Not very satisfied but has to cope up with it as I haven't performed well.

Placements: Placements are average as it is in every private engineering college. The highest package has been 3.5 LPA and the lowest goes to even 1 lakhs. TCS, Infosys, Wipro and many startups are the main recruiters. No such internship facilities are available and there is very less industrial acquaintance.

Review of Bengal Institute of Technology.

Placements: TCS, Cognizant, Wipro and many more companies come for hiring people from our college. The placement percentage is also good as per previous year's result. 74% of people got placed in the previous year and it is easy to crack an on-campus job placement. If you are good at your studies and managed to get above 8 CGPA, then you will not have to give APTEE for the job.

BIT has the potential to do much better if the proper infrastructure is built.

Placements: No company visits the college for placements. Since BIT is a unit of Techno India Group, placements happen majorly in the Techno India, Salt lake, TCS being the mass recruiter for TIG Group. The other companies like Capgemini, Persistent, Cognizant etc also visit for placements. The highest salary- Teksystems(6LPA), the lowest salary-1.8LPA by JK Technosoft. Total students who appeared for the placement season(CSE, ECE, IT) is 161. Till July 2016, around 138 got placed. Some opted out from th...

Good faculty and good placements. So overall can be said that it is good college to study.

Placements: Good in placements. The college has a good percentage of placements. Though here we can't get a high package, everyone gets placements. The average salary is approx 3.5 lacs p.a. which if shown nowadays is not so bad, as nowadays, it's too tough to get jobs and by studying here we can get an average package of 3.5 lacs. From 3rd year onwards, several trainings are arranged by the college for the development of the students.

Partially satisfied as very unhappy with our placement(2014).Good infrastructure.Moderate facilities

Placements: The placement was not good in our time. But next year, they could arrange very good placements. Even for the next 2 years, our college got the 94th position in India. In our batch, 40-50% of the students got the placement. That time, TCS, UST Global, IBM etc companies came for the placement drive. The highest package offered was 3.60lacs/year and the lowest package was 2.8 lacs/year. Maximum companies offered the role of Software Engineer Trainee.

A college with a heart and faculty as friends.

Placements: The placements are average this time. Companies like Persistent, ThoughtWorks and IBM visited the campus, and the role offered was basically Associate System Engineer. Some marketing companies also visited the campus like Think and Learn, and other companies like CGI and Capgemini offered jobs to many students as well.

This college is good and all the faculty members are also good.

Placements: I am of the CSE branch of 2021batch I got admission to this college and this college is very good because the fee is just 430000 which is affordable and one can also avail student credit for paying their fee. The college infrastructure is not so good but it is fine.

I am not satisfied with this college.

Placements: Around 60% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course were TCS and CTS. Our college does not provide any kind of internships to the students. If students wanted to apply for internships, then they have to apply themselves. The top roles offered in our course were a software developer.

I am satisfied with our college.

Placements: Till 2016, the placement scenario was good. But from the last two years, the placement percentage has fallen a bit. Earlier placement percentage was 75%. Now it is not possible to tell the current percentage as placement is still going on. Some of the companies visited were TCS, Virtusa, Polaris, etc.
