Aradhna College of Film & Art (ACOFA) is a unit of AKSU Production Pvt. Ltd., which is a registered production house by Govt. of India. The institute is located in the heart of city and close to Bhagalpur Railway station. ACOFA offers internationally accepted media education in the field of film-making, photography, and advertising. On completion of the programme, students are certified by Aradhna College of Film and Art and AKSU Production Pvt. Ltd.
ACOFA offers two Diploma programmes which are in the field of Photography and Filmmaking. Both the courses are spread across three semesters with a course duration of one year. The course curriculum consists of all the basics to advance skills in photography/ Filmmaking. Candidates will be imparted theoretical aspects of DSLR camera along with practical work experience. Students are taught from industry experts and trained with industry-standard equipments and software. Throughout the course curriculum, students have to work on several practical assignments and attend many seminars and workshops.
The institute also offers short-term courses which are Basic Filmmaking and Foundation Photography. The course duration for both of these programmes is two months. In these programmes, candidates are taught the basic theory of photography/ filmmaking so that they are able to develop a creative approach in shooting pictures and recording films. The course curriculum includes the following topics: History of Film & Film Genres, choices in filmmaking/ photography as a profession, introduction to DSLR camera and its components, scriptwriting, storyboarding, lighting, sound recording, understanding exposure triangle, editing, and final project.
ACOFA also offers a weekend course which is Basic Photography with a course duration of two weeks. The course is designed for candidates who want to learn the basics of photography and enhance their skills. The course curriculum consists of all the topics from Basic Photography including Long Exposure Photography, Light Painting, Splash Photography, Depth of Focus, High-Speed Photography, Zoom Blur, Photo Editing, Silhouette Photography, Night Outdoor shoot, Framing, Composition and Angle.
