BCET - Bengal College Of Engineering and Technology is an average college.

Placements: Placements for our branch are very good. About 70% of the students get placed from our branch every year. Good companies visit our college. Packages provided by the companies are fair enough.

Placements in Bengal College of Engineering and Technology are good.

Placements: Tech Mahindra and Wipro visit the college for campus recruitments. TVS visits to conduct an off-campus drive. Many of our friends got placed, and I got placed in Tech Mahindra. Some of my friends got placed in other companies, but most of the students were left unplaced. They did not get jobs and were forced to go for higher studies.

The college is good. If you want to study freely, you can take admission in this college.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch are average. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, Byju's, SAP labs, Cognizant and some companies visited the college for placements. The students who have good technical knowledge can get placed in well-reputed companies.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placement is quite good. Most of the students get placed in different companies. Mass recruitment is done by MNCs like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Syntel. Placement cell is helpful. They try to get most of the students placed in different companies. Minimum salary offered to students are 3.25 LPA.

Placements, infrastructure, faculty members, etc., are good in the college.

Placements: A large number of companies visit the college and hires about 70 to 80% of the students from CS, IT, and ECE department, and about 60% of the students from rest of the branches. Overall, in my experience, the placements in the college are good.

Bengal College of Engineering and Technology is the best college with good faculty members.

Placements: I wasn't placed on campus as I didn't get good marks. The topper of my class got selected for L&T with a good package. About 10-15 students got selected. Out of that, only seven students joined the companies. Overall, the placements in our college are average.

Almost 80% of the students get placed in on-campus recruitment out which 30% of the students get placed in BPO services, 48% of the students get placed in small companies, and the rest 2% get placed in highly reputed MNCs. Major recruiters are Byju's and TCS, and Tech Mahindra also comes to the college, but few students get placed in it. 20% of the students get internship opportunities from this college especially core branches. I miss my college days. The college is good.

Placements: Before 2014, the placements were good. After that, companies come but the profile they provide is non-technical, only fewer number of tech companies come. If you are good enough you will get off-campus placements. The highest package was 6 LPA for B.Tech, and the average was 3.5 LPA.

I would rate 4 for all the facilities, education, and placement.

Placements: The placements are well and good, and it is about 60 to 70% of placement. Many MNC companies visit the college for hiring with good packages, and the minimum salary is about 3 LPA. I got placed in Tech Mahindra with the salary package of 3.4 LPA. Many MNC companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Byjus, L&T, etc., were there with a lot of start-up companies, where anyone can show their skills and can get an upgrade.

Overall, the college is good but for civil stream there are no placements.

Placements: There are no placements for civil engineering students in this college. Better you go for government colleges rather than private colleges for joining in the civil stream. For other streams like CS, IT, ECE there are lots of placements. If you are looking for a private college for CS branch, join here, you will have a chance to get 6 LPA package from this college.

Overall, the college is good.

Placements: Several companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft, etc., offer jobs to the eligible candidates. The highest package offered in the year 2018-19 is 18 Lacs per annum, and the average package is 4-5 Lacs per annum. I think it is better than many other colleges.

I am satisfied, but they need to improve placements quality.

Placements: Placements were very poor at our time, and until 2012-2013 placement status was very good. There is a placement cell which brings companies for placements. Very few MNCs visited, and they hired very few students as compared with other private colleges reside in Kolkata. For branches like CSE, IT and ECE, it is averted, but for core stream such as civil and electrical, they are very poor.

I am dissatisfied because of placements, and the infrastructure is worth seeing.

Placements: In 2016, TCS and Tech Mahindra and other companies visited the college. MNCs were about to visit, but till the last date, we had to wait. However, students got jobs in companies through drives but not through the college. There is a placement cell.

It is not a very good college.

Placements: Our college has very poor placements, and only a quarter of students got placed. Even many of them got placed in startups. It is very common for students to go to tier-1 cities to search for jobs. Only two MNCs used to visit our college during our tenure for placements. Mostly, there will be pool campus recruitment in Kolkata. The placement scenario became worst this year.
