Placements: From my stream nobody is placed because college didn't have us any chance to appear in placement. TPO department of the college failed to organize any placement in college campus. As per memory college had organized only a single campus placement which was a Telecom company. The selected student including me all of us didn't join the company because we were hoping for core companies. But alas!our hopes gone in vain. Not a single core company visited for placement. The college is good, but the problem is that due to its distance from Kolkata the faculty doesn't want to live here, and also poor campus placements are another major problem. Its infrastructure is huge, and hostel facilities are good. The faculty is helpful. If the campus placements improve, then it can be a famous school in this region.
Birbhum Institute of Engineering & Technology is not good. There are not only placement problem but also the campus was very bad. Some faculty are good but maximum faculty are bad. The main problem is the transport problem. The infrastructure of the college is very poor. The hostel life is boring.
