Placements: Every year, the condition of placements for civil students was really very bad. College failed to bring enough and good civil companies. Around 40% students got placed. The highest salary was 4.8 LPA and the lowest was of 2.4 LPA. All the students got the opportunity to do an internship from the college.
Placements: This college failed to bring core companies for placements. A few software companies came, but they hired very few students. The highest salary was rupees 4.8 lakhs per annum and the average was only 2.5 lakhs per annum. IBM, Tech Mahindra and OBO came for campusing. All students got an internship from the college.
Placements: This college is not that good when it comes to placements. Very few students got placed. The highest package was 4.8 LPA and the average was 2.5 LPA. TCS, Wipro and I-Gate were a few companies that arrived for placements. Almost all the students got internships from the college.
I think this college has not got anything good. The infrastructure is not so good as well. Hostel facilities are not up to the mark. Quality of food in hostel is not good at all. Placements are not good and if you get placed by any chance, you will not get enough salary. I would not recommend this college.
Not a good college, faculty members are not good but behaviour is good. Labs materials are available and the management is also not good. But lecturers are helpful, they always try to help the students. So my point of view if a guy wants study then he or she should not come to this college.
Placements: There were no placements for civil engineering students. Not even a single civil company turned up. Only a few software companies came for placements such as Wipro, TCS etc. Around 30-40 percent students got placed. The highest salary was 4.8 lakh per annum and lowest was 2.4 lakh per annum. All the students got internships from the college.
It’s good for CSE and IT branch, as they get many companies for the campus recruitment. They also have a good bunch of faculty members for these streams, and for the rest of the branch the management is doing nothing, neither faculty members are there and nor the placements. The management live in 19th century I guess. No WI-FI, no digital setup. No events organized by the management. Only the Students have to take all the initiatives.
I have left my college for close to two years now and while I was there it had been an educational experience, both academically and socially. The batch consisted of people from various parts of India and different walks of life. The best place was the Library and Canteen. The Classrooms were big and airy. The Labs were at par with other private colleges. The Teachers were also a mix of both good and bad. Some were very helpful and good while others were there just to terrorize students. But mos...
I have done my BTech in biotechnology from this college. The teaching staffs were very good and very much co-operative. The lab in our department had facilities with some expensive equipment. But the main negative things about this college is in terms of campus placements. If students want a good job here, they have to attend pool campuses in some other colleges.
According to me the College is quite good in aspect of maintaining discipline. But it is not good in point of good teaching facilities. Classes are running in disciplined manner daily. Some faculties are quite good and experienced ones too. But College Management is only looking on its infrastructure, not on Placement. Placement Department is not good. You never see the PLACEMENT OFFICER in college. According to me college is not good. In their prospectus you see many Companies who came here for...
BCET as we call it. It has an excellent campus with campus placement of hardly 10%. Class rooms and labs are good, but there is a whole bunch of new faculty for CS/IT dept. Management is strong. You will be only served veg food in college hostel and canteen. Least number of extra-curricular events. BCET even do not organize college fests. And a last honest opinion do not fall in trap just by seeing the prospectus.
Bengal College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) is one of the well-known engineering colleges in west Bengal located in urban Durgapur. The roadway and transportation is also sound. It has magnificent infrastructure and buildings but the placement in core engineering branches are not as good as the outlook, the placement cell is rubbish. However that is normal in the present employment scenario of the Bengal. The management committee is very strict against ragging or any unpleasant happening...
1. You can afford this college if you belong to middle class family. 2. You will not get non-veg food in the hostel canteen and cafeteria as well. 3. Faculty members are not up to the mark. College needs more senior faculty members. 4. Average Campus facilities. 5. Placement record is very poor and placement cell also doesn’t take enough action.
It’s an average college. Few faculty members are really good. But I am not sure if they are still there. Rest are average. It would have been a good college if the chairman focused on placements rather than getting more students. Basically, college management is not that good. Infrastructure is good but placement cell not so good. So join the college only if you are not getting any better choice and check the last 2 years placement records if you have to choose any college of this category.
Before two years it was a very good college having good placement but now a days one can't expect a good job after passing from this college .You will have to struggle. It has a very good infrastructure and facilities. The most important thing is it is ragging free, as campus is under CCTV surveillance.
My college is similar like others but something which is different from others is that, it's placement is very poor when I was getting admission in this college it was average but now it's very poor . Infrastructure is very fine & also facilities for girls is very good.
Placements: Around 67% were placed. 2 LPA was the lowest, 3.5 LPA was the average, and around 9 LPA was the highest, I guess. TCS, Wipro, etc. Around 50% had coding-related internships. Roles included software development, programming, management skills, etc. The package varies depending on the student's skill.
Placements: Our college had not provided good placements. Many students got off-campus placements. They were shown that students got placed in this college. Around 7-9 out of 60 students got placements. Our college had not invited core branch companies.
Placements: Few companies visited college the college, so around 10% of the students got placed from campus. The highest salary package offered was 3.8 LPA, by Extramarks, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 by Patanjali. Companies like Extramarks, Patanjali, Sudo Ltd, and Genpact visited the campus for recruitment. No students got internships from companies.
Placements: No placement at all for core branches mainly civil branch, but if you interested in it sector's then I think you can get some placement chances, Most of companies like Byjus, Coglugent, extra marks etc. come to campus placement but most of students placed in companies like extra marks, patanjali etc. with package 3 LPA.
