DRDO Recruitment through GATE 2025: Eligibility Criteria
- The nationality of the candidate must be Indian.
- Candidates must have scored at least 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam (graduation). In the case of CGPA/CPI (If the conversion formula is unavailable), 6.75 will be considered equivalent to 60%, per AICTE guidelines.
- Candidates aspiring to DRDO recruitment through GATE should know German, French, Russian, Japanese, or Chinese (desirable, but not mandatory).
- Aspirants should be no older than 28 years as of the date specified in the notification. Age Relaxation will be as per Government directions.

Q: How to calculate GATE 2025 Score?
The exam authority will calculate the GATE score by considering the raw marks secured by candidates in the GATE 2025 result. The raw marks, or actual marks, will be allotted to the candidates after evaluating the answers. The GATE score for the multi-session exam will be calculated by converting the raw marks into the normalised marks for that particular subject. The raw marks will be used for calculating the GATE score based on the qualifying marks. The scorecard will be available to qualified candidates only. Q: How many new exam cities have been added to the GATE 2025 exam centers?
This year, 11 new cities have been included in the GATE exam centers. Candidates had the facility to opt for the exam center at the time of GATE registration. DRDO Recruitment through GATE 2025: Age Limit
The maximum age limit for candidates to be recruited as Scientist ‘B’ is 28 years as of the closing date. Age Relaxation for candidates belonging to the reserved category is as per the Government guidelines. Maximum relaxation in the upper age limit will be as under

DRDO Recruitment through GATE 2025: Steps to fill the application form
Registration – Candidates will be required to register before filling the application form. They will need to enter details such as Name, Email, and Mobile number, etc. Candidates will be required to choose a unique password of 8-15 digits having special characters, at least one number, one uppercase alphabet, and one lowercase alphabet.
Fill Biodata – After registration, candidates will log in again to fill in other information such as personal details, academic qualification, and contact details. Candidates appearing for the written test will also be required to enter two exam centres out of the given cities.
Upload Documents – After entering all the details, candidates will need to upload documents as given below. Final year students will be allowed to upload their provisional or degree certificate at a later point of time.
