In terms of infrastructure and study scope, my college is such a nice college.
Placements: Entering MBBS by cracking NEET is the only way to enter medical colleges. In the case of government medical colleges, a cheap amount is spent. Are all final year pass-out students able to get an internship? After passing MBBS, one gets entry into house staffship and then as a junior resident doctor in the same college or another college.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is too good, and the facilities are very helpful for students. They also teach more carefully. Here, the library, auditorium, and laboratories are also available. In our college, sports games are available. A huge playground is also there. Boys' and girls' hostels are available, and the mess/canteen is hygienic.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and also pay attention to the students. The teaching quality is truly good. There are 9 semester exams in total in the MBBS course, and students must get 50% marks to pass year-wise. University exams or MB exams are the final exams for each year.
Other: I chose MBBS for my passion also, I want to help poor people who are struggling with money and are unable to buy medicine.

BSMCH excels in academics, faculty, and hospital facilities, making it an excellent choice for MBBS.
Placements: Upon completion of your MBBS, pursuing a postgraduate degree is the most favorable choice. In case you are unable to secure a PG position, you have the option to engage in rural postings under the government for a duration of 3 years. This will also grant you a service quota reservation for PG admissions. Additionally, you can work as a medical officer at a private hospital. Moreover, during your internship, you will receive a stipend of approximately 30,000.
Infrastructure: The lecture theater at our institution consists of five air-conditioned LTs. Our labs are equipped with a variety of instruments, including microscopes. However, some of these instruments are old and have not been replaced accordingly. As a tertiary care institute, BSMC experiences a high influx of patients, resulting in a large number of beds in the wards.
Faculty: The medical college is run by the government, which means you will face intense competition from your fellow students. You can expect numerous exams throughout your academic journey, including partial completion exams, semester exams, and ultimately, professional exams conducted by universities. The seniors are known for their supportive nature, and the postgraduate trainees (PGTs) will also assist you in clinical subjects.
Other: The annual culture event of BSMC, known as Synapse, offers numerous opportunities for individuals to step out of their comfort zones. Additionally, there are various sports events such as football, cricket, and volleyball where participants can engage in their preferred sports or explore other athletic activities.

A college which needs serious improvement but some seriously knowledgeable faculty.
Placements: Many alumni of my college are at very prestigious positions in different parts of the country. In this course, they provide all the necessary skills along with loads of in hand experience.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is in a very poor condition. We don't have Wi-Fi anywhere other then library and it is of very poor quality so we can't rely on it. The food provided in the mess is the worse thing you will ever consumer, it is of very poor quality, many times u can find wants and cockroaches in the them and the plates they are served in is liked by dogs many a times. The biggest problem is for vegetarian people you can't find nice vegetarian food at cheap rates. There is no facility for sports apart from football and cricket and that too is for boys only. The washrooms are not very clean and there is also issues with rooms. We have a lift but it never works.
Faculty: Teachers teach well but only in Bangla language. There is a huge language barrier, even if you tell them to speak in English or Hindi, they will come back to Bangla after a few lies. The course is curriculum relevant, it is making us ready for the future to be a good doctor. The semester exams are quite tough with strict invigilation. The passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I have always aspired to be a doctor hence I chose this course, the best thing about this course is that it gives us power to nurture life. I don't think of anything to improve in this course but there sure is a lot to improve about my college. You will like the events here if you are a Bengali otherwise they are quite repetitive and boring.

An old but gold college (with a lot of things to improve) .
Placements: Maximum students get good placements just after 1 year of mandatory internship here in the hospital itself, if not there , then there are multiple nursing homes available for good exposure to patients. Therefore there is no lack of opportunities here. A lot is there to learn in the hospital.
Infrastructure: College is not built within a campus as such, there are 2 college buildings: Lokepur campus and Nutan Bhavan, 3 boys hostel a 1 girls hostel along with 2 hospital buildings: Govindnagar Hospital and Superspeciality building. Boys Hostel is not so clean but it is cleaned regularly. All other accessories provided are adequate and in good quality. Rooms are spacious with proper ventilation. As Bankura is a little backward area with lot of greenery so insects and sometimes snakes are also seen. Overall my hostel experience is moderate.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, generous and always ready to help the students. Mostly teachers teach in Bengali. But if someone does not understand Bengali they also try in either English or Hindi. Exams are conducted in 3 patterns: 1 MB occurs which is the final passing exam conducted from WBUHS, a total of 9 semester exams are conducted in every 4-5 months, and finally after completing one unit regular PCTs are conducted in every 10-15 days. Syllabus is easily completed well within time and revisions are also done. Practicals are conducted regularly and seriously. Overall there are very few drawbacks in the teaching methodology here.
Other: Overall a very good college, infrastructure is a bit old as the college is very old ( 1st batch in 1961). Every year a lot of events and fests are organised like- Nucleus (Freshers), Synapse (Cultural Fest), Convocation, Badminton tournament, and other sports events. Hospital has a very high patient load, it has its merit as well as demerit. Merit- A lot of exposure, Great platform for learning, Seeing new and rare cases. Demerit- Difficult to manage, Very depressing environment, Long working hours. Connectivity of the college is not so good. Bankura Railway station is not so big so majority of trains from large cities do not halt at Bankura. In that case people need to stop at nearby station either Durgapur or Asansol and then reach to Bankura either by bus or train.

    Really good infrastructure.
Placements: As MBBS does not have placement system, campus placement programmes do not occur as such. However, after passing from the institution, all candidates will be qualified doctors enrolled in the service of the nation. Options of USMLE, PLAB etc. Are also open.
Infrastructure: Lecture theatres are air conditioned and sanitation is good. There are three boys hostel and a ladies hostel, the overall condition of which is good. The food served by the mess is decent and edible. Sports events are organised periodically at different times of a year.
Faculty: Teachers are excellent in their way of making us understand the course material. They take enough efforts to make us understand the practical applications of this field as well. Semesters are moderate to difficult, as is the case with every other medical college. The pass percentage is good.

Absolutely amazing because you will make lots of friends, faculty and teachers are amazing, .
Placements: I am currently studying in MBBS course. In my college about 99 percent of students get internship. I would say many roles offered especially internship, medicinal, surgent, radiologist etc. In MBBS course all students must complete their compulsory internship in their respective college.
Infrastructure: Our anatomy department is not that good, but other department is nice. Hostel is nice and in my room, it is fully tyles. You always gonna enjoy sports like football, table tennis. Canteen food is good, above average. We have to pay our own meals. Rice is available two times in a day.
Faculty: Teachers are really good, qualified and knowledgeable. Of course MBBS doctors are really need in our society. Final exams are really tough and passing rate is about 90. In medical college teachers always helps about any problem in understanding. Teaching quality is good but we have to do online classes.
Other: Anuual fest occured every year, and its amazing.
