Feeling grateful of being a BJBian.

Placements: Our senior batch students were placed well as teachers, and many received PG at good colleges like JNU, DU etc. The atmosphere has a great opportunity for coaching session for courses like railway, banking etc. So many of our seniors opt for PG or for coaching for IAS, banking, railway etc. Students of our college have been established as great teachers that shine over the name BJB all over Odisha at topmost B.Sc college.

Good placement and future prospective.

Placements: The higher percentage with above than 80% marks securing students get the admission here. There is also a quota for the physically disabled and the minor societies. Many companies from Odisha and outside Odisha also came here for the internship. For the student's betterment, it is one of the best colleges in Odisha.

Average and still needs improvement in every sector.

Placements: There are off-campus placements coming to the college. I also got into Capgemini through off-campus. In M.Sc. period, some on-campus drives are also coming to the college, but mostly you can say that you will be placed through the off-campus only. The professors share the link of the off-campus so that you will get all the information from the college itself.

It is a good college, it has good faculty members, clean surroundings, but, can do a lot better.

Placements: The placement opportunities at BJB are meagre. Seldom do they come. And, when they do, it's mostly by local companies. In our batch, there were no placements. In our senior batch, some companies came. And, I think hardly 10 students got placed or less. Sorry to say, but there's no placement cell in our college. At least, not until the year I was there. As of now, I don't have proper information regarding the same.

There is really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placement of BJB Autonomous is quite okay. If you have done excellent on the exams, then there is an assurance of getting a very good placement. Various companies like TCS and from banking sectors as well as from government sectors also visit for placements.

The college one should select for.

Placements: There is a placement cell in the college which deals with the companies coming for the candidates. Generally, for the art students, there are not many provisions except BPOs. Whereas for the science and commerce students there are companies like TCS, etc., visit for the placement. The highest salary goes around Rs. 18,000 per month, and the lowest offered is Rs. 7,000 per month. There is no provision of internship in undergraduate level in my college.

It is not just good, but it is one of the best colleges in Odisha.

Placements: You get placements according to your own merit. The fame of the college is due to the quality of students, so it also provides some additional help. Many students of my batch and previous batch got good placements. In the campus, the placement is absent. But as compared to other colleges its one of the best.

Good curriculum and good college life.

Placements: As per seeing the senior batches, I know that the students having a good career percentage are eligible for the placements. They should also score well in the semesters. After some rounds of test and interview, the students who pass all the rounds are given the required placements.

The experience was average. Faculty were good but placement in 2015 was not up to the mark.

Placements: The placements offered were average. Many companies visited the campus but with less package. TCS, Infosys, Shoppers stop, Wipro, L&T and some companies visited the campus. They were providing back office role, BPO, KPO and business analyst role. Minimum 20-60% of the students got placed. The average salary package offered is around 2.5 lakh per annum.

One of the best government colleges in Odisha.

Placements: The placements offered were good. The senior batch students almost were placed. Myself have gone for the higher education. M.Sc in IIT Chennai. Overall it's good. The salary package started from 25-30k per month and ranged up to 50 k per month. Almost 60% of the students got an internship from the college. There is no specific idea about the stipends. The annual scholarships were given, and meritorious students were rewarded.

Good placements do come, and it just depends on the student.

Placements: The lowest salaries generally offered for B.Com students is Rs. 9,000 per month, the highest is Rs. 20,000. The companies mostly prefer B.Com honours, then comes B.Com with management honours. These jobs are mostly coming to the college. The placements are done well in our college, and many renowned companies are coming to our college, such as Infosys, Tata, and others.

BJB Autonomous College is one of the most reputed colleges in Odisha.

Placements: Placement facility is good in comparison to other degree colleges. Every year, hundreds of students get an opportunity at the placement cell. Salary offered by companies is n't good in starting. Annual campus drives were organised in association with organizations like IBM Daksh, Genpact, TCS, SBI etc. Students get an internship by a programme. MFC is a two-year self-financing Master degree programme in Finance. Students get scholarships from Prerana, Medhabruti etc of around 10k in 3 years and...

Absolutely satisfied because of good placements, lab facilities and good faculty.

Placements: Students are placed in Capgemini, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra etc. through some off-campus placements which are held at different colleges. As freshers and BSc graduates, they are offered a handsome salary of near rupees 17000. Every year, almost 3 to 4 students were placed. No companies as such visited the campus for placements. Students are hired for software tester and developer posts. No such students got internships at various brands. So no stipends were offered to students. ...

The college needs to be developed in infrastructure. Good in study environment. The college need to be focused because it is the only autonomous college in kandhamal district. There is need to fill up some lecturer vacancies as soon as possible. NAAC must keep the eye upon continuous development as kandhamal is backward area of odisha, education should be focused here.

Placements: Placement are normally off campus and the procedure here is easy. You have to always check the notice board for this but ultimately you can ask the teachers for guidance. They'll recommend you for the jobs and placement coming up in the estimated time . And best for you

Good faculty and above-average college life.

Placements: The placement at our college is very decent. The college provides a good scope for internships. Mostly, students opt for UG courses because it offers programs like B.Com, B.Sc., and B.A., and it is rich in experienced faculty members. Around 75-80 percent of the students secure internships.
