Review of Bannari Amman Institute of Technology.

Placements: More than 85% of the students get placed from college. The lowest salary package offered was 3.25 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. TCS was the top recruiting company of our college. Product-based and service-based jobs were offered to students. More than 100 companies visit our campus out of which TCS is most important as it recruits the most number of students.

Dissatisfied with the location, connectivity is bad.

Placements: Nearly 90% of students get placed and core placements are 10% and remaining in software companies. The highest package is 50k and the lowest package is 15k. Internship are provided in Metafin Revilus etc. Most of the students are placed in tata consultancy services.

IT department is better because there are placements for IT students.

Placements: Around 55% of students got placed in our department. The highest salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,000 per month. Companies like Vuram Technologies, Tata Consultancy Service, Tech Mahindra, etc., visited our campus for placements. Roles like developers, testers and technical analyst, etc., were offered to students. Only 30% of students got internships from our course.

Don't fall for the infrastructure.

Placements: TCS, HP (which hasn't called anyone placed even after a year), Tech Mahindra (I really don't know why they recruited), other companies hire only a few. Hereafter, do not expect placements at all, on or off campus. I advise you to not learn from college. Self-learning is the best option. Everyone goes to the college for namesake.

It is a good college with better infrastructure, hostel and labs.

Placements: IT placements in the college are good. High paying companies visit the college every year during year end. TCS take 500 candidates every year. But, the core placements are very dull. In the previous year, the highest salary package was from Amazon with a pay of 9 LPA.

Worst placement opportunities and many staff members are in learning level.

Placements: 280 are currently studying mechanical in our college. From that huge count, only 80-90 students (approx.) were placed in MNCs and others are going to attend a Co-India placement training progress in order to get a good job in various companies. The highest salary is about 60k- 70k, lowest salary is 8k- 10k and the average salary is 28k- 30k. Most popular companies like VMware, Amazon, Flikart, ebay, zoho, L&T, Titan (Both for EEE & Mechanical fields) are visiting our institution year by year. Al...

The College has a very good Infrastructure but the faculty and others do not know how to utilize it. The college students does not have any outside exposure. This college suits best for people who wants a degree but not a job. Few faculties are good but requires more training. Recently, college has increased the students’ strength with less faculty.

A remote setting and infrastructure are worth a mention at BIT. In spite of the college's remote location, students have access to a wide range of facilities. However, one may not find the college to be exciting. Inadequate interaction in classes and teaching only within areas of the academics makes classes a rather dull affair. Club activities and sports are not fostered in the right way, which if done the right way makes life at college memorable. A person not up for surprises and excitement? ...

Good and well-disciplined college. But Hostel facilities are not up to the level. Low bandwidth Wi-Fi. Hostel food is worst (during 2009-2013). Don’t know how it is now. Placement wise they are trying to get more companies. Also they are conducting so many placement classes, mock interviews, and mock group discussions to improve the skills of students.

Very bad in rules but they offer in placement. The worst in getting internal marks.

Placements: 1.70% placement. 2. The highest 600000 the lowest 15000 salary offered. 3. Tcs amazon were top recruiters. 4. Coding role was offered. 5. Average 20000 was offered. 6.78% got internship. The rules in our institution is very strict. They force the student for internal marks. You didn't see the students getting arrear in the semester examination while they pass in external but they fail in internal. Rules are very strict.
