There is a great learning opportunity for those who seek.

Placements: There are no placements for my year, but the ranks for GATE and jobs in PSU were very good. The placements of the senior batches were good as well. Only IT companies are there. Two months training is compulsory for all the students. Placement cell is of moderate efficiency. Overall development is guaranteed.

It ranked number one position in my state. It provides brilliant students.

Placements: The placement percentage is around 80% to 85% in my batch and my senior batch separately. Maximum package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary offered is 1.5 LPA. Average salary goes around 3 LPA. Companies visited are TCS, Analytics Quotient, Lafrage, L&T etc. The position of a software engineer and analyst are offered to the students. TPO is there, who provides placement details on time.

Placements 3/10, faculty 8/10, infrastructure 8/10, university and competitive exams results 10/10.

Placements: Around 150 students got placed out of 600, that too only for software engineer profile. The average package was around 3 LPA. Very few companies visited like TCS, Face Academy, and some sister company of Wipro, etc. There is a placement cell but not of much use and look after only the paper works. There are no approaching of companies for placement and internship. This was the scenario for my batch, and it might have changed till now.

Bhilai Institute of Technology - life changing.

Placements: The placement scenario of the college was very good for both seniors and us. Almost 80-85% of people got selected in TCS, and the rest of them were selected in Tech Mahindra, PNB, Metlife, etc. The highest salary offered was 4.2 lacs per annum in TCS, and the role offered majorly were business analyst and software developer.

My college is best in all over central India.

Placements: Many MNCs visits our college for placements, but most of them are service-based companies. Our teachers, the head of the T&P cell is very good and have connections throughout the nation and calls up HR from different parts of the country. Moreover he guide us how to get prepare for the placement.

From my point of view, our college is the best college in Chhattisgarh.

Placements: About 90% of the students get a job from the companies who visited our college, last year. The highest package offered by the company was 5.4 lac, and the lowest was 3.6 lacks per annum. Many companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, IBM, SAP, Adani, Balco and many more. In the year 2016, 38 companies visited our campus. There is a placement cell in our college, and about 75% of the students get the internship for college.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Finally, I want to say that BIT, Durg has the best placements in Chhattisgarh.

Placements: The placements for my senior batch are not that good, but they can get average packages like Rs. 4 lakhs to Rs. 5 lakhs. The highest package offered is Rs. 8 lakhs per annum. 80% to 90% of the students got the internship from this college. It is very useful for us because it helps in our future jobs. Lastly, I want to say that Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg is the best college in central India.

A well developed college for higher studies

Placements: The placements were nice. Companies like TCS and Tech Mahindra have taken many students. Students from this college are getting jobs easily. Many students easily get placed in the companies. The companies also offer a good salary to the students. The companies allow the students to get business awareness too.

Review of Bhilai Institute of Technology

Placements: Placements are okay here. Students get placed in companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. Around 3-4 LPA is the average salary offered. There are a few open placement opportunities also provided by the college. The placement opportunities are for every branch and like mechanical branch had the highest package of 6 LPA.

All in one- good faculty, good facilities, awesome infrastructure

Placements: The placements are pretty good, most of the seniors have been placed in different companies. Even off-campus interviews are available. The campus is visited by Indian Navy and Indian Army for placement. Every student is allotted a mentor so that they can overcome any issue.

Good things about my college.

Placements: The placements opportunities in our college are good but not the best. The companies for the students in management department are good, but for the engineering department, the maximum package offered is 4 to 7 LPA which is quite good for someone who wants a job of normal salary. And if you want more, then go for the higher studies. The companies that visit the college are only around 10 to 18, not much. Last year, the number of students got selected for the companies is also moderate, only 157 ...

Known for its infrastructure and way of life

Placements: BIT Durg is second only to NIT Raipur in placements for engineering in Chhattisgarh. With a long-standing relationship with TCS, SAP and other companies, placements are comparatively healthy in an otherwise competitive market especially taking into account that IT companies are a scarcity in central India. There is a dedicated faculty-run placement cell for the college and majority of placements are concentrated in the IT sector. Although few companies for civil, electronics, electrical and mech...

BIT Durg Review- I'm very much satisfied with my college. But I will say the placement is average.

Placements: Placement, especially in the civil branch, is not good. Out of 65 students, some 6-7 students got placed in companies like L&T or any other private sector company with an average package of Rs. 3-4 lakhs per annum. As for internship, our college gives a one-month holiday for internship after the 4th and 6th semester and the companies have to be chosen by us only.

Awesome college because facilities are awesome, good placements, etc.

Placements: As compared to other colleges in Raipur, BIT invites more companies to visit the college. Generally, the placement starts from the month of September. i.e. from the 7th semester only. Placements are good. Last year, particularly for the CSE branch, 90% students got selected. Companies like TCS, AQ, Persistent, etc visited. The TPO department is great they do everything possible to get good companies in our college.

One of the best colleges, after NIT Raipur in Chhattisgarh.

Placements: The placements are the same story. Mostly, IT companies visit the campus and the average package is somewhere between 3.5-4 LPA. The college has good placements for B.E. but they are really pathetic for MBA. I suggest not to apply for MBA here. The placements are not as good as NIT Raipur, but are better than the private colleges here. It is the oldest private college in Bhilai.

The best days were those 4 years in this supportive environment. I learned so much.

Placements: The placement record has been a milestone in the city. TCS, LnT, Merchant Navy and many more reputed companies hire around 70-75% students from a batch. The college in care run personality development classes. The criteria for hiring is not just for the show off or to maintain the record. The companies that hire the students from here are satisfactorily comfortable and not in regret. They found the students worth any quality education.

One of the best colleges in CG.

Placements: Placement of our college is the best as compared to all colleges in Chhatisgarh (exp- NIT, IIT). Percentage of students placed in our college is 50-70. Percentage of placement in my branch is 80. Many more companies visit the campus (TCS, SAIL, INFOSYS etc). The average package in our college is 5.5 lakh.

A good option to study for bachelor's degree.

Placements: Placement of the college is very good and almost all the companies that visit our college takes least 2 to 3 students with an average package of 4.5 lakhs rupees. But most of the students of BIT, Durg opt for going into higher education like GATE or CAT. Major recruiters are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys.

This college is one of best in Chhattisgarh.

Placements: The placement is good and it begins from the 7th or 8th semester. There are companies like Accenture, TCS, Capgemini, Josh Technology etc which come for placements. There are also few pool campus drives in this college. The package range is from 2 lacs-7 lacs per annum.
