A college, not much but worthy.

Placements: Most of my classmates did M.Sc. from other universities. A few did MCA from other universities. Some went for applying in government and bank jobs. Some started doing their own tuition classes. A few people from other departments got placed in jobs at Wipro and Tata.

Really good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Placements and internships are very common. Good top pharma companies come for the interviews. The highest salary offered is 20000 and the lowest is 5000. Roles were mainly as analysts and coding jobs. Placement cell though is not Very useful. 20% people opted for jobs other 80% went for further studies as in Masters.

Good placement and infrastructure but average at office handling and slow at work.

Placements: The placements in the college are moderate, and people get in through the placements. Companies such as Wipro comes often. As I am still a student, it is difficult to note the stipend, but the salaries vary from the students and the company. About 30%-40% get the jobs through the placements.

The college taught me how to deal with most of the problems in life.

Placements: While I never took part in the placement fiasco, but, as far as I know, there was no such placement activity during our year. Most of the students were involved in the off-campus placements in places like Wipro and TCS. There is no such thing as "placement" that I have seen at our college.

Good infrastructure and facilities and good environment to study but not so good for placements.

Placements: According to my seniors, placement of this college is not like other private colleges, but better than other semi govt. colleges. Employers like TCS, Tech Mahindra offers a job. The average salary was Rs. 25000. Almost 5-6% were placed, mostly in TCS from computer science dept. About 10% students got an internship in Inspire, a program by DST, India. A stipend of almost Rs. 5000 was offered.

My experience of Asutosh College is still so alive. Such great days I have spent there. The professors are nice but also strict while teaching. Though, the college does not have great placement opportunities but that is not a problem after you got passed from the college.

Professors are very approachable. It has one of Kolkata's best Faculty Members. Attending classes has become compulsory now, especially for the students of Honors courses. The Professors help you with the projects, hence it becomes easier. However, apart from studies, curriculum activities are not very active. Politics rule the college. It provides admission to students with very high percentage, hence the academics are quite focused.

This is a government college in Kolkata, near Hazra metro station. It is under Calcutta University. Campus life is not so good, but there are many specific courses available which are not available in other colleges. Faculty is excellent. Computer Science department is on the opposite side of the main building.

This is a good college affiliated to University of Calcutta and located in Kolkata. Both the Science and Arts streams are very good and quite renowned in the city. Having spent three years here, I can say that the faculty members are very good and proficient. In spite of the absence of what we call a proper campus, it provides a nice student life and recently, it has set up a new campus and has started Master degree courses. The college fests are very good and attracts other colleges in Kolkata ...

Best experience in college.

Placements: I am a student of the BA MDC course. No placement is provided in this course, and you have to pursue higher studies to get a job. Jobs are available in government sectors, banks, and other fields. Many people take private jobs after completing this course, but many find jobs later. Our internship opportunities are limited.

The faculty is strong enough.

Placements: Around 10% students were placed in my course. As it is a subject oriented so there are hardly some chances to get an opportunity from a private sector.

Asutosh College in my opinion.

Placements: Companies like Infosys, TCS, ITC visited the college and provided job opportunities. Most of the packages start from 240000 LPA, and on an average around 80% students gets selected during campusing. I have plans for higher studies so I may not attend the interviews.

Our college has excellent teachers and a good environment which will lead to a spark in the future.

Placements: Placements at this college were not so good. They didn't even promise placements. Studying a general subject in a government-aided college would give any of us a good on-campus placement experience. Though we got some offers from companies after completing our degree. The salary packages were 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Top roles were offered mainly in data and business analytics.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: In our college, there are no placements but many industries come here to give you a training session regarding your course which will help you to get a perfect job after graduation. The main roles offered are HR and digital marketing which are given by the college for pursuing.

It is a good college as well as learning point.

Placements: The college does not provide placements, because this was a government general college. If students go for government exams, then they should be prepared well.

It's a good college overall.

Placements: The placement facility in Asutosh college is very poor in mass communication and journalism department, as it's a government college. But there are several courses that are offered like "skill enhancement course". If someone is thinking to join Asutosh college for placement, I would suggest not to.
