Satisfied with the faculty, course and co-curriculum activities. Excellent placements in 2015,16.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch were good but, and for us, the placements were not that good enough. Around 40% of the students were placed in different companies. The highest salary offered was 9 LPA, and the lowest was 1.20 LPA. From high ranked companies like Microsoft, CGI, TCS, Intel etc. to low ranked companies like Hearing aid companies, Zola code etc. visited our campus. The roles offered to the students were of technical support, technical staff, sales staff and also, been offered w...

My experience with the Bengal institute of technology (techno India).

Placements: The BIT (Bengal institute of technology) is a college undertaken by Techno India Group. The placements are good in the college but not excellent. In the recent years, the placements are not up to the mark. The average package offered by the company that visit is around 3LPA. The placements are completely dependent on the communication and aptitude skills.

Really good infrastructure, faculty and education.

Placements: The placement of the college is quite good, but the education they provide is something extraordinary. If you have tried hard from the beginning to get placed in some reputed companies like TCS, IBM, Capgemini, CTS, Byju's, and many others you would get the chance to sit in more than 30 companies.

Review on Bengal Institute Of Technology.

Placements: The placements here is really good compared to the other colleges in the way I know. Though I have not gone through this phase, but I can hear from my seniors that the companies like TCS and Infosys are recruiting many from our college. Most probably 50 to 60 percent of students got jobs here.

A good college but there is no campus life.

Placements: I joined the college in 2016 in that year placement was 98%, and ranked 2nd in West Bengal on the basis of placements. The placement got reduced in the year 2017, and it was around 60%. The faculty are trying to improve the placement percentage. As per me, it is the 3rd best techno group college.

Awesome college, good placement, and nice faculty members.

Placements: The placements are good. I got placed in BYJUs with an outstanding package. Mostly, all the students got more than 5 LPA package. I got 9 LPA package. More placement drives are yet to happen.80% of the placements are average every year. I hope, this year, the number is even more. The companies like Microsoft, TCS, CGI, Intel, BYJUs, etc., came to the campus.

Getting into BIT is the mistake of my life.

Placements: The placement of the senior batch was great, but our batch placements were pathetic. Only 15% of the students were placed in our batch. The highest salary offered was 7 LPA, the lowest was 1.5 LPA and the average of 2.5 LPA. The placement cell is there. It is pathetic, and there was no transparency in the placement process. The students were blocked from appearing without any reasons. When asked for a reason, they humiliated the student. The placement cell is riddled with politics. It is of no u...

Bengal Institute of Technology (BIT) is like a family.

Placements: The placements were good. Last year, 96% of the students were placed in the campus selection. I am not sure about the exact amount of package, but I am sure that the highest package offered was above Rs. 16 lakhs which are very much enough for a fresher regarding the job. Many companies such as TCS, CGT, BYJUs, etc., visit.

The best part of this college is faculty members especially my HOD.

Placements: The placement record was good in the year 2015-2016. But afterwards, it was not at all a satisfied placements for the students. TCS was a major recruiter in 2016 hiring almost 90 students, but in 2017 it was only 2 student from TCS. Bad luck for 2017 batch students.

It is a home in Bengal away from my home.

Placements: The placements are pretty decent. More companies come for IT, CSE, and ECE streams. The companies like TCS, IGATE, IBM, Amazon, etc., comes with the highest package ranging from 10 lacs per annum to 3.14 lacs per annum. The college needs to work on getting more companies for Biotechnology.

Thorough analysis of BIT and revisiting memories.

Placements: The chance of getting placed is high. As this college is a part of the Techno India fraternity so that pool campus will be held. Therefore, one can go head to head with the best colleges of Techno India group and have an equal chance of getting placed. So, one can surely get into this college keeping the placement scenario in mind. In the 2015 passed out batch, 70% students were placed. In 2016 passed-out batch, 85% students were placed. In 2017 passed-out batch, 55% students were placed. In 20...

Not worth the time and the energy spent.

Placements: The placements are not at all good. There was one major recruiter (TCS), but now, that has also been subdued, and no good companies visit the college. There is no explicit placement, and all of the placements are either techno pool or WBUT pool. The companies are substandard, and you will be forced to attend placements in those companies, and if you don't, you will be disallowed to sit for future companies. Also, to mention that, if you get placed, you cannot attend the placements for any other ...

BiT gives the happiness of Heaven

Placements: The placement is too good. Many companies come over here. They take students from various departments and they offer a good salary to all of them. Multinational companies (TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Siemens and L&T) visited the campus. The seniors also got their success in various companies. There are some in Kolkata and outside too.

BIT (Techno group), a college worth studying in

Placements: Placements in BIT is looked after by the TIG. TIG does conduct some recruitment processes for the entire Techno Group. So what I have seen is that a lot of companies do recruit at least 80 percent of the total students. Unfortunately, during the year 2013, many fake companies also made their mark in BIT. But all in all, I would sum up that BIT provides ample opportunities for their students to get placed in renowned level-5 organisations.

Bengal Institute of Technology, where technology is the world.

Placements: In the year of 2015, 86% of the students were placed in the top companies(many well-known IT firms). Many students aspire for higher studies so they are doing higher studies in India as well as in abroad. The minimum package offered is 3.12 lacs and the highest tends to be 8-9 lacs. Top IT companies visited our college and will be visiting in the coming years also. Some of our recruiters are TCS, CTS, IBM, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and much more.

Not so satisfied with campus and faculty.

Placements: According to the information collected from seniors and teachers, last year, the placement was not very good and only a few students from my college were appointed for a job. The highest salary is 45000 per month, the lowest is 15000 per month and average which most of the students got is 30000 per month. CTS, IBM, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Persistent and TCS come for placements on our campus. The internship rate is on an average level.

Disappointed with biotechnology placements.

Placements: The placements for our batch have not been done yet but our seniors batch had placements. According to them and the teacher's review, the placement was not satisfactory and for our biotechnology stream, it was very poor. Very few companies come to our college for taking biotechnology students. The rest streams are more or less satisfied. TCS, CTS, IBM, Persistent and much more visit our college. The internship percentage is very less. The average salary is around 3.2 lakhs per annum, the lowest ...

Amazing people are in and around the college with lovely faculty and college staff.

Placements: Last year, the placement was good and 84% of students were placed in various companies. Many went for higher education in and around the world. But this year, there was no such record. IT companies are coming down slowly and gradually. One must have a bucket of knowledge to grab a job in the desired IT sector. The highest package was around 6 lakhs and lowest was 2 lakhs.

Placements: The placement here is good enough. Our senior as well as super seniors were well placed. If not 100%, at least 80% of the students of every branch gets placed. The highest salary is about Rs. 35000-Rs. 40000 per month whereas the lowest is around Rs. 15000 per month. The average salary of students in our college is around Rs. 25000-Rs. 30000 per month. Dissatisfaction with the infrastructure.

Placements: Placement Cell of BIT is not up to the mark, They provide pool campusing through the whole TECHNO group. But no core companies come for BIT. The maximum number of students get placed in TCS/Accenture. Once you get a job, they won't allow sitting for the next placements. The placement rate depends upon the market situation but the placement officers don't put much effort to get students placed.
