The WBJEE 2025 registration starts for Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology admission to the BTech/BPharm courses, and the last date to register is Feb 23, 2025. The WBJEE 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on Apr 27, 2025.
A few more updates are given below:
- The GATE 2025 exam is ongoing for admission to the ME/MTech courses. The next exam dates for GATE 2025 are Feb 15 and Feb 16, 2025. Further, the GATE 2025 results are scheduled to be declared on Mar 19, 2025.
- The MAT 2025 registration process for the Feb session is open for PBT and CBT; the last date to apply is Mar 2 and Mar 9, 2025, respectively. Further, MAT 2025 PBT and CBT will be scheduled on Mar 9 and Mar 23, 2025, respectively.
- The CAT 2024 result has been declared for admission to the MBA/PGDM courses. Candidates can log in and download their scorecards on the official website.
- JEE Main 2025 Session 2 registrations are open for admission to BE/BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses. The last date to apply is Feb 25, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam is scheduled to be held between Apr 1 and Apr 8, 2025. Further, the session 1 result is to be declared by Feb 12, 2025.

Satisfied with the faculty, decent placements in 2024, and good lab facilities.
Placements: Around 50% students of students got placed in our batch. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Channelplay, EY, Accenture, Calsoft, and other service-based companies. Top roles include system analyst, software developer, and various other roles in consulting firms. The highest salary package offered is around 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA. Around 60% of students got internships in companies like Channelplay, Trust, Keyence, and Keysight.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-organized. Labs are well-equipped with proper desktop setup and have Intel core i7 processors and Linux OS. It works very well. The library contains a wide range of books. It's just that students need to be interested and keen to learn new things only, then they can utilize these facilities to the fullest. Hostels are not included on the campus but one can find hostels and PGs outside the college area. There is no playground available. The campus is really small.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and considerate. They are there to help students whenever we ask for help. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They have a great teaching style. Students need to pay attention in class and try to have regular attendance to grasp the concepts well. The course curriculum is quite relevant. We have subjects like OS, DBMS, and computer networks in case of computer science and engineering. Semester exams are under MAKAUT and one can get through with decent preparation.

Good infrastructure, facilities, placement cell and the mentors are really good.
Placements: The highest package of this course offered was around 8 LPA. The lowest package of this course offered is 4 LPA. The average package of this course offered is 6 LPA. 23% of students got internships at other companies. After this course we can be good software engineers, data analyst and we would explore really great things.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is overall good. All the classrooms have projectors. There is AC in all the lab classes and also in the library. Wi-Fi is available in the classroom. There are 2 playing rooms in the college where every student can come and rest and enjoy themselves.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful; some teachers have done their Ph.D.s in their subjects and are really good at explaining by giving real-life examples. They not only give theoretical knowledge but they also give practical knowledge too. These courses are good to make students industry-ready.
Other: Many events and fests are organized in the college for student development. Many competitions are also held, which helps the students to show off their skills.

Those who are good at studies, come to this college. If you work hard in life, you can do anything.
Placements: 70 to 80 percentage of students were placed in our college. Some students go to higher studies, M.Tech, MBA, and research.
The highest package is 21.64 LPA in 2023 (BNY Mellon Technology) and in 2022 the package is 33 LPA (Amazon).
Top recruiting companies: Amazon, IBM, TCS, MCAFEE.
Students got internship 50-60%, with companies like Microsoft, Dell, Intel, Godrej, etc.
Top offers: Computer Science course.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, library, and Wi-Fi were good. Medical facilities and sports facilities are good, but the canteen food is not good. The college mess or hostel is average. Facilities were also good. Extracurricular activities like singing, dance, drama, and instruments.
Faculty: The teacher is very helpful, and the teaching quality is also good. The exam level is moderate. Passing percentage is 60 to 70%. The students make industry-level projects. In this college, teachers and facilities are everywhere to help. Teachers will explain everything you ask.

It's an average-looking college, not a big campus but classrooms and labs are good.
Placements: Almost 70% of students were placed. Package ranges from 4 LPA to 10 LPA. The top companies are TCS and INFOSYS. College provides internship to core branches but not to CSE-IT students. Internships need to be applied externally by these students. Besides this, the final year project also plays an important role.

Infrastructure is below average. Placement is decent. But the faculty members are good and helpful.
Placements: Approximately 60-65% of students get placement. TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, etc. are top recruiters in my college. The highest package in my course was 32 LPA at Amazon. The average package in recent years is approximately 4.3 LPA. Internships are not provided by the college, but one can be permitted for off-campus internships.
Infrastructure: No college hostel is available, but PGs and private hostels are available near the college. The campus is small in size. Wi-Fi connection is available. Classrooms, labs, and the library are decent. A digital library is available. The food quality of the college canteen is decent. A common room is available.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and qualified. The behavior of most of the faculty members is good. The pass percentage is approximately 60-70%. This college is under MAKAUT, and so exams are conducted by the university. The university sets the semester exam question paper.
Other: The campus size is small. Tech fests, cultural fests are celebrated. Government scholarships are sanctioned. The placement scenario is average.

Good faculty and good tech but bad campus
Placements: About 65-70% students got placements
The Highest package from on campus placement was 32 Lpa and off campus was 54Lpa. The Lowest package offered as I know was 2.4 lpa
The top recruiters were TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, tech Mahindra, BNY Mellon technology and thoughtworks.
Well I don't know exactly how many got internships but I think very few of them got internships from the college itself, most of the students don't get internship opportunities from the college.
Top role that was offered is SDE
Infrastructure: The labs are good to be honest, even if I compare the tech with other colleges in the city which have big campus but the tech is not up to the mark. The college has multiple wifi with average speed, but the cell network is weak in the college area, classrooms are average and the library is good and the college offers semester books from the library itself so u don't have to buy books on your own.
About the hostel, the college doesn't have its own hostel but there are many private hostels nearby the college, the food quality is below average there.
The college hosts good number of sports events which are also very good
Faculty: The teachers are quite qualified with most of them being studied from top universities of the country. But they are teachers in 1st year are not very helpful, like they don't answer with all your questions so you have to give efforts on your own
The course curriculum is relevant I can say it's same as most of the colleges
The semester exams are conducted by the university MAKAUT, so they are I would say medium difficult
Other: The only things you would hear the students complain about is the campus area, it's very small. And the college doesn't have its own ground so that's a thing I would like them to improve

To get admission to MBA course at MSIT, candidates need to pass graduation in the relevant stream to be eligible for admission. Admission to MBA programme is entrance-based. Candidates are admitted based on scores obtained in either MAT/ CAT or JEMAT entrance exams.
