I am satisfied with this college and the facilities available for students.

Placements: I have started studying in this college from 2015 and pass out in 2018. This college offered BA Honours, B.Com Honours, B.Sc Honours, etc. Almost 70% of the students are placed in our course. The maximum salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month which is offered in B.Com Honours for accounting management, etc. BA and B.Sc students get a maximum salary of Rs. 15,000 per month for the junior post. There are many salary packages offered to create life good in the budget.

A good to get a degree in commerce, arts or science.

Placements: Placement is not there in this college. Moreover, you cannot expect a college that gives degree in commerce, arts and different fields of Science to give you a job. Even the best engineering colleges have failed and even failing to place their students in different fields to earn money.

It is a good college to gain knowledge and enjoyable for every year in the fests and events.

Placements: Approximately 50% of students get placements. Top recruiting companies of our college are TCS, Wipro, etc. The course for B.Com (Hons) is 3 years in accounting and finance. Our college offers good salary packages in B.Com (Hons) course.

It is one of the very good colleges in Kolkata.

Placements: Placements are really good at our college. It is one of the most renowned colleges in Kolkata, which conducts placements. The highest salary packages offered up to 4-5 LPA. I would recommend everyone to join our college. Placement department is also very active, and they work very hard for the students.

I admire the college the most.

Placements: Placements of this college are good and very effective also. Some of my friends are doing jobs, and they all are very happy. Even our teachers are very helpful regarding placements. Moreover, the college staff and GS have also helped us.

Overall it is a good college for doing graduation under Calcutta University.

Placements: There was no placement cell in our college when I graduated. However, recently they are building up a placement cell which will provide placement offers from companies like TCS, Mahindra, Tata, etc. Since it is not an engineering college, the average salary package offered is around 3 LPA. I would personally suggest opting a better college as I am still jobless.

My college provides all facilities for all the students. Every year, the placements are good.

Placements: My college is one of the best for bright students from a middle-class family. My college is an opportunity for a bright career because it provides its students with quality classes from a highly educated professor. If we talk about the placements, reputed companies come here to hire the candidates and offer a minimum salary amount of Rs. 20 to 30 thousand per month.

Dissatisfied because of faculty, good placement in 2017.

Placements: There are not enough placements in the college. Though some of my friends got jobs from multinational companies, their salary is about Rs. 12,000 to 13,000 per month, but most of our friends search quality job. Two of my seniors now doing the job in Wipro. More than two companies per year are campusing in our college for recruitment.

The infrastructure and facilities are really good.

Placements: Placement facilities are not provided. The students can only get a degree. The college doesn't have any placement cell. Our seniors said the same when we spoke to them about placements.

The faculty members are very good but the placement are the worst.

Placements: The worst placement system. No companies come here for the recruitment. Everybody get the job through their effort. Many seniors are now in the various companies and doing the job through central campusing. Nowadays many students do not get the job in the companies after the graduation.

Some of the faculty are bad. They do not try to help students. Still, these teachers are everywhere.

Placements: I was a student of B.Sc honours in physics. Some of our previous batch students had good ranks in all India exams. In our batch, me and one of our friends got a chance for M.Sc at IIT Delhi, one at IIT Hyderabad 3 at IIT Dhanbad and 2 at Calcutta University. At least 50% students of all the years get a chance in M.Sc. Some of the students are also at IISc Bengaluru.

Merits and demerits of Bangabasi College

Placements: When I passed out, one company called me for a job. That job was account-related and I felt proud as a student of Bangabasi College. When I took the English honours course, everybody discouraged me that I couldn't continue my course. But I showed them by passing that if I can do this, we all can.

Bangabasi college was good, and the evening slot allotted to the working students was great.

Placements: Placements are good for my college as 80% of the students from my college were placed. My senior got good placements along with a good package. The highest package offered was 6 lacs per annum, and the lowest was 2 lacs per annum. The students were placed in banking backend operations, and as salespersons in the marketing department. 80% students got internships from my college with the highest stipend of Rs. 10,000 and the lowest stipend of Rs. 5,000.

Excellence facility and laboratory with most experienced faculty members.

Placements: Here you get opportunity to work for private institutions or company. It depends on your skill. From Zoology department, every year 30% student students get placement. If I say their package, it has around 2 Lacs per annum. The highest package is 4 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 1.20 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting company for my course is Agrochemical Company. You can also get an internship from India's top-level companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Inox, etc. by meeting the basic requirements...

Good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: My college doesn't offer any placements. Some of us are pursuing post-graduation, others are employed, and some are still looking for a job. Internships were not offered because the pandemic occurred while we were in college, so we weren’t allowed to do any internships.

The faculty was good but college unfortunate doesn't provide placements.

Placements: The students for this course were comparatively lesser because this course isn't that widely chosen. This college doesn't give you any placements, so basically you chose this course in this college if you are preparing for any competitive examination.

Our college had extremely helpful and supportive faculty, good infrastructure, and workable labs.

Placements: There were no placement opportunities at this college. Excellent subject knowledge was provided. You don't get any placement with this course from any college under the same University that is University of Calcutta. But you can easily pursue higher studies.
