Faculty: Teachers are generally well-qualified and knowledgeable, providing good teaching quality. However, some students mention that some teachers might not be effective in explaining certain concepts.

Infrastructure and placements are good.
Placements: In Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg the lowest salary package offered is around 4 LPA-6 LPA. Currently, 60% of students got placed from our branch. Many companies offer placements, such as TCS, Accenture, Flipkart, etc. Many students secured internships in IITs or NITs and received stipends.
Infrastructure: In our college, all labs are fully equipped and every classroom has separate projectors. Wi-Fi speed is also fast in labs and classrooms. The food quality in the mess is not great, but canteen is awesome. There is a separate medical room for any injuries or sickness.
Faculty: Our professors provide proper guidance not only for syllabus but also in other activities. They properly guide students. Course also help students gain practical knowledge. Semester exams are a bit difficult. Passing marks in all semesters is 35.
Other: BIT, Durg hosts Ojas fest which is quite popular in other colleges.

This college is very good.
Placements: First, we need to take the exam for CG PET (Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test) or JEE Main to enroll in the college. The highest salary package is around 16 LPA, the average package is around 5 LPA-6 LPA. And the lowest salary package for the college is around 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very good. Classrooms are neat and clean, making them suitable for studying. Labs are also well-maintained, neat, and clean. Wi-Fi facilities are available at all times. The canteen and hostel are also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, experienced, and polite with all students. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, with a minimum passing percentage of 35%. Teachers are also very helpful to the students.

Satisfaction due to poor guidance.
Placements: Placement scenario is decreasing day by day. Cognizant and Accenture are the two top companies which give good packages and recruit people. But the percentage of students getting placement is below 60%, and the development as well as guidance is not so good.
Infrastructure: I took Computer Science in Artificial Intelligence, but the college is much more like a school. You have to come to college and attend boring classes; there is no time for side coding or skill development. If we bunk classes, then they will call the parents. The girls' hostel is out of the campus, 2 km away. There is no facility for traveling as well as very poor infrastructure of the hostel. Even hostel food was good when I was in the 1st year, but it is now very downgraded.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly, you can ask doubts whenever you want to. But they use old teaching style, which makes the class very boring. The course curriculum is up to the mark, not so good but not bad as well. Students have to spend extra time to build skills as not much industry-ready guidance is provided.

Placements are decreasing as the year passes.
Placements: As placement isn't guaranteed because even IIT doesn't guarantee placement, it's on your own capabilities, so overall placement is far better than any average college. The average package offered is 7 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 3 Lacs per annum. Companies like Wipro, TCS Digital, etc. often visits.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is kind of old but it's a very prestigious institution. As for faculty, they are just wow but attendance is a must. College has Wi-Fi connections in hostels too and we have a library too. Courses are good; you must try and you should give the CG PET exam for entrance into this college.
Faculty: All teachers are Ph.D. professors and provide good education. I must raise them for this because I can understand each and every subject with their help; it seems like it's not hard because of them. Semester exams are of total 1000 marks, I mean the whole year. And grades are given by teachers on your own assessment; you have to gain them .
Other: Actually, I entered through CG PET and in counselling I got only the IT branch and I took it as I wanted to become a software developer, so I chose this college as I am not able to crack JEE Main but this is considered one of the top colleges in Chhattisgarh .

This college is very good for studies and also for extra-curricular activities .
Placements: There is a criteria for placement; students shouldn't have backlogs in their first year. The average package on campus is upto 5 to 6 LPA. The top companies are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. For internships, almost every student can intern in any company; it totally depends on that student.
Infrastructure: The CSE department’s infrastructure is very good. There are projectors available in classrooms, Wi-Fi is also available, and there is a central library for every student. The quality of the hostel is average because in some rooms of the first year, there is a common washroom facility, and in some rooms, there is a personal washroom. The food quality in the mess is very good in our hostel. There is a canteen inside the campus.
Faculty: Yes, the faculty members are very highly educated, and they are very helpful. Their teaching quality is just insane. They find different ways to teach the students. Some semester exams are very difficult, and some exams are easy. The pass percentage of semester exams is above 70% to 80% .
Other: I chose this course because this course is ruling everywhere. In college, there is a fest held in March or April month, and the name of the fest is Ojus. The crowd at college is very good. The campus is an eco-friendly campus.

College is not that bad. You can do well if you work hard yourself.
Placements: The placement is quite average, and the highest package is seen among CS/IT students, and the average package for overall branches combined is 4-6 Lacs, where the highest package offered to CSE branch students was 12 LPA, yet the 30% placement rate is average among all branches.
Infrastructure: The building and hostel are not high-teaching like high-end private colleges. The hostel rooms are pretty bad since its an old college, and hence students face issues with cleanliness. Wi-Fi and RO water are provided, and labs and classrooms are well maintained as compared to other mid-end colleges.
Faculty: The teachers are cooperative but not understanding; regular attendance is demanded by the principal of the college; regular practicals and classes are conducted; and the most advantageous thing about BIT is the properly planned course curriculum and timely completed syllabus.
Other: I took this each because I was interested in data science. I want my course to focus more on practical knowledge and to teach industry-level technology. There are also some clubs in our college that do some activities. The environment of the campus is also positive since the placement here is not good, and hence people focus more on skills development.
