Placements: Around 40% of the students in the IT sector got placed last year. The highest salary package offered was 6.5-7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Intel, Infosys and many Chandigarh based companies also visited our campus for placements. The training and placement cell of college try their best to place all the students.
Placements: The college is good for placements. I have seen well-reputed companies visiting our college for placements. My seniors are well settled in good companies with reputed jobs. Our college has a good placement cell, and its staff are also good.
Placements: Many companies visit the campus to conduct placement drives. Besides this, many off-campus placement drives are conducted for students to get placed. Students got placed in TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc. Many students became part of Fortune 500 companies.
Placements: Placements for our batch were good. Many students got placed in MNCs, and some of them left the placements as they opted for pursuing their career in masters degree. Many students join the army and police. Very few companies visited the college for placements. Most of the students got off-campus placements. The highest salary package offered was around 7-8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 3-4 LPA. Students were offered the roles of support service or developer. There is also...
Placements: Placements in college were very poor. Very few companies with very low salary package visited the campus for placements. The average salary package offered is less than 2 LPA. Most of the companies that visited the campus are from Chandigarh. Maximum 10% of the students get placed through campus or joint campus placements. In our final year, only one company, i.e., Cavisson Systems Noida visited the campus with a salary package of 2.50 LPA. The rest of the companies offered less than this.
Placements: Only one student from my batch got placed. It is better to try for placements on your own if you are studying in this college. Earlier, the college was good at providing placements, but now, placements are not provided as the new faculty lack skills. The management has started charging high amount from the students. The college has become more like a school.
Placements: Honestly speaking for ECE as such there is nothing, otherwise college is quite good but I recommend Chitkara over BBSBEC as they have good placement ratio. Particularly in my batch nobody was placed from college end. Moreover on that time they didn't assist us during our internship period, thus on the behalf of placement and internships it was totally zero.
Placements: Placement was very bad. Ever our seniors didn't get placed enough by college side. Only about 10 percent students from our college got placed. The highest salary offered was 20,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was 15,000 per month. There is placement cell which is not of enough use.
Placements: The highest package of mechanical in my college is 5.2 LPA, and the average salary, which offered was around 20-25K per month. The least package was 1.2 LPA. Almost, 50-60% of the students got placed, but getting a placement is the duty of a student, not college.
Placements: Actually, considering the civil department, I haven't seen many placements. Very few placements are there, and they offer very less salary. Talking about the internship, I haven't come to know anything about internship. Also, popular companies do not visit the college, and some companies that are not known too much usually visit.
Placements: The training and placement cell is quite disappointing. You have to work hard for getting placed through this college. Better do something of your own instead of living with the false expectations. Though the college environment is good, the teachers are average. The faculty can be rated as average. 6.5/10.
Placements: The placements did have a fall in last two years. They were better at time of our admission in 2015. About 60% students got placed that year from our branch with packages ranging mostly between 3.5-6 LPA. We now mostly see some local companies from Chandigarh and Mohali that too for IT, electronics and CSE branch. Nestleé was the only big company that came this year for the rescue of other branches' students.
Placements: There is not any single placement drive happened yet in our branch, but the colleges training and placement staff always insure about there arrival in next semester. So, never reflect back to this if you are voiced with any sort of placements in the mechanical branch.
Placements: About 50% of students were placed in my batch. It was more than our seniors got placed. The highest salary offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest was about 1.2 LPA. A placement cell is also there. Not very big MNCs visited, but many IT companies visited, and many students got placed.
Placements: The placement in our college is average, and many companies are visited in our college for the placements. The average package in our college is about 4 LPA. The placement cell is also there which provides important information about placements. The students with minimum 60 % marks are eligible for placements.
Placements: The placements were there, but the placement cell should be more active. The cell needs to work on its core and students should also take part in the placement drives. There is something where the college and students lack, that is why they lack in placements. However, companies come for internships and training. Many students get free internship and training.
Placements: Usually, there are 2 or more job fairs or internship per annum. Last time, on 3rd March, 2017, over 20 companies offered 150+ vacancies to the students. These companies included Connect Broadband, Vodafone, Justdial, Cs Group, SBI General Insurance and more companies.
Placements: The placements here quite satisfying. The starting package a student can crack is Rs. 3 lacs. In the recent placement session, about 70% students were hired by many MNCs. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and many more approach for placements. If I wrap it up then a student get a good package depending upon their ability and skills for which the college just gives him the path.
Placements: If I speak honestly then their placement drive is not up to the mark. The placement and training cell out there do not make such efforts to invite good companies and I don't think that even 10 students of my batch were placed through college placement drive. At last, I would like to say that do not get admitted in this college on the basis of its placement drive.
The college is at a good location and it is close to the city's railway station and bus stand. The College is located near places that hold religious importance for the Sikh community. The College has the largest campus among all the colleges in the district. The infrastructure: The college has a well-equipped computer department. In sports, the college has its own gymnasium and swimming pool and facilities at the sports complex are very good. The college very efficiently hosted the Khalsa Gam...
