It is a very good college to study industrial fisheries.

Placements: More than 70% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Digha Seafood Exports Pvt Ltd, Mery Fish Traders, and storage. About 20% of the students got internships from our course in different companies. Top roles offered in our course are flutter developer, farm manager, etc.

Review of Asutosh College.

Placements: Our course does not ensure placements from the college campus, but most of them get placed after further studies. No internship opportunities are provided by the college in our course. I wish they had some internships available, but unfortunately, it isn't there.

There are good faculty members and infrastructure here.

Placements: There are no placement facilities in our college. However, students can opt for internships on their own if they intend to do.

It is one of the best colleges in Kolkata under University of Calcutta.

Placements: Around 40% of students were placed in our course, though it's a general course. The highest package offered is approximately 20,000 per month, the lowest package is approximately 10,000 per month, and the average package is about 15,000 per month. The top companies like Amazon, Flipkart and TCS offer good packages. Top roles like manager, salesman, etc., are offered by the companies.

Review of Asutosh College.

Placements: After B.Sc., placements are not possible. As per my knowledge, the college has a placement cell and that organises campus interviews to facilitate job proposals for the final year students. Students get quality opportunities to get placed in a different way.

A college with the best infrastructure in Kolkata.

Placements: Placements in the private sector are not good. Only Cognizant came to the college during my tenure. But many students got into IITs and NITs through JAM. But, the placement percentage is very low. Students get opportunities to study in high-ranked universities in their masters.

Review of Asutosh College.

Placements: Placements are not offered by the college for B.Sc. (H) chemistry students. But as per my knowledge, the placements are available for some kind of course. But, they maintain their quality of teaching. Thus, students get many opportunities to get placed in a different way.

I am satisfied with faculty members, infrastructure and facilities provided here.

Placements: Just pursuing a graduate degree won't offer students any campus placements. If you want placements, I suggest that it is better to opt for B.Tech degree and do not expect any on-campus placements from our college. However, you can get opportunities to apply for different jobs after completing the degree.

The college has good infrastructure and best laboratory facilities.

Placements: Above 30-40% of the student get IIT from IIT JAM exam for masters degree courses every year. Almost 40-50% of the students are qualified for other M.Sc, MA, MBA and other competitive exams. Almost 10-20% of the students have qualified integrated PhD courses from Asutosh College. Some students got various jobs in railway, bank and WBCS after completion of their courses.

It has excellent teachers with good infrastructure but poor placements.

Placements: There isn't a particular placement cell. However, for a few departments like economics and statistics, some companies visited here. The salary package offered is around 2-3 LPA. Although this year, the corona pandemic happened, so new job creation is nearly impossible.

No active placement cell is there.

Placements: There is no such provision of being placed since there is no active placement cell. A placement cell dedicated to particular department would be a good way to start with, especially who are looking for jobs and not higher studies. The provision of opting for internships isn't provided.

Asutosh College is an amazing college.

Placements: Nearly 60% of the students got placed from college. The highest salary package offed was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. ICICI Life Insurance and TCS were the major recruiters. Everyone got internship opportunities from our college. Assistant manager, supervisor and data analyst are the roles offered.

I am completely satisfied with the college but internships should be provided.

Placements: Placements in our college aren't offered till now. I don't have information about senior batches. No internships are offered. If internship opportunities are provided it'll be of great help to students.

It's a great experience to be a part of Asutosh College.

Placements: I haven't heard anything about placements as such. Since the college provides general honours course and it's not an engineering college, getting placements after graduation is not easy. The college provides higher studies in some courses. Students studying those may get placements.

Satisfied with college life. Nice atmosphere and resources.

Placements: There are no such companies which have MoU (Memendum of Understanding) with Asutosh College. Therefore there is no dedicated placement time of the year yet during my time two companies came to hire students from our batch but the salary package was very low. During the session break, many did internships but nothing from the college side.

I had a very good experience at this college.

Placements: There was not any defined percentage of students who get placed because there is no dedicated drive for placement for economics students. Two companies, like ICICI Prudential and HDFC Bank, visit our college to hire students for a sale role. The salary package offered ranges between 2-3 LPA. Many students do an internship during college days, but none of them was redirected by colleges.

Our college is very good with excellent faculty, good placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: Admission in M.Sc course is very good here, and about 70-80% of the students get placement. Students get admissions in Indian Institute of Technologies, NITs and other renowned universities in India. About 50-60% of the students got an internship in the universities.

I am satisfied with the faculty members. It is one of the best colleges to study economics subject.

Placements: The placement structure is very poor. Only a handful of students get placed after graduation. Very few companies visit our college for placements. Companies like TCS is well-known to recruit students from our college. The roles offered in our course is mainly of an analyst.

Our college has nice faculty members, good location and comfortable rules.

Placements: Very few students from our course got placed. The salary ranging from Rs. 10,000 to 20,000 to 30,000 per month was offered for jobs. Internships were also rarely available. ICSE visited our college for recruitment. Most of the students opt for MBA or post-graduation after graduating in Economics (Hons).

Absolutely satisfied, one of the best faculty for economics in Kolkata.

Placements: Placement is average here, some students are placed. But it has a separate career counselling and training programme which is available in very few colleges. This programme is very helpful for students as it helps them to find a job. It has a placement cell as well.
