Bansal: An institution for the next generation.
Placements: In Bansal Institute of Engineering and Technology, they offer great placements for almost all branches, but there is a low percentage of students getting jobs in Civil Engineering. Good placements are offered in CS and technology trades, with the max package being 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The institute is well-equipped with all the modern necessities like big playgrounds, separate basketball and badminton grounds. Labs are well-equipped as per the university norms. The food offered in the canteen and mess is of good quality and taste.
Faculty: The courses are designed as per the university guidelines and syllabus, and assessments are conducted every month for testing students. The main thing is that they offer good quality teaching, and books are provided from the library every semester, including subject books and other books.
Other: As a civil engineer, we are the ones who make the world in terms of infrastructure development facilities.

It’s okay if you don’t have much money.
Placements: Percentage of placed students is 10. Most of the students are not getting placement after 5 years of B.Tech. The lowest package is of 1.2 LPA and the highest is 7 LPA. Top recruiter companies are Mahindra and HCL. About 80% of students got internships in many companies like Wipro and many more.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good, not much enough, but it's okay. We are there and enjoy ourselves with other students; it gives another enjoyment which is far more good than living in a rented room. But there is no facility of Wi-Fi and the average quality of food provided by the mess is poor.
Faculty: Our department often organises seminars and webinars on many interesting topics and also meetings such as parent-teacher meetings, 'Ask the teacher’, etc., to be more interactive with us. Every student has a mentor with whom they can discuss their queries and sort them out. There are also placement facilities. The university also provides a summer internship programme to gain more knowledge and it helps to learn new topics as well .

Decent labs and practical experience, but curriculum and industry exposure needs improvement.
Placements: In my course, around 60–70% of students were placed. The highest package offered was around 6 LPA, while the lowest was about 3 LPA, with the average package being 3.5 to 4 LPA. There was no fixed top recruiting company, as various mid-sized companies participated in the placements.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for the course included well-equipped labs with computers and essential software for practical sessions. Wi-Fi was available only in the labs and the library, not campus-wide. Classrooms were functional but basic. The library had a good collection of academic resources relevant to the course. The hostel facilities were decent, with basic amenities provided, though not very modern. The food in the mess and canteen was average, offering standard meals without much variety. Medical facilities were minimal, with a basic health center available for common health issues. Sports and games were supported, but the facilities for them were also average, with limited equipment and playing areas.
Faculty: The teachers were generally helpful and qualified, with average teaching quality. The curriculum was somewhat relevant but didn't fully prepare students for industry, requiring additional learning. Semester exams were moderately difficult, and the pass percentage was around 70-80%, making them manageable with regular effort.
Other: I chose this course for my interest in technology and career opportunities. The best aspects were the practical labs and real-world projects. However, I wish the curriculum was more industry-focused with better internship opportunities. Campus events were small, the crowd was diverse, and extracurriculars were decent. Connectivity and campus surroundings were average, and scholarships were limited.

I am not satisfied with this college education system. I don't recommend this college to anyone.
Placements: In my college for the CSE branch, only 3-4 companies come for other branches; the highest package is 6 LPA, and the average is 2-3 LPA. This is off-campus placement; when students crack off-campus placement, they use their names for promoting and no internship is provided; you have to find yourself. With an internship, above 75 percent attendance is compulsory; otherwise, you get internal back. They only want attendance. No extra skills are taught; only study not any extra events and activities are held in this college except for the fresher party for 1st-year students. In the CSE branch, labs are structured, and systems are not working. You cannot use phones and laptops in the classroom.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi, classrooms are decent, not looking like engineering classrooms. The library is not updated. Labs are very poor in this branch. In the whole lab, only 2 or 3 systems are working properly; otherwise, maximum systems are failed. No AC in classrooms, and fans are slow.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, also qualified, but some teachers are not good and knowledgeable. They have the talent to teach every subject. Some teachers teach in all semesters, different subjects, courses. These are only theoretical, not practical. So, it means that students are not industry ready.
Other: Don't take admission; your life completely destroyed. In fact, before taking admission, you must visit the college and ask the students; they told you the reality.

Not a very good environment the newcomers
Placements: Approximately 20-30% students were placed in my department. 9 lac is highest package,1.5 lac is lowest and 3 lac is a average package offered in the course. Top companies like Wipro, HCL, Chetu, Tech Mahindra for the course. No more students got internship. Software engineer, data engineer and an intern were the roles offered.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi available in college, not all the systems work properly in lab, fans are not working in classrooms, only one lecture is available for library in a week. I don't know more about mess because I am a day scholars but food quality of canteen is good sometimes and also sports and games, event are conducted in college.
Faculty: All the teachers are helpful, friendly, qualified and knowledgeable and their teaching is good. The course is properly not sufficient for making a student industry ready, it needs some improvement. The semester exams are not very hard, it is easy to gain good marks but sometimes is could be tough. The pass percentage is approximately 80-85%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to know about some technical things and want to create something unique. Things I want to improve is the academic syllabus. Every year an event is conducted for the freshers which is like fest for them. The campus crowd is looks good in starting, connectivity building is easy with seniors, college also provide scholarship.

Overall review for B.Tech in BIET Lucknow.
Placements: 20 percent of students were placed in our college. The highest package is 7 lakh, the lowest package is 1.5 lakh, and the average package is 3 lakh. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL, and Chetu. Not a single student gets an internship from the college; everyone applies from outside.
Infrastructure: Some faculties are very helpful and understanding. They cover the overall syllabus until the exam. All infrastructure is available, but WiFi and lab systems do not work. Every book and journal is available in the library, but there is only one library lecture per week. The quality of food is okay in the mess and canteen, and no medical facility is available in the college.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Their way of teaching helps a lot in our career growth. The course curriculum is relevant, but the college does not follow it. In most cases, they have their own rules and regulations. Some semester exams are difficult, and some exams are average; 80 to 90 percent of students pass.
Other: I am interested in the technical field, which is why I took this course, and this is one of the best courses. The things I wish to improve are the college infrastructure, WiFi, lab system, and placement preparation. An induction program is conducted every year, and technical events are held in the departments like National Innovation Day, Engineer's Day, Youth Day, and Math's Day. There are no extracurricular activities, and scholarships are provided with the condition of JEE Mains exam and 60 percent in intermediate.
