It is one of the best colleges for microbiology.

Infrastructure: The campus is large but lacks proper maintenance. Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and are in good condition. Laboratories are excellent. Wi-Fi facilities is not available. The library is spacious and has a good collection of books. There is a canteen on campus that provides decent food. A large playground is available for students to practice various sports, along with a badminton court. Hostel facilities are not provided by the college.

Good infrastructure but there is no placement facility in the college .

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, with proper fans and lighting, but some of them are not maintained. The library is well-equipped with lots of books, and I don't know about the entire college, but our department has a separate Wi-Fi connection, and the canteen has been closed. I don't know why.

College life at Bidhannagar College, Salt Lake.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Bidhannagar College is above average. There are two buildings, one for bachelor's departments and the other for master's degree departments. Classrooms are neat but small. Wi-Fi is not available for students' personal use. The canteen food is average, and medical facilities are available. There is a sports room for playing table tennis and other games, and a playground on campus.

Recently, there was a NAAC visit. They have specially certified Anthropology.

Infrastructure: The Anthropology department has a great library. The labs are okay but still need a few better instruments. There is management of a smart classroom with a projector system. Each year, our college organizes annual sports, cricket tournaments, and football and kabaddi matches for both males and females.

Went to an unknown place but eventually found a home.

Infrastructure: Many science departments have labs for their practical classes, but some of them are not maintained well and are in poor condition. Apart from that, there are some classrooms that are well-equipped with ICT boards but are not cleaned on a regular basis. The college does not provide a hostel and has no proper medical facilities, but there is a canteen. However, most of the time it’s closed, and the food there is not very cheap, but it’s quite good. The sports facilities and gymnasium are availabl...

For science students, labs are well-equipped, and the campus is large.

Infrastructure: College fests are a must for college life, and one will experience many such events throughout their college years. However, there are no fixed festivals, excluding Freshers and Farewell. The college is equipped with a large library, a great place for bookworms like me! The general classrooms do not have any technical advancements, but some classrooms are equipped with smart boards, computers, etc. The college encourages all kinds of sports, like football and cricket. Groups in the college inclu...

I liked the appearance of the college and campus gives a glimpse of natural vibe.

Infrastructure: There was an annual festival called Dhun, which you enjoyed a lot because their were many cultural programs and competitive games. The college library is wide; there were many books related to your subjects. There were also books available for competitive exams. In March, annual sports take place.

I am proud to be a student in the Anthropology department of Bidhannagar College.

Infrastructure: The library of this college is excellent; there are thousands of books, many elusive collections, and interesting subjects related to my subject. The lab is well functioning. This college does not contain any hostels or dormitories for students. Those who come from out of the district stay as guests.

Ragging is totally absent in this college.

Infrastructure: We had double-sharing rooms for the first-year and second-year undergraduate students. We were provided with 2 beds, cupboards, tables and chairs. I would rate the hostel mess food 5/10. You just have to pay the hostel fee before the beginning of every semester and then you will be allotted a hostel and a mess. The hostel and the mess fee is 37000 per semester, which I think is affordable.
