for all students.
