It is a very good college for students.
Placements: Placements were not provided in our college. Few students can get placed in private and government sectors if they work hard. Professors also guide students regarding placements.
Infrastructure: Our department was very well-decorated. Geography department had a separate building. Geography laboratory was provided with proper equipment like topographical sheets, a barometer, and all the instruments related to the survey. There was a separate department for every specialization.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good. Every department had more than 5 faculty members. There were 6 professors in the geography department. All faculty members were well-qualified. The HOD of every department was a Ph.D. scholar.
Other: Our college should improve its placements.

It is a good college but improvement is necessary.
Placements: There are no placements in this college. There are also no companies that visit to hire students. But some companies provide internships to the students.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi is limited to 40 MB usage daily. The canteen is average, and the hostel facility is not available. The game room is also available. The library is just under the game room, but the air-conditioned library is not provided. The sit is also not comfortable to study.
Faculty: In this college, teachers are average, and some of them are egotistic. Most of the teachers taught the curriculum proficiently. The exams are conducted by the University of Calcutta. The difficulty level of CU has no bounds. The classes are not completed, and CU took offline exams for all.

College provides quality education with placements.
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed in Tata Consultancy Service and Infosys. The salary package offered is 2 LPA - 3 LPA. About 40% of students got internships. Companies offered positions like Chartered Accountant, Banking, Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, and Human Resources.
Infrastructure: Library is fascinating with modern books and journal papers air-conditioned. Each room has a table and Wi-Fi. Lab is equipped with updated computers, smart screens, etc. Hostel fees are very expensive according to the general feel. Food quality in canteen is very good and up to the mark, and price is quite cheap.
Faculty: College is attached to national service Scheme to provide extracurricular activities for students. Teachers are amiable and highly qualified. It makes students industry-ready with modern technology and communication skills.
Other: I chose this degree because college is best for quality education in my city. Student-teacher communication is very helpful. It would be better if students are engaged in outdoor games.

Our college is good for average students and competitive exams.
Placements: Mostly the computer science honors students got places in some software companies like Infosys, Cognizant, etc. They mainly offer salary packages around 1.5 to 2 LPA and more. Some B.Com students were also placed. But there is a very low placement for B.A.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are big enough and always neat. Computer labs are well maintained. There are three computer labs. One with some old machines and the other two have a brand new one with full air-conditioners. All the machines work very well. Wi-Fi system is also well maintained. Library is small but enough for reading books peacefully. There is no hostel facility.
Faculty: Teachers are very much knowledgeable in the computer science branch. Teachers of B.A. and B.Com are also knowledgeable and skillful. They teach in a very fine way, to make the students understand which makes the semester exams very easy. The pass percentage is average which is around 65 or 70%.
Other: I chose B.A. to get prepare for competitive exams. Campus is small but well maintained. As it is located on the Hooghly river bank, it makes the atmosphere peaceful and the ground is also well maintained and big. College also provides scholarships. They try their best so that every student gets a scholarship. Sports events and fests are enjoyable.

It is a student-friendly college with excellent faculty members.
Placements: The college provides graduation courses, but it didn't have the mandatory placement cell. However, by the initiative of the University of Calcutta, a placement cell has recently been made, which doesn't ensure jobs. Still, they can help students to find jobs if they are interested.
Infrastructure: The college campus has Wi-Fi facilities. It has practical labs for science departments, and it has a common library that is accessible to students of each stream. The college has a mess for girls. Mess for boys has not yet been made. The mess for girls doesn't have any special canteen. The college has a common canteen where everyone inside the college is allowed. The college has basic medical facilities, like the availability of first aid boxes, and in case of serious injuries, a doctor is summoned. In case of emergency, there is a hospital nearby. The college has a playground that has a tennis court, and annual sports are also held where there are many events.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was excellent. The course curriculum BA Hons in English literature was relevant. It makes students industry-ready in the sense that it cultivates the knowledge that helps to further their communication with society, which in turn makes them industry-ready. When I was pursuing the course, the semester system wasn't introduced. The passing percentage of students is low.

Bidhan Chandra College is a very good institution for studying and enjoying your college life.
Placements: My course was English hons., and almost everyone got an average of 60% marks. There is no internship. I quit college after my degree. There's no campus recruitment. It was a basic course. I think this college has lots of potential for the future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is not available. Classrooms are clean, and a library is available. I got everything I needed. I didn't stay in the hostel, but the hostel facilities are available. The canteen is decent. I played cricket mostly. I'm not sure about medical facilities.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. They explained everything. The course curriculum was outdated. My course didn't make me industry-ready. There were lots of courses to choose and opportunities to grow. The college system was on point, and the exams were handled very well.
Other: I was interested in English, that's why I chose this course. I learnt what I wanted. I wished my course provides more updated knowledge. The college organises few events every year. The college atmosphere is very good, and I made good friends and had a lot of fun.
