Placements: College is not offering a good placement. You have to search job by yourself after graduation. The chances of students to place in good company is less. The average package you receive is between 2 to 3 lacs. Other than placement all other facilities are fantastic in college.
Placements: I'm currently studying now, so I can tell you about the placements of my senior batch. Some companies come here for placements like ICICI Prudential Insurance, Aditya Birla Group, Tycoons, Birla Vanya and Mumbai NEST etc. Around 15% of students got internships and placements. The top roles offered by companies are sales and marketing executive, BDM, BDE, HR and finance interns etc.
Placements: Placements are not available in Birla College for B.Sc in biotechnology. However, our college makes students industry-ready by providing good lab skills as well as teaching theory well. For M.Sc course, our college provides placements. When students pass out from our college, they will have vast knowledge which is helpful to grab jobs in the industry.
Placements: The highest salary package offered in our college is 3.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.1 LPA. ICICI Prudential, SKS Ltd, etc., visit our college for placements. Many students got placements, i.e., about 75% of the students. About 3 companies visited our college for placements and offered different salary packages to students.
Placements: Everybody in our batch opted for further studies. There were placement but not related to the course. Neither they were good. But they offer some internship programs. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month. Companies like Hexaware, Jio and IKS Healthcare visited the campus for recruitment during our course.
Placements: Only 10% of the students were placed on their own as our college invited only one company for campus placements. Others had to manage on their own. The salary package offered was around 2 LPA. Only Capgemini was invited by the college for both B.Sc IT and B.Sc CS courses. There is nothing for B.Sc CS.
Placements: The placements were good 2 years ago. But now the placement chances are very less because college has become autonomous. Companies like capgemini, wipro, Infosys & L&T visit the campus for placements. College is not bothered about students after getting autonomous status.
Placements: About 60% of the students got placements in reputed companies in India. The minimum salary offered starts from Rs. 10,000 per month and increase high depending on the resume of students. Jobs were offered in domains like sales, accounting, etc. Infosys, L&T, etc., are the major companies which offered jobs and internships in our college.
Placements: The placements were good 2 years ago. But now the placement chances are very less since the college has become autonomous. Very few companies are visiting from last 2 years. Previous year only a Pool Campus was held for our department in the college. The college is not bothered about students after getting autonomous status.
Placements: The placements are good for the students who prepare well for the interview process. Companies like Capgemini and Wipro also visit the campus for placements. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, but the college does not conduct any special classes or sessions to train the students for placements. The placements take place in February.
Placements: There are no placements that you will get directly from Birla College. Not a single company visited the college for hiring the students. No jobs will be offered from college to any students. Every student has to get a job from outside. There are no internships and placements from this college.
Placements: Capgemini and LTI were some of the companies that came here for campus selections. As it was a pool campus drive, a large crowd gathered in one place. From Birla college, about 20-25 students got selected and offered jobs. The campus selection process was a good experience to all students.
Placements: Placements are the most crucial part or step in every college student's life. Birla College is a good platform for job-seeking students. Capgemini, Birla Sun Life, Eclerx and many more companies come for campus interviews. Not only campus, but also by various corporations like Times of India, Birla Sun life etc. give assistance for the internship programme too.
Placements: Till now, only one company has come for campus recruitment, and that is Capgemini. 20 students were selected for it. In the 2nd week of February, L&T Infotech will visit the campus. For senior students, the companies arrived for placements were TCS, L&T, Mahendra Tech and Infosys. The campus recruitment process, which I have experienced for Capgemini was average. We had to wait till 10:30 pm for HR round.
Placements: Atmost 20-30 students get placed every year on an average. Placement are done on the knowledge and skills of the student who passes out. Hexaware, Accenture, Wipro etc are the major companies who select the students. Average package starts at 15000 and varies till 25000.
Placements: Placement of our batch was really nice, because I was selected for Larsen & Toubro Infotech. 23 were selected out of 120. Highest salary offered is 2.48L per annum by LTI and lowest by TCS at 1.96L per annum. Companies like Larsen & Toubro Infotech, CMS IT, Infosys, TCS are there. Associate trainee is the position offered.
Placements: The placement cell is good. They do provide placements. The entry criterion for placement is as decided by the company. L&T Infotech visited our campus in the month of December and recruited 23 students of IT branch. Later on, in the next month, CMS visited the campus and recruited 3 students. The placement cell also lets you know if there are any pool campuses in other colleges. So we also visited TCS and Infosys interviews.
Placements: At the end of the academic year and before few months of final exams, our college used to arrange campus selection for reputed companies. Highest salary offered was 2.5 lac p.a. and lowest was 1.32 lac p.a. Many companies visited but to name a few, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro were few of the reputed and well-known companies that selected many students. They selected many students as programmers, coders, IT technicians etc.
This college is overall good but the crowd should be more decent and they should restrict the outsiders who enter the campus. They can concentrate more on the parking facilities and the ground infrastructure. The faculty team is excellent related to my graduation in B.Sc Zoology, and the HOD and principal are equally involved with the students individually. The office staff members here are equally supportive as well.
Birla College of Arts, Science and Commerce is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The college is located within the city and is 15 minutes away from the Kalyan station. It is a 12-acre facility and has an art circle linked to the Marathi film industry. Actors from this industry keep visiting the college for tips on dramatics. The college for the 11th and 12th courses, that is the junior college, is one of the best. The crowd consists of aspirational and ambitious students. It is the best co...
