Really good infrastructure and facilities. The faculty members can improve.
Placements: 40% of students placed. Liferay, TCS, Fifty-Five Technologies, Genus, Secure Meter are the top companies. Roles offered include Frontend developed, Backed developed, Android developed, Testing, etc. The average package is 4lpa. Internship is not provided.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure of the college are good. Labs, Library, and Classrooms are well maintained. The college has Wi-Fi connectivity. The hostel is nice, the rooms are big, and various sports are available. The quality of the food is average like all the hostels.
Faculty: The faculty is average. Few teachers are very quality regarding knowledge while the others are average. All the teachers are well qualified. The course curriculum is relevant and yes it prepares the student industry, but the student needs help from outside to upskill them. The difficult level is good. 90% of the students pass the semester.
Other: I've always been fond of computers, so I chose this course. The best thing is the results after the intense coding. I want to improve the practical learning rather than the theory part. The college has two major fests. A sports fest and a Major entertainment fest. There are a few clubs that host their fests as well. The crowd is average. The college is in a town so we don't get the city exposure but it's good.

Satisfied with the faculty members, good placements, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placements in our college are getting better day by day. From our batch, around 62 members grabbed the opportunity in the placement drives. The highest package offered to one of our seniors was 10 LPA last year. Now, it is our 7th semester, many companies have conducted placement drives for both technical and non-technical profiles. The roles offered are technical staff, application engineer, software quality engineer by Hexaview Technologies, and these are offered to 5 students this year. The company named Profit India has offered the business development role for 39 students, and IMS Jaipur has offered junior recruiter role for five students. The company named InfoObjects has offered for software trainee role. The college has a placement cell, and they are trying their best to make sure that every student gets placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Classrooms and libraries are well-furnished. Medical facilities are available in our college. A separate sports complex is available. The college organises a sports fest named Quasar every year. The college provides Wi-Fi facility in library and hostel as well. Labs are well-equipped. Quality of food served in the canteen is good. The campus has six hostels, four hostels are for boys, and two hostels are for girls. Triple, double and single sharing facilities are provided. I am not facing any infrastructure related issues.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good. Some teachers have completed their PhDs, and some are pursuing PhDs from BITS Pilani. Teaching methods are good. They give us assignments and look after every aspect of the student quality. The course curriculum is useful.
Other: Our college organises a sports event named Quasar every year. The college fest called Basant is celebrated for 3-4 days. The college has student chapters like IEEE, IFERP, BIC, ASME, ACM and CSI. Our college has collaboration with universities in French and Bangkok, and they provide an opportunity for the students to go there and complete their internships so that they get good exposure.

BK Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology is a mesmerizing engineering college in Pilani.
Placements: As I am only in the 3rd semester, no one from my course has been placed yet. However, as a placement cell coordinator, I can provide information about it. Approximately 65% of students have been placed this year, and there are still companies coming for placement drives. The students who did not get placed had backlogs in their earlier years. For this placement year, the minimum offered package was 5 LPA from Secure Meter, and the highest package offered was 16 LPA from Samsung R&D. Top recruiting companies in my college include Secure Meters, Genus, GramPower, Byju's Learning App, HexaView, Samsung R&D, VMware, GrapeCity, etc. Almost 70% of students are offered internships, and 10-15% of students receive multiple internship offers. All internships are paid, with varying stipends and perks. The majority of students are offered the role of Graduate Engineer Trainee, with training provided for a specific duration before moving on to their respective roles. For IT and CS, most students are offered the role of SDE-1. Some are also placed in front-end or back-end development roles.
Infrastructure: The institute's infrastructure is decent, with four campus blocks for classes and libraries. The labs and library are Wi-Fi enabled, and students can obtain Wi-Fi IDs and passwords for the entire course by paying Rs 100. However, the classrooms lack Wi-Fi, smart boards, or projectors, which are essential for an engineering college. The classrooms are airy with ample natural light throughout the day. The labs, especially for programming or computer labs, use outdated components, and only 40% of the computers are functional out of a total of 150+. Labs for electronics and electrical engineering lack essential components, causing students to wait for circuit boards or GATE ICs. The hostel infrastructure is decent, with three blocks in both boys and girls hostels. Students can choose double or triple sharing rooms or single sharing rooms. The quality of food in the hostel is poor, and many students prefer eating from the canteen or night canteen. Hostel maintenance is also subpar, as evidenced by a recent three-day power outage.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, skilled, and experts in their respective subjects, with each teacher being an assistant professor or professor. They strive to make students feel comfortable and foster an understanding approach to the subject. However, the university or college mandates completing the syllabus in 40 lectures, leading teachers to focus on syllabus completion. The course curriculum is up to the mark, and teachers guide students to become industry-ready. Despite this, the library books are not relevant to the syllabus, requiring students to refer to multiple books for a single unit. Semester exams are moderately challenging, depending on individual preparation. The passing percentage is 53%, with few students getting backlogs in 1 or 2 subjects, and hardly 2-3 students failing in all subjects.
Other: I have been preparing for officer entries in the Indian defense forces. I chose engineering to open three additional entries for me to join the forces, making me eligible for Airforce flying and technical branches. If, for some reason, I cannot join the forces, I will have a good placement as a backup. The best thing about this course is its professional nature, teaching practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge. My course is generally good, with no significant drawbacks. However, the curriculum could be improved by adding more programming languages, reducing dependence on external sources like YouTube or paid courses. The institute hosts various events throughout the year, such as BASANT (annual fest), QUASSAR (sports event), SWAR-SANGAM (arts fest), and ANANTAM (teach fest). Multiple hackathons, marathons, and fun activities are organized, along with music, dance, and other clubs. NIRMAAN, an NGO at the institute, works for the welfare of underprivileged children.
