Good infrastructure but there is no placement facility in the college .

Placements: No placement facility is there in the college. There is no place meant facility. None has come to recruit us. If they look. Through LinkedIn and others they find one but the college itself doesn't take any initiative to give us internship the roles actually depends upon the course.

Not so valuable for quality studies.

Placements: At Bidhannagar Government College, the placement rate for undergraduate courses is normally 66%. This indicates that, after finishing their education, between two-thirds and three-quarters of students are able to find work. There are internships available at Ola, Zomato, etc.

I am from philosophy department.

Placements: I do not like the placement facility because there is no placement cell in our college. This is my last year in my college. I am actively looking to do my higher studies. The highest package was 10 LPA but from technical courses. Otherwise off campus placements is open for all.

Good but need to improve practical equipments.

Placements: Not only me but also my classmates are not satisfied with the placement option of our college. I think they should improve this. If not possible at least publish a newsletter to help us about the news of outside placement options regularly. If you want a job please don't take this course because this is an academic course. So zero expectations about placements.

Do not take admission here.

Placements: Overall placement is not good. I don't like the college. No placement facility but if you can add your own effort then you can apply outside. But that will be nothing because the maximum company will reject you because you have a background in academic courses not technical courses. So you can try for post office GDS jobs if you have high percentage in class 10.

It is a very good college for students.

Placements: Placements are not good. It is an academic course but this college should inform us about the off-campus placements. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA. Few students opted for higher studies.

I would not recommend joining this college.

Placements: The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Companies like Aimil and Web Idea Solutions visited our college. Some students got internships by themselves.

It is an affordable college.

Placements: It is not a professional course. Our college doesn't provide good placements. Students have to find placements by themselves. Placements are average.

I am happy with our college.

Placements: No placement is available for our course but the college should arrange placements with no technical jobs. The highest package is 6 LPA in the MCA. Department. He got a job as a software developed at Wipro. I have tried to join a sales and marketing company but was unable to crack the interview due to zero placement support by our department.

Very well furnished, but there is no placements.

Placements: There is no placements for my course B.Sc. anthroplogy. I think they should give us opportunity to work in field and give as more knowledge and skills.

Overall it is an average college, and it depends on the persons to adjust here.

Placements: No placement programs are organised by the college for B.Sc Anthropology Hons. Neither placements programs are organised for the current batches as it is an academic course and not a professional course. There is no professional course offered by the college therefore no placement programs are organised.

Mainly I would like to say that it is not a good college for good students. It's good for averages.

Placements: There is no placements after completing the course of M.Sc. in Chemistry. Only you can go for Ph.D. programme if you clear NET examination. Else you have to find job for yourself in various companies. Actually college will not provide you any placements. It's all about the placements.

Review of Bidhannagar Government College.

Placements: The process of campus placements does not take place in our college, and neither of the courses has masters taught, except for two or three. Here, internships and scholarships are also absent in our college practices. But, a minimal few grants are there for women, like the Kanyasri and alike. Information is also not provided regarding scholarships, job interviews and internships.

This is a small college, but there is very good lab and library in our department (physics), you can find all required instrument for BSc 1st year, 2nd year & 3rd year. Teachers are very helpful, you can access computer from our lab. There are 12 computers in our lab and also there is a nice playground behind the college. Some other features like scholarship, tuition fees are also applicable for students.
