Review of Bengal College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Around 38 students out of 64 students got placed from our branch. The highest salary package offered was 3.36 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS and GE. The assistant engineer is the top role offered to students. The highest salary offered was around Rs. 35,000 per month. The average salary offered was around Rs. 15,000 per month. I don't know just one of our batchmate went for an internship, and I don't know about other branches.

College is good with laboratories and hostel. The study quality needs to be improved.

Placements: Placement is not that good, and only a few MNC came for on campus. They do also participate in some off-campus drive. In my scenario, I got placed in the very first company that came to my college is Tech Mahindra. Even then the company delayed the joining date and also being asked for several times. The TPO didn't contact the company for further information.

This is the average type of college.

Placements: There are many product-based companies visit our college for placements and internships. The average salary package offered will be around 2-3.5 LPA. I think in engineering placement is not a big deal. Quality is a big deal. So don't find a review just focus on your study.

I would rate my college average as placements were average in 2016.

Placements: About 50% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies like TCS, SAP Labs, Unisys, Wipro, TechMahindra, Infosys, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Think and Learn Pvt. Ltd, Axis Bank, Accenture visited the campus for our course.

The college offers a nice study environment. Placements are low but good infrastructure.

Placements: I am in THE final year of my course, and I can say in the civil department, almost 4-5 students get placed in reputed companies, i.e., almost 20% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.75 LPA. Companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Amazon, etc., were top recruiters. I don't know much about the roles offered. The highest salary package offered in our course was 4.5 LPA. I don't know much about the internships.

I suggest this college to every student.

Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed this year. The average placement is also quite good. Placements are the best among other colleges under the same fee structure colleges. This is recommended for any aspiring student with quite a weaker financial background.

Somewhat good curriculum with bad mess food and great infrastructure.

Placements: Placements of my batch and also of previous batches was somewhat similar. Around 80 % of the total students of my batch got placed and rest opted for higher studies or family business. The highest package was 3.5 Lacs per annum and average was 2.8 Lacs per annum for my batch. Companies visited included Byju's, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hyundai, TCS etc. And they offered roles of that of sales, Business development, market analyst etc. College didn't provide any privilege for internship and was for se...

One of the best college in West Bengal, and you can join in this college.

Placements: Placements in this college are good for IT branches like CSE and IT. Placements for branches like mechanical and civil were less. Various software companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, and many more conducted placement drives. Asahi Glasses and Ashok Leyland are such few companies offered placements for core branches.

Absolutely satisfied with college.

Placements: The placement of my college was good, not excellent. It was not excellent because the company came for placement was not all multinational companies. Many startup companies also came for the placement but these companies were giving good package, so overall the placement of college was good because more than 65 % students were placed.

Very satisfied because of study, and absolutely dissatisfied because of placement.

Placements: Placement for the students of CSE and ECE branch was quiet good. But for core branch there were no placement. Not even a single company from core branch was there for the placement. I have complete my degree in 2018 and I am jobless till now. So if you want to get admission in this college then take software Department rather core branch.

The best private college in Durgapur.

Placements: The previous year, many well-known companies like Ashok Leyland, Direct-I, GE Powers, Amazon, TCS, etc., visited the campus and recruited many students. In 2018, BCET got a very good response from students about placement as well as from the companies when compared to previous years 2016 and 2017. About 70-80% of the students got placed with an average salary of 5.5 LPA.

Infrastructure, placements and campus environment are good.

Placements: The placement rates differ each year. There is no fixed percentage as far as the placements are considered. This year our batch (2019) had good placement numbers. Almost 60%-70% of the students of our department got placed, and the same is for other branches too except the civil engineering and mechanical engineering departments. These two departments don't get placements from the college, but they eventually get placed within the first 6-8months after completing the course. Some opt for higher ...

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good. At least a maximum number of graduates got placed in top MNCs of our country. Companies like TCS, Patanjali, Wipro, Capgemini, Amazon, and L&T, etc., visit the campus for placements. They offer good salary packages. Overall, it's nice to be a part of this college.

Placements: This college offers many types of courses like computer science, ECE, electrical, civil, IT and EEE. Placements are good for IT, CSE and EEE students. Some companies that visit the college are very good, but the reputed companies do not come for placements.

Overall, the college life is full of fun, but the placements are not that good here.

Placements: Only BPO companies have been visiting the campus from the last 3 years. However, the placement rate reaches to around 50%-60%, and the average salary package offered is around 2.5 LPA. Our TPO tries to improve the placement ratio to 90%-100%. Our TPO organises off-campus placement drives for the students of core branches, but hardly any student gets placed there. The students also face issues with fake placement offers where the joining gets delayed.

Placements: Placements in our college were decent compared to other colleges of the same level. Our batch got better placement opportunities with respect to our senior batch. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, and TVS visit our college for recruitment. The average package offered was around 3 LPA.
