B.E. in Computer Science Engineering - Batch of 2022
1.2

I don't recommend this college. It's better to choose another college in Thane.
Placements: The placements in our college are very bad. Don't even expect to get knowledge in our college. We had to go and wander everywhere looking for a job. But we had no knowledge. Then we had to take another course from a training institute, and then, after that, we got a job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good but not well-maintained. Our college is far from the station.
Faculty: Some teachers do not respond to text messages. They will not even direct you in any other direction. Our HOD even blocked a college group for those 3 years (DSE) of degree work. Please don't go to college after Thane. Do not list them. Even if you get them, you won't even go to college.

I am satisfied with this college because the faculty members help a lot in orals and unit tests.
Placements: As it was a newly established college, mostly placements will be from nearby small companies. As college was situated in the village area, and none of the companies try to visit there. Students can try off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for hostel was good. But hostel was 1-2 Km far from the college. It provides bus facility and will be picked up and dropped daily. The building was good and fully glass finish. The washrooms were good, and it feels like premium homes. Most of the students were impressed with washrooms.
Faculty: Faculty members for mechanical engineering were average, and depends on how many students were attending the lecture. Many students mostly bunk the college due to train timings. As the college was situated 4 km away from nearby Vangani Station, and train timings had a 1-hour gap after each train. So most students go early as they come from far places.
Other: Every year fest was held, and it was enjoyable. Many students from medical and other branches meet up. Even tech-related competition was also arranged. The 10-15 days of the fest were enjoyable. Sports, computer gaming, robotics, etc., many were arranged. But sometimes due to budget problems mostly were canceled.

All about B. R Harne college of engineering .
Placements: Hello guy I am from 2022 pass batch student nikhil singh
The college has no campus. As this is a new college by Mumbai university the companies are yet to come
But if we get the job the pack is around 1 Lacs to 2 Lacs only so placement you have to look outside the college .
Infrastructure: There are very less computer in lab
There is no graphic lab so you can not draws Engineering graphic subject drawing so it also very hard to understand
The Wi-Fi connection or the internet connection is very bad
For calling you also have to go outside of college .
Faculty: The courses n subjects inculcated by the college are absolutely superb and upto the point for making me a better civil engineer. The topics are exact. The syllabus is exact. The practical exams conducted by the college are superb n damm knowledgeable.
Other: We have festival named as mudra which is just after diwali. We have techno fest, sports and cultural events in it. And a celebrity is called upon every year of the last day of cultural fest. The total fest is for around 2 weeks. Lot of various activities n other sports are included.

I am dissatisfied because of the distance from the college to the railway station.
Placements: I am in the mechanical branch, so there are no placements for our branch. For the IT branch, only 2 companies visit our college for the placements. Hardly 2 or 3 students get placed, and that too they did not get placed in an MNC company. Students were hoping to get placed in MNC, but they got placed in a small organisation.
Infrastructure: The food served in the canteen is average, and students used to eat that only because there was no other option rather than going to the station back, which is 5 kilometres from our college. The infrastructure of our college is great. Wi-Fi facility is available only in some areas. The library is the only perfect thing in the college. Labs do not have proper instruments, as shown in the brochure.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were not helpful. They did not like that we were growing. They always fail us. The course curriculum is relevant, but it does not make students industry-ready. Passing the internals are very difficult as the teachers used to fail the students.
Other: I have chosen this course because mechanical is an evergreen course. Better practical knowledge rather than assignments and stuff should be given to students. Events and fest are the only best part of the college, and they are very well-organised here.

The infrastructure of our college is quite good. Teachers are helpful, but there are no placements.
Placements: In our mechanical engineering course, there are about 60 students. Our college didn't conduct placements, and not even a single company visits our college for placements. Our college doesn't provide internships.
Infrastructure: There is a good number of facilities like Wi-Fi, etc., but mostly Wi-Fi is available only for computer labs. Our college has facilities for our top courses like CAD-CAM, machine shop and every other practical subject's lab. There are a library, computer labs and also other practical labs. The hostel is pretty good, and the quality of the food served in the mess is also pretty decent. Other than this, medical facilities are also available. They provide us space for almost all sports and games.
Faculty: Teaching staff members here are quite helpful and well qualified. They all have a good amount of knowledge of the subject which they teach, so the overall teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is not much relevant, and students will not get ready for the industry.

I'm dissatisfied with no placement, average teachers. Canteen is not good with a shortage of light.
Placements: There is no placement and salary package in this college. None of the companies visits our college. Nothing is good here.
Infrastructure: The college is in the forest, and there is nothing around the college. For a printout, we have to go to the station, which is 11 km away from college. Canteen is average, and sports and gym are also not available here. In the starting, there was no medical facility. However, due to medical college, there are some medical facilities, but they are also average. There are no lab assistants, and machines for practicals are also not good. There is no parking. Bikes or cars get dirty because of the dust and slush around the college. There is no proper computer lab, and not a single computer works properly. There are viruses on every computer. Only staff members computers are good.
Faculty: Teaching is average. The course does not make students industry-ready. Teaching staff members is very dull, and there is no proper VC. Electrical faculty members are the best and supportive.
Other: I have chosen this course because the electrical branch is very good. Staff members are supportive.
